Good jesus. Going back to basics really did you right, blaze1. Gives me hope for my own grow as I'm now leaning more and more towards soil as opposed to hydro or coco.

Very excited to see the conclusion to this :) :D :)

You have to pack the bags really tight but other than that they work just fine :) I've used them for many runs now and they work great for me!

blazeoneup,

just wanted to stop by and say hi. We have a very very similar setup, cool to see someone else doin the same thing.

Lookin great.

bet you have just as much fun watering as we do :jerkit:

Question to anyone that runs this mix or anyone that knows what they are talking about. :) I am about 5 weeks into flower and some of my girls leaves are completely yellow, entire plant is yellow (have been for about a week) Would it be ok to throw some floranova grow into the plain water (thinking about half strength) and water them with it? Thinking it is a nitrogen deficiencey and that is all I have that has nitrogen in it besides tiger bloom. Am I going to mess something else up by chance? Should I use the tiger bloom instead? Thanks for any help.

Blaze I've read most all your threds, your my HERO!! I've been cruzin this site for a year now watchin and learnin. I'm gonna do my best to copy your set up. I've got a 8'x5'x7.5' closet I'm turnin into my flower room and a old dresser that I'm gonna use as a seedling and clone cabbinet. I saved my first post for the most diserving and thats you amigo! GROW ON BLAZE!!!!! :joint:

Use the tiger bloom it should help prevent anymore yellowing off.keep
in mind what has yellowed off, will not turn green again. But what is
green shouldnt go yellowing before your ready for them too.

I have a question for you! Did you have lots of run off when you
done your watering? Because the trick is little to no run off during
feedings. when you have run off, Your basically washing away the nutrients
in the soil. Over a period of time if you water heavy each time and
get 10-20% run off and that run off gets drained off dumped
then over time you will flush away a good portion of the available
nutrients which in turn will cause a deff. Usually with this mix you
shouldnt see the yellowing off early on, Unless the above has been going
on. Keep that in mind, If the above isnt the cause, Then you can start
adding 1&1/2 cups blood and bone meal instead of 1cup.

Yes, I probably did have a bit to much runoff as the girls in the back are the ones with the problem. I can't get back there to tell how heavy they are (the bags) or how much water they need so it is a guessing game. I will add some tiger bloom to the damaged ones. Too bad some of them are completely yellow hopefully they bounce back, we will see I guess.

Thanks alot Blaze and your mix is great.
