Just do me one favor guys, look at the cover of ICmag.com, you will see Joeschmoe's picture of Purple Urkle, that picture and the plant you are growing is the same. No debates, just helping you understand what is what. I have the clone, I am growing it now... I love it, but I know what it is. I have a Purple Kush also. I can spot out Purple Urkle in anybody's garden, I'm just trying to help.

Let me say this, if I drove down the street in a Porsche with a Ferrari logo on the front, and the tag said FERRARI, what would you think? THAT ISN'T A FERRARI!

So therefor, THAT ISN'T PURPLE KUSH!

Now, Purple Urkle is a clone well worth having, I have it, I love it. Keep it, grow it, enjoy it, but don't call it Kush, that's a hell no.

just my 2 cents i hav only been lucky enough to smoke urkel once but the flavors n high compared to pk r quite diff so i see no problem to identify the 2 .but after growing purplewreck i can sorta understand all the confusion of misnaming n labeling .my pw looked very similar to bandit last pic caz the sativa side came threw from tw .there seems to be more info on urkel then p.k. so ive seen more urkel pics n growth patterns n the way the leaf forms short n stacked on the top of the bud like aero last pic of pk .my colas grew exactly that way .so im wondering n wanting too see this opk .is the urkel a possible hybrid ?

All I know is that around here, we call it Purple Kush-Menthol. It's ill - not sick... lol. J/K, Anyways, the flavor of this cut is amazing, the high is a totally different issue - AMAZING!. I'll post more about this strain later in my thread. I am trying to find the best phenos of Casey Jones, Pure Kush F'2s, Bubba Haze X Purple Kush, Bubba Kush X ECSD, Sour Diesel IBL X OG Kush and a couple other seeds for the moment. Poker - You arent in the middle of anything. We were just talking about the diffs in the cuts. So many floating around NorCali that I dont think anyone can say for sure anymore whats what unless they had it since the dark ages really. I see so many cuts Urkle x GDP, PK x Urkle, Purple this and that!! Everything!! All I know is whatever it is, its some fire and I mean fire! In another thread they swear that that pic is of a strain called Ultraviolet so go figure my man. Anyways Aero knows his shhhh so always fun sparring with cats like that. I dont think he minds either. Keep it respectful and fun and it works out.

i have 3 purple kush cuts and 2 green crack cuts i swapped,

i have 1 of the purple kushes 1 week into flower as a tester.

i didn't think there was more than one purple kush cut, whats the deal with all these other puple kushes?

Wow Aero much props to you on even acquiring the pk with you being so far away from the west coast. This is something i have been after for quite sometime with no avail but i think my luck might be changing soon, just dont want to jinx myself by talking too soon. Hopefully we can make the south as pot friendly as the west coast and have our own elites!

Well I thought I would chime in since I have the SR71 PK and I've smoked real "Urkel" and have the legendary Mendo Purps and they are all diff....

Here is my SR71 Pk straight from the club which is now Blue Sky so there should be no confusion..

looks a lot like what you floks are saying is Urkel and I agree it looks like what JoeSchmoe did but it's not...

Here we have Grand Daddy Purple or Purple Urkel they got mixed up but someone who was taking care of a friends club up north but they were the GDP that was shown in HT a while back...














The main thing I've noticed with the diff in PK vs PU is that the PK has more of a skunky dank smell to it and the PU smells like fucking candy! shit don't even smell like pot! I know anyone can whatever they want on here truth or not but my mom's buddy's nephew has been growing the Humbolt Purple Urple now known as Purple Urkel for 15yrs and the shit made me puke from smoking one bowl!! I had been a hardcore smoker for 10yrs at that time,I was given a 1/4oz of it and it was purple all the way through! it lasted me 2 weeks cuz the shit got me too stoned lol So far the only strain thats had the smell is the GDP/Urkel mystery I have going and the Mendo Purps that my boy has and I watch him do those right next to the SR71 PK and the MP were huge compared to the short little PK's and the MP was more purple,yielded more of course and finished in 7 weeks instead of 8! and from what Subcool says real Urkel is a 10 week strain and so far my GDP/Urkel gals got the chop at 7 1/2,8,&9 weeks cuz I've been poor and need smoke but I know they can go to 10 weeks and will be purple to the core and taste like candy!

It was a bagseed find from last spring. Since i've only been growin for 9 months, i had no idea about current strain types till i grew it out. Put one in my flower garden last spring & it got to be 8 feet tall. Walked some friends right by it & they didn't know it was even MJ untill i told 'em. It took a huge beating by Hurricane Ike - branches ripped right off & thrown around the yard, split down the middle to the ground, but with duct tape & a tall fence post i saved about 1/2 of it. It didn't purple up till the end. Got a couple of monster bonsai versions flowering now, so i'm finally getting a handle on dialing them in. They have a delicate lemon, skunk, pine smell & a kick-ass buzz.
I'm calling it purple kush no matter what anybody says (let the games begin...)
