Quick Breakdown of Ebb & Flow:

Some time ago on Raistlin's thread there was interest in Ebb & Flow setups. I promised to give an explanation of my setup when I broke it down to clean it.
Since most of those guys/gals post here also, thought this may be an opportune place to drop the data:


That's the 10 gallon reservoir pictured in the bathroom. It's time for it to get a good scrubbing...essentially it's just a big container for liquid.


The starting ingredient in the secret reservoir formula: Maxibloom. Follow recommendations on package for the amount of water you're mixing it with. You could use any hydroponic growth solution interchangably (of course...LOL).



Some "Green Fuse" metabolic booster is the next in the line of ingredients I mix...just 15ml for the whole shabang does wonders. This is totally optional stuff.


Mmmmmmmmmmmmm.....some "Sweet" mixed with some "Cal-Mag". All put in a syringe that I'm going to inject directly into the rest of the slurry....gotta love those micronutrients and carbohydrates.



Next comes the water pump....submerged in the nutrient bath and ready to get hooked up to the tube that brings water up to the "table" which plants sit on.


Mr. Airstone bubbling away making O2 for my gals....sitting deep in the reservoir.



This is the "table" it gets put right on top of the reservoir like lego pieces. You can see two doo-hickeys on the left side....the tall black thing is the drain...and the small white hole is the place where water comes flowing into the table from the water pump.

This is a picture of the underside of the "table". This is the tube that hooks the water pump up to the table...(the lighting is a bit dark, but you get the idea...)


Water flowing into the table from the reservoir. The pump is controlled by a timer. It's set to go on about 4 times a day. The pump is set to run long enough to let water completely fill the table to the level of the drain..run a bit...and then shut off. You just have to adjust the time to accomodate the size and depth of the table....

And that's it! Simple....effective...and turnkey. The reservoir gets topped off periodically if necessary and is cleaned/refilled completely at regular intervals. All ebb and flow setups are like this...just different shapes and sizes and a few different drains or intakes...​

I havent updated on my grow in a while, mainly because there hasnt been any reason to. I finally repotted after much too long in 6 inch pots and put all fourteen plants into 2 gallon bags. While doing this I noticed that all four of my MK ultra were showing sex. Good news is that they are all girls. None of the seven wonder diesel are showing yet, but only a few are keepers anyway. 3 phenotypes, one of which is a really nice indica/sativa mix, one looks like pure og kush, and the other is indica dominant which is vegging slow as hell.

Pictures tomorrow or this weekend, depending when I have more free time. I also cant remember if i posted this before, but I also added a strawberry diesel and northern lights plant which were gifted from someone who I originally gave the straw diesel clone to. Having favors paid back is quite nice, even more so when its unexpected.

I suggest neem oil on your clones.

you will not be able to destroy the mite infestation on that flowering plant, too many nooks and crannys for them to hide in. Maybe take the flowering plant into the shower and wash it off as best you can..

but your clones, get them with the proper dose, properly mixed also get Neem Concentrate so that you will make your own mix. also, when you pull down that plant spray the whole flowering room with the neem mix you need to kill all eggs not just live buggers

neem works great when properly applied no need for Super Chemicals

Avid, but not on the flowering plants. Just on plants that are in vegative growth stage....and then I'd give them a couple cycles of mom to clone, clone to veg, veg. to mom before I'd flower and consume any of the material.
It will kill your mites like they got Luca Brasi in the Godfather:
