what i want to know is this harmful to the human body?and how does it harm you ? by mixing with it or smoking herbs that had this inside that pot it was grown in ?
It could possibly hurt you by breathing dust of it. It could contain pathogens or even Mad Cow. When it is put in the soil, the microbes will decompose it and make it safe.
I wear a carbon filtered respirator when mixing dry ingredients, even perlite. Keeps my lungs happy.
Hell no. You should have more common sense than that.
Bone and blood come from the poultry and beef industry. If there was Mad Cow there would be bulletins all over CNN and the Press would love to get a story like that.
I would do as JR says about mixing dusty ingredients like perlite. A dust mask will keep a lot of that stuff out of your throat and lungs.
But Mad Cow???
Bone, blood, guano, kelp etc. don't feed the plant anyway. Bacteria eat that stuff and the stuff they excrete are what is taken up by the plant.
Bacteria guano is what we seek in organic growing.

There were a few deaths in England a few years back that were attributed to bone meal. I have no clue where you live...I'd suggest a bit of research on CJD and Mad Cow.
The chances are extremely slim, but they are there. You are most likely safe if you have a healthy immune system but it should be a priority protecting yourself.
I find it funny that people spend all the effort to grow organic pot so they aren't smoking crap, but don't protect themselves properly and inhale a bunch of contaminants anyway.
Just because it's organic doesn't mean it won't harm you.
^^^Vermiculite can contain small amounts of asbestos. Perlite dust can dry your lungs and cause pneumonia. Any dust can cause upper respiratory problems and infections.

Moooooooooooonnnnn!
I use well water. My pH is about 6.7. The worm castings turn it to 7.0 right away.
Stick around Brudda. We could use you here.
