she grows like a christmas tree main cola wants to tower well above the rest. at least 2 phenos have the same grow pattern, another is much shorter but same general shape
The mom is about 5 years old now. Her vigor seems to increase over time.
I have parent stock (problems popping), sister stock (pops in 24 hours), and selfed stock. I should be trying these but im really stuck on this one plant/
I have 2-3 phenos in the garden now, 2 of which I havent done much with.
Her smell and taste are off the charts. So strong that by week 3 i start questioning what I was thinking when I decided to grow it. I have to do like mr rogers when I get to the grow and change all my clothes and wear gloves because the smell. The smell and taste are so so strong and pungent that it commands a very veyr high consistant value.
Potency is very, very strong, but its very narcotic, which seals the deal for me, since its not a mindless narcotic smoke. It gets me thinking, but also keeps me stationary. The problem is its a skunk liek high, and the taste and smell are so good its very easy to over do it and find you lose a day or two.
It does however, day after day, without fail get me stoned asa mother fucker
very very few strains ever get me as high over any period of time
other than some haze, an original land race affie i used to rock in the late 90's was one of the few others that worked as promised day in day out
probaly not the best candidate for an all day smoke, but I have dictated that my medical disorders require massive amounts of THC to address them and it makes me happy, like it feel good to live, and thats not the norm for me due to neurological issues.
yeild on this particular mother however, is on the shit side normally .25 -.50 grams per watt, depending on whos growing it, and what its in.
I have pushed the envelope a little higher, and this grow I expect more. i am hoping with the new nutes, in an water system with aggressive super cropping I shoudl be able to get close to 1 gram per watt. If I can get over .75 id be happy as a pig in shit.
the sister stock does better with weight, but I want the overpowering smell, the garlic skunky version.
I think my next grow will require some new stock to be tried out because as I write this I realize she cant be the only one, the parent stock was better (color phenos), but whatever im a bit twisted, as if obsessing over one fucking plant wasnt enough
its funny you noticed the leaf curl , i didnt want to document the gorw because of it.
99% of the times, because of my non agro grow methods, my plants are super healthy, if nothing else.
she is super super hearty. This is the first time she has ever shown heat stress (both grows) but I didnt start AC until late july and the room was at least 110 degrees for a couple days
In fact I think its the new nutrient schedule because I doubled the aount of Big Bud on this my promix grow and did the normal amount in my water grow and the water grow I fucked up and turned off the fan, and the stayed on.
I baked the top, they bleached yellow white and are dead it was so hot 130 degrees plus. Maybe I lost 1/2 ounce of tops, but the rest looks fine AND not leaf curl at all
its very mite and mold resistant
My sense is that it wants to get really big, its so so healthy in so many ways I jsut cant imagine it not producing
even other ppl in other systems got very low yield with this one less than 1 lb per 1000 but I think snap training, tying down, and trying a new aggressive nute regiment will pay off
if i can get her to pull of better numbers it woudl be a amatch made in heaven
