this is the new age price for real good smoke....

it reflects the american $500 an o price....as the quality comes on a par with the USA so will the price....cheese/blues was the first landmark in named weed ....previously it was just good, bad or chronic...around 120 an o

shit i cant remember the last time i paid for weed ive got lots of mates that grow and well all give each other smoke (cause we pull at diff times) but its either skunk or jackflash or jack herer, sometimes when something different comes along ill buy an oz but thats been pretty rare lately hence me buying lot's of different strains look at my signature there all my strains, i think all my mates and their friends are going to flip out when i finish these strains and they try the end product. I will eventualy keep the best female phenos and definatly make some crosses cause im sure 90% of the people in my state havent tried more than 2 strains on my list.Sorry bout the ramble but i didnt realise people pay so much for weed over there, its 180 to 200 dollars an ounce in my state but anywere else in my country u pay upto 400 to 450!

I'd just refuse to pay those prices - saying that, no-one's ever dared charge me that much for weed. And the Thai is more than good enough to keep me going while I'm waiting for my own to finish. There's even a bit of black Afghan hash around at the moment - and it's clean too...

Yeah man , just heard some news considering Soapbar - where i stay it seems that folk are finally deciding to stop buying the Soap in favour of the erb, the guys that are pushing the Soap are getting worried so they're dropping the prices due to poor sales - £7.50 a Q i heard it's going for now, around 18 Months ago it was as high as £25 a Q (when the Soapbar drought was happening), this is the lowest price i've ever seen in my area for it, finally we may start seeing and hearing less and less of the dreaded Soap

Soapbar still exists? Must be ten years since I've even seen any. Those guys were run out of town backwards a long time ago, and the only hash that makes it these days is quality - the Afghan is very good, and full of trichs under a scope. Also hand-rolled balls of Moroccan and Red Leb pop in now and again.

But yeah, I'm sticking to my plan of replacing all the commercial strains in town with better ones, especially things like the Kentish Creme - that one has the potential to destroy, but it just needs the yield upping a little to be truly world-class.

my friends only do small amounts and they sell there amazing quality weed for a very high price.....everyone pays it....there is never enough to go about....

yeah it's still around unfortunately man, my cuz (older than me) who's been smoking for 15+ years still smokes it, for some reason he doesn't like smoking proper good erb, every time i reach harvest time i keep trying to persuade him to change from the Soap to the erb but doesn't want to, always offer to give him a a couple of Oz for free to smoke but wants to stick to smoking the Soap, i think it's beacuse he's smoked the same stuff for that length of time he doesn't want to change, hopefully 1 day he'll decide to give it up tho, i'll try and convert him to the good stuff come harvest time again

soapbar isnt the problem where i live, we just get covered weed and by covered i mean covered/soaked in shit, i dont know what they use but contaminated weed is still rife and im not talking about sand weed, they have found more subtle ways than that to bump the weight up its sick and the real weed around here is virtually non existent

A person i know who is abit clueless,just bought several ounces of this sprayed garb.Shame as he thought he had got some good green but it was a bit dry.On inspection with pocket microscope it was found to be sprayed!!!but it was done very well, to the naked eye you could'nt really tell it had been done.They rolled a bifta and it was obvious,no smell or a strange one at that and they could'nt tap ash off,i declined because as a grower i could'nt bare to touch the stuff.As for soap bar not seen that for a while seems to be hash from spain,not bad iff a little week..Grit weed was bought in west manchester..peace bb

That's unbelieveable - presumably you're not going to give them any more cuts? It took a while for the message to get through, but most 'friends' I've given cuts to have generally started to give me something from their harvests now - often only an eighth, but more sometimes - or at least a good discount on an ounce if I need more. I'm always amazed how tight folks can be...

i have a 420 scope but me and my friend often debate about the weed we just brought as to wether it is covered/sprayed or not, is there a definative way to tell under the scope? and i know wot u mean about ur clueless friend that is the problem around here, not many ppl can telll the difference between good and shit weed so if you have shit weed you can sell it no probs around here because ppl just think a weed is a weed

Zevix,don't know about a sure fire way to tell iff it has been sprayed but as soon as we looked at this it was obvious,looked like some sort of sugar or really small squarish type things....v.sttrange and really garb.Shame really as he used to grow and his missis kicked right off so he grow no more.
Hey elevatorman,assholes everywere,one guy i used to know thought that because he picked up the weed that entitled him to a handfull,even though he put no pound notes in allways makes me laugh cheeky or what,don't get me wrong a few biftas would have been gifted to the guy anyway but he used to just turn up with the bag already chonging on a bifta and it was light,needless to say he only did it once and nobody let him leave till said weed was back on the table.On gifting clones,there should be unwritten laws to who gets 1st dibs on the green from gifted clones.Some may think this unfair but iff you have put time and energy in to making awesome cuttings then some sort of recompense is only fair,not the whole thing just a little taste, just my two bits...peace bb

There's one way to sort it out - charge 'em hard cash for clones, and watch the blood drain out of their faces. The good people will pay up immediately if they've got any sense. I charged £10 per clone of 'average' strains (you know which I'm talking about), and £25 for 'specials', 'elites', call them what you will.

Most folks immediately dropped out, muttering shit about 'they would have sorted me out afterwards' etc. When I reminded them that they'd never given me so much as a spliff before, then the guilt kicked in. Now I do get bits sometimes, but it's a lot quieter now - which is fine by me.

Haven't seen any glass weed here since the first wave nearly two years ago now, and those guys went the same way as the soapbar crew...
