Florida Outdoors: AK47, White Widow, Blueberry and Bagseed

Soo....yeah. Sorry for the lack of updates. That fucking deer got into my spot and ate the shit out of everything. I don't know how many trips he made but he got enough. I chopped the rest and its already gone. I got three ounces of bud that was OK....not worthy of pictures or trying to grow again....

Everything that is actually worth growing is fine. I sprayed it all down with pepper spray and i think that's why he avoided them. I had a bit of a fungus gnat infestation. They did some damage...so much easier to have pretty plants when you can check up on em all the time.

Blueberry and AK about a week ago:

Hey Johhny:

Sorry about the f'ing deer. Nothing but 200# rats. They're hard to keep away. Any possibility of using hog wire guards on your plants? Spendy but works for deer.

Toodles

They were too big for wire...i'm working on making cages as we speak for the others.
I didn't want to spray em either. I was a few days from harvest and had picked samplers from all of em... decent sativa high. Taste/smell nothing to write home about so i'm not crushed or anything. Shit, i was gonna pitch em months ago. I still came out ahead.

Gotta love outdoor gambling... i mean gardening...

Ak47:

in coco/compost fed all organics.

I've been feeding the White Widow:
Week 2-3
PBP at 15-20 ml. per Gallon
Nitrex at 4 ml.
Fulvex at 5ml.
MaxiCrop at 5ml.
Turf Pro at 5ml.

Next 2 weeks:
PBP at 20-25ml
Fulvex 5ml
Maxicrop 5ml
Turf Pro 5ml

I've been working on making some seeds this round. I've got a White Widow male that has already busted.... on the AK's mainly...but i did bring a bit of pollen over to the Blueberry and the White Widow to pollinate some lower branches. He was fast and healthy....he also stunk of White Widow, more-so than the female. The AK's are definitely pollinated...looking forward to some home made White Russian.

Hopefully it wasn't too late for the Blueberry....it's half way along and is just about filled out with fluff. She is smelling soo damn good. A musky dank smell and strait up Blueberry when you touch her. She is also quite frosty.

I don't know why people would complain about this strain so much. Seems like a winner so far....I hope she purples up a bit....I hit her with nutes yesterday for the second time at the ratios in my last post. She's been green and happy so i've been going easy on the feedings. I put a bit in the soil with the composts and plant tone and it has been plenty. I'm doing it how DJ Short suggests and it's been working great. Great job on this one DJ.

The White Widow in coco is filling out nicely. I think it has been out three weeks today looking at my post history. It smells dead on for grape soda, with a little bit of rotten tropical fruit. It is starting to show signs of trichs....i've read it shows em a bit later than other strains so i'm thinking it will frost up heavy later on. I'm really digging the coco and it seems to dig the organics so its smiles all around.

Hey JR, I've had plenty of good AZ weed. sometimes a chunk of mexibrick will even kick your ass.
Dude, I would never hold a cottonmouth. It's the meanest snake there is. And deadly. Used to yank em out of canals fishing with cane poles in rice country. meaning swamps and all the accoutrements like snakes. If one was in my house it would be because I'm having it for dinner.
had a western dback almost 6 feet long in my yard last year. That's a monster coontail. I ate it.

Easy Johnny, love the pic of the mini mango tree. And it's flowering, is'nt to young too. Wish we had the climate you have there, here in the UK.

Peace Tc

Hazy: Yeah...can't wait for the christmas bud coming in a few months. Love me some import....such a variety of tastes/smells that you can't find with indoor buds.

I've been accused of having bad luck by Evlme2 LOL but i just lack that part of thought that tells you not to do something. I'm a bit crazy like that....I'm learning slowly, though. I was lucky enough to be born with a sixth sense for cops though.

Thomas Cherry: Good eye on the Mango. It's my third tree. I've got a Glenn, Kent, and Nam Doc Mai. That is the Nam Doc Mai and it has a weird flowering period. It just goes whenever and will be growing on one branch and flowering on another. It's gonna go in the ground next season....although i am debating on keeping it in a big pot. We'll see on that one....

I went out yesterday and everything looks great. Didn't bring the cam but i'd figure i'd update anyway.

The blueberry has about two weeks left and is looking ridiculous. It is glowing white and stinking. It definitely got pollinated....maybe a little more than i wanted....but that's alright. More seeds to share! I can already tell this BB is a winner. Haven't tasted her yet bet just from a growers perspective, it is perfect. It's just starting to show some yellow fans at the bottom so she should be plenty flushed by harvest time.

The white widow has really filled out and is stacking on the trichs at an alarming rate. It is strait covered now. It still smells a bit like grape but another funkier smell has taken over. I'd guess it's the way it will smell from now on and it's exactly what the male smelled like. She has a few seed developing....maybe 30...this is what i was shooting for with the BB but i think it got pollinated by the wind as it was only 100 yrds away from the male. It's my first crack at pollen chucking so i'm learning as i go.

There are three AK's that are completely seeded. I put them with the male. I'm actually least impressed with the AK. It may just be that it was seeded or just didn't get that jump they needed....or maybe it was those FUCKING FUNGUS GNATS !!
It just seems they shot there load in veg. Two pump chump AK pheno LOL I may be misjudging it from those few plants....we'll see. I picked a small bud from one and smoked it and i love the taste of it.

Ive got some juvie AK's going so maybe i'll find a winning pheno. It seems like a promising strain from all the praising reports.

I've got more AK's at a buddies house and i've got a few more behind those so time will tell with that one. They are following the H3ad formula and they are doing quite well. They will be the real judge of the Pheno....I'm wishing i gave my buddy some BlueBerry clones, though.

Thanks for looking....hopefully i'll get some more pictures up here soon.

Smoke em if ya got em !!

White Widow:

Blue Berry:

AK 47:

Alright...i exaggerated the White Widow's frostyness a bit. I saw it at night and it was sparkling tremendously. It still has a bit of frost and it still needs 3-4 weeks.

The fucking Blue Berry is practically fully seeded...nature can be hard to fend off sometimes. The male had only dropped pollen for two days but damn it did he have a life of sexual debauchery.

The AK's look exactly like yours Evl...structure wise. They put out a big ol' chunky main cola if left without training. I think this one does a bit better left alone...

Looking good. Nice job representing FL.

Also, gotta love the palmettos. Last year I just found a group of them with a giant open garden in the middle. Hard as hell to get out of the ground, but they provide great protection.

It was seeded on purpose...to make seeds. To plant. To find some different genetics. To share....FOR FREE.

Can't say i'm disappointed, just a little taken back by the shear will of survival in this plant.

I'm just gonna have to keep it all for myself now...damn it :joint:

LOL!! You're a trip Johnny!

Didn't take long for that male to do his thing huh? The original "minute man"!!

It was 19F here this AM. Blizzard conditions down south of me. Be glad you can even have an outdoor crop.

Toodles :rasta:

No shit Toodles...he came through town, knocked up the virgins and left with the booze and pills. That's what ya get for inviting horny guys into town. One knocked up girl is fine, but save some for the rest of us.

So yeah, my only complain is it killed yield a bit. I'm just glad i'm getting the genetics in seed form ASAP Ya never know what tomorrow will bring.

You should see my vegetable seed collection....i could open up a store.

I just went out there and fed everything. I hit the Blue Berry again....hopefully it will still starve itself. This pheno is a decent eater, not as finicky as other ones, i guess.

I was doing the math and the Widow is on day 29 of flowering. It has at least another month to fill out.

The blueberry is a week ahead and is on day 36. I thought it was a little further along but I guess not. It looks like it needs another month to fill in.

Here's a pic of it all finished up...Grown by EvlMe2(hope ya don't mind)
He did a bang up job on her....

The two ak's are filling in nicely. I'd love to pull an ounce off each one but i don't know if it's even possible without perfect conditions and coco. Everything is in a mix of 50% coco/ 50% potting soil mix except the big Widow.

everything ok here Johhny??

saw the link in the avy and thought I'd give it a bump..

how did the AK perform outdoors down south?

Sorry for being a lazy fuck and letting this thread die...Thanks to anyone who stopped by and looked.

The AK did alright...got spider mites in two different locations and it wasn't that potent. Disappointing if you ask me although it was a very fast vegger and had a good taste. The widow was stronger and smelled better than the AK but the taste was lacking. The BB was the winner for all around...she wasn't a KO high but it was a good indica high and a sweet berry taste as well as smell.

Up next is JLP SourDog F2's and Super Silver Haze f2's....

Kinda funny, my wife and I are seriously looking at relocating to Florida from Colorado, and I've been freaking out about the laws down there vs. the direction Colorado is going. I ran across this thread and got all worried that something bad had happened since you hadn't posted since October. Glad I was wrong!

I love Colorado, but we just can't take the winters for much longer.

Blacksmith76, Thanks for the concern. All is well, I just got busy with real life and didn't get pics or update. I appreciate the concern though.

I forgot to mention about my first go at making some seeds. Well, to make it short, it didn't go well at all. I used a White Label White Widow male and upon further inspection confirmed him a herman.

I trashed all the seeds: bbxww, akxww, ww f2's....I wouldn't want to be gifting seeds that I knew came from shitty breeding.

I'm still in the works searching for parental material. I really want to spread the seed. It's always been something I've been interested in. JLP and Gypsy gave me the inspiration. Thanks Guys. You rock!
