Reason this isn't a Post Your Mothers Thread. I want a little back and forth between those of us who devote our work to diversity. Not commercialism. Most commercial growers have a few strains and blow them up. If they get cuts they flower them out, knowing they can get more. Why have a veg room when you can just flip it.
It take a lot more work to have 10+ strains, especially with cooperating with the law. I need 100 plants just to feel safe that I can save all my strains. I've got over 30, yet only have a 2k flowering room.
I'm very impressed with all of these lists. Especially when the same bomb strains keep showing up. We need to compare our bubbas and Dawgs and whatnot. Not to prove validity, but to share the pheno's we got.
Anyone else tempted to colloidal silver some ladies and knock up everything, systematically with every strain, to start an awesome seed bank? Whatever 30 factorial (30!) is (for math guys, I could figure it out, but im lazy) would be quite the selection (read, thousands of strains).
I'm high, and rambling, but, well thats it.
Good day everyone. I had another occurrence of a bird swarm today in my backyard. Literally thousands of little black birds swoop and swarm the lot next to my house and the tree on the other side. Literally they just swarm back and forth through my backyard. I guess it's too windy for them on the powerlines. Fucking awesome. The one dense tree hold maybe 500 birds. You don't even see them until and new 500 birds fly into the tree. Mass chaos ensues until the displaced birds find a new spot.
Has anyone else seen this is person? The magnitude of birds is common (I'm in a quite rural spot, near the coast), but lately they've been acting weird enough to notice.

Re: Birds, sounds like fucking starlings. When they are walking around does it look like they have stumpy/nonexistent tails, glossy black with little white speckles? Brought to the US by some fruitloop who thought it would be a great show of respect to The Bard Himself by stocking Central Park with a pair of every bird mentioned in Shakespeare... lol now we're stuck with them!

I feel ya. With many diffeent strains, it gets hard to keep up with all of their wants. Some want a lot of food, some not much.

among others I cant remember right now.
It gets to be a pain but I love them all so they get good care. I have found that keeping moms in a larger soil bucket works the best. It is more forgiving and lets you have a little down time in between feedings and such.
I am still on the hunt for more genetics. I canned a bunch of strains in my garden but they are in then capable hands of F.A.M.I.L.Y. members so they count as part of my collection.
I hope to find a decent OG plant and a couple of high class sativas.
SSH is on my wish list still. I have never tried her but I hear she is worth the long bloom time.
