ChemD is real stinky. Of course y'all will deny its even skunk. But it's one of those real smelly clones. Surely you'll enjoy it. Be sure your carbon scrubber is freshened. Woot!

Hallo Time 2 unite" - hows things!

I remember you from a few years back when the refferman was still about the place, and in an odd way you kindá inspired me to go forth and breed my own Road kill varity, and to cut a long story short i do have this project going now, and the fact i couldnt buy the D/skunk off refferman kinda clinched the deal for me to make my own, lol but true to that,

I was given some old Afghan kush varietys off a guy in the states who told me they were very strong foul stinking things that would siut me to make a rks brand, and the seeds wern't from any seed banks either, sweet one yes"

Ive not found these a marriage partner yet though, something to make a f/1 with, I know exactly what id like to use to, one of those caliofornian strains that smell like sewarge in early flower and at the end of flower also, but a good one of course, the smell is simillar to a humboldt plant really,

I dont get as much time as id like online anymore and really wanted to see whats been going on and read this thread, the main reason i re'joined here actually.

the lime green indica golfballish sized bud skunk is what I call my Holy Grail of pot, I soooo loved that stuff.. your right I dont remember it having many trichs but is was sticky non the less... hell it was actually the stickiest but i have ever had that was resonably cured... I was not into growing back then but ever since I have been growing I have been looking for something like it...

it was with out a doubt 80-90 indica and like I said on a preivous response to this thread it came from Mexico our places south and from my exp I think it is still out there somewhere being grown in Mexico or South/Central America... grown by people that had no clue there were such things as dutch genetics and probably still dont ... so i dont think it has been bred out of existance... just dont think people are going to find it easily in Dutch/Canadian genetics.

I have some Thai seedsGypsy gave me from one of his thailand trips and some from a trip of his to Oaxaca Mexico, imo I think the smell we want can be found by people traveling the globe asking locals if anything like that grows nearby and then sampling it...

And on a side note I think I now remember a strain being called Polecat(another name for a skunk)...I cant find the old strain guide I once used so I didnt have much luck finding info on it

Hi, I was searching for the pole cat and of course it led me back to this thread, ha', - Those lime green skunks ive tried over the years have all been kick ass varietys really,

The origional pole cat i recall come from a packet of sensi seeds Northern lights brand, one of those freak plants like the cheese i suppose,

Im told some of my old friends ive not seen for 20 years have or had the pole cat clone for about 5-6 years now, so it can't be from sagamartha eh, Il find out later today what the story is actually, im trying to set up a meeting etc with my old growing pals to see if they still have the clone,?

pukka seeds.com still have tonys variety of the pole cat, and they told me three times no we dont ship to your country, UK laws kindá suck dont they,

I have not been around for a couple months and was hoping when I came back to this thread someone would have located the RKS. I guess it ain't that easy, hell, I have been looking for it for years now with no luck at all and I go through hundreds of strains a year. Seems to be a remote chance, but hopefully someone will get lucky and prove it not extinct.

The good new is after reading a few posts it looks like some seeds are around that claim to be at least part RKS. I do hope they turn out good and some nice specimens are found. I'll be watching.

it has gotta still be out there I had the rks 5 years ago... insanely stinky to deservedly take on mythological proportions... It was out of Orange County and they called it "humboldt shit" It was really great stuff that got trippy if you smoked enough. no sweet smell... opening a ounce bag was like getting sprayed point blank in the face by a skunk. i remember having an empty g baggy that formerly held rks in the bottom of my backpack in my friends pick up and when we went to pick up a friend, who didnt toke, he asked if we had just smoked. from an empty g baggy, well maybe a stem and some crums. it was nearly impossible to conceal. but damn was it good. It was the best I had tried up untill that point. Id say around the potency of trainwreck. I liked the high much better though more clear in the head. It didnt induce paranioa unless you had somthing to really worry about, in which case you got hella paranoid. very solid high with amazing depth and a great head felt like electricity currents in my brain. I remember at one point really missing this strain, it was the first AAA bud id ever tried.

This i found very interesting indeed, I dont know much about the origional rks brand but I always felt the humboldt variety must have played a part in that plant for sure, anything Caliofornian with that sewarge smell id like to find again.

Hi guys,
i've never grown, smoked or seen the RKS Roadkill Skunk before,
but what i can say is with 1 of the phenos of Mr Nice AfghanHaze x AfghanSkunk i found was an unmistakable rotten meat smell when growing mixed with fuel,
i grew this last year (harvested in December just before Christmas) and i've been talking about this 1 ever since,
but because it's a relatively new hybrid it's hard to explain just how good it was to other growers mearly by describing it in words,
3 phenos i had but only 1 produced the dead meat + fuel smell when growing,
i'd love to see some of you guys go searching through this hybrid for the one i'm talking about as i guarantee it's gonna be in the area of what your looking for,
hopefully if Shanti sees this he may be able to chime in as well as he may know of the pheno i'm talking about
peace :joint:

Hi there, I did ask shanti over on his own site what marijuana varietys he thought were strong stinkers and he mentioned the afghan haze and others being worked on a few months back now, you made it sound good with a rotten smell i like best in a skunk plant.

at this point it feels like we are all trying to reach that pot of gold on the other end of the rainbow

Actually, I was at a park the other day, and could of swore I smelled a dead skunk...As I was getting into my car, the smell got stronger. Right then, a bunch of paranoid stoned teenagers came wandering out of the woods. These kids were smoking something dank, and it was very reminiscent of some of the old school roadkill.

So, I see it more as "the grass is always greener on the other side"...and is it bad to constantly seek perfection? In the veggie world there are many people (including me) still searching for "grandpa's tomato".

Most likely, we'll never find the exact genetics, but we can look for similar traits.

Hey T2U!

Remember me! Going to be getting those seeds rolling and wanted to let you know I was back. Since I don't have 50 post yet and can't PM your ass. lolol. Got stuff rolling now for the 4:20 cup and going to try and squeeze in a run before the cup.

I'll post and let you know how it goes. Going to run two batches at two locations for a larger selection of Pheno's. Hopefully the seeds will be harvested and ready before the cup. If so, I will make sure they make it there and given out as "Freebies" like I said I would.

Hope all is well buddy.
Take care,
BG

No worries,

we are working on some issues. Nothing big, just figuring out how we are going to set these up. We are thinking about 2 4x8 Homeboxes. We want to make sure we can handle the odar. We are also going to run a ozone generator in the room. This should cover any odar's what so ever. Going to dig out the seeds and go through them. I've got a good enough, just need to figure out how many to germ and the amount that will fit in the Homeboxes. Think will run them in 3 gallon containers. I'll make sure to post the thread once we get rolling.

I'm guessing and this is a guess. I'm thinking around 50 plants total. Should give us a good amount to choose from. I'm not to worried about it, because I know from a member here that he saw some nice pheno's in the batch he ran. He just had some issues and couldn't save them. I know where these seed came from and they where from my hands back in the day, so there is no guessing.

It should go well, just going to take some time. Pick the right parents and then harvest the seeds. Either way, they will get shared and there will be allot of them. I'll most likely keep one of the 4x8 going to do a IBL of them after we make the first selection. Stink, stink, and more stink.
Later,
BG

Now that's what I like to hear! Glad to see you're back in business Billygoat, and tackling the infamous RKS project right out of the gates. You sure don't waste any time. Can you tell us a little about the source of these seeds? Sounds like they're from an original batch of RKS circa ~'89 or so, via T2U? BTW, I told Bartender(187) to holler at you, so you should be hearing from him sometime soon.
