Coincidentally, I had a c-99 cross with the same name as a member in this thread: Vermonster. I got it on auction while og was up. c99xSweet Tooth, IIRC. Fantastic, wish I still had it..
Vermonster (the member), would you happen to know anything about this plant?

Ok so I just received some C99 IBL, and am about to start a breeding project.
Basically i'm going to pick a good male, then make a cross to suit as many of my needs as I can.

I also have access to many of the Southern California clones, so suggestions for clone only crosses are welcome.

Here's a preliminary list using genetics that I currently have (and maybe one or two that I plan to acquire.)
Father:C99
Mothers:

Yield: AK47, Green Crack, C99, ?
Taste: C99 pinapple pheno IBL, Purple Urkle, ?
Potency: OGKush, Chemdog 91, Herijuana, ?
Quality of High: F-13, FLO
Sativa High: (C99xHaze) or (C99xSSH), ?Any amazing clones?
Indica High: Herijuana, Sensi Star,

Any ideas? Help me out guys and girls!

Damn, love that selection you've created, Dr B. Should cover a lot for an eclectic smoker such as I. Since we're on the topic of crosses, I have some 30 day Old Time Moonshine (Dj) in veg at this time. If I can keep from eating those beauties, i'll be looking for that male to cross the C99 with. Think of a Dj/Wally hookup. OTMxC99 :chin: Works for me. :smoke: :canabis: .

I'd go with a c99 x williams wonder.

Again matching the always lovely cinderella with a heavier indica dom. strain.. Though ww has a flavor that leans more to the citrusy side as does c99. I'd hate to loose any of that citrusy pinapply melony c99 goodness by breeding it to something heavily indica and bland as well....

I'm now flowering c99x blueberry plant that looks pretty good, though smells very different then I expected it would. It smells neither like the c99, or the blueberry in flower.

OK so i've got one for the Green Crack, which is a must. Vash is going to use an OLD TIME MOONSHINE! (DJS) to hit up a C99 female.
Mr. Postman, I don't have the williams wonder, but I think that matching the C99 up with a full indica that won't disrupt the C99 smell and flavor is a great idea! Do you think I should go with the WW specifically, or are there any other indica's that might fit the bill?

Nice crosses. I'm starting a bunch of breading projects myself. I finially got 3 seperate "Breading boxes" i call them. I'm Gonna put a clone or two of each strain i have in each box and a differnt male or two per. box. Cant wait im gonna have 1,000's of seeds in no time. Some crazy crosses to.

I'm also looking for some good C99 seeds in look for a elite male, I know i have the good pineapple pheno already. Throws alot of single bladed leafs and compact.. If u have good c99 u know what i mean, they look alot different from most my other strains, i could spot c99 out of a crowd i must say.

I have to say that all of the mosca negra and wally duck c99 crosses are stellar! Joey weed also does a nice job of capturing her essence! Peace!


my fav's:

c99 x Williams wonder ( my own stock)

c99 x grapefruit (wallyduck)

c99 x C4 (Mosca Negra)

I keep these all going hard in my room. Its the kill.... people round my way cant get enough of it.

On A side note... joey weeds blue apollo is off the hook, and brings a similar high to the cindy99

No Dr. B there are a few others that would fit the bill IMO. I'm sure some of the other strains people mentioned here in this thread would be good choices as well. I was just giving a suggestion of one I'd like to try and why. I love the c99 flavoring so I would try to match it with something similar flavor wise, or something different all together in an attempt to at least try an make it easier for me to select my keepers. I would do the initial hybrid cross, then an f2 and really concentrate there at selecting individual plants to further my project-goals.

I think the sweet tooth strains would be another good indica dom choice. Makado, Grapefruit, and maybe a sweeter skunk selection if ur open to matching it with something on the sativa side. I think the heads had the right idea crossing her with the trainwreck, sour diesels v3 etc. if the flavors are your thing. From what you got listed the sensi star sounds really interesting to me, but the chem 91, og kush are no brainers IMO. Go for it, and have fun!!

C99 X RECON

I've got 10 female C99 growing right now and some some male/female Recon from DNA seeds. Going to cross the female C99 with the male Recon (LA confidential X Cannadential) The recon is a big yielder(600grms+/m2) that looks and taste awesome. I picked some seeds up in Amsterdam this summer after I smoked the Recon at The Grey Area. Hopefully it'll work out for me. This is my first breeding try. Are their any tips?
