Greyskull's Perpetual Medical Coco Grow

Aloha to all. Thanks for checking out the Greyskull grow show.

Its been a while so I'll give ya'll a quick rundown of my op.
Clone Room = 60 site EZ CLONE + (2) 24" 18w flouros
Vegg Room = (2) 400mh, 3x6 tray + 40g rez
Flower Room = (2) 1K hps, (2) 4x4 trays + (2) 40g rezies
Nutrients = Canna Coco A/B, Rhizotonic, Cannazym, PK13/14, Boost Acellerator, Botanicare Cal/Mag & Sweet

I've been locked in my laboratory dialing in the room and my ladies, and I gotta say I am pretty proud of myself thus far. I am harvesting a 4x4 every 4-5 weeks, and am getting 500-650g per tray, depending on the lady.

My keeper cuts: Matanuska Thunderfuck, Bubba Kush, and Sour DieselxBX3.

I have to say I am rocking the MTF now! She is a really nice yeilder. This is the middle of week 7... still 10-14 more days to go, and I have 11 more just like her ripening up. 40" tall!










I am still dialing in the SDxBX3. I've successfully run her 3 times as side project to learn how she grows. This is my first major run (10 plants), and things look good so far. Here she is in a 5g container, middle week 5. I had to harvest her (and her sister) at the end of week 7 - still got 80g each!






The Bubba Kush is a 5 star plant, too. She needs to go 56-60days to be super sweet...but she is a nice cut. I am very glad to have her! This is her middle of week 5 in a 5g container. She too came down at then end of week 7... and also put out 80g's!







I recently acquired a few Purple Kush & GDP cuts, and so I'm running them through their paces to see if either is worthy of a spot under the sun.

Purple Kush. I am liking how she is looking thus far. She may be a keeper...




GDP. This one is weird, because she is very sativa-ish. The long thin fan leaves... the stretch when the photoperiod changed... So far she smells bubblegummy. I am very curious to see how she finishes.




I have some BK & SDxBX3 cuts in the cloner, 7 days in just starting to show their roots.... not sure what I am gonna do for the next dozen... we'll see in the next few days to come! Anyhow, I am looking forward to sharing with you the fruits of my labor. Keep tuned!

Looks like your killin it Greyskull...........How many plants per light on your flower tables are you runnin .....You`ve got other plants in flower in bigger containers under how much light............Killer work on 3 juicy strains ta play with........How do you run your perpetual setup........I mean do you have your tables a month apart in age ?.......I run flip rooms a month offset is why I asked ..............Anyways...........Thanks for the growshow........Oh........Be sure ta watch for salt buildup in your containers with coco ebb and flow as there`s no way ta flush from the top down.........Take care and good luck.........DHF........ .............

Howzit DEDHEDFRED. I run 12 ladies per 4x4 table, each table is under its own 1K. I mainly run the bigger containers ("side projects") in the lane between the tables where they don't have a dedicated light above... they are just catching the light the 4x4's miss (and whats being reflected off the poly). I try to keep the flower tables 4/5 weeks apart. Its manageable because I veg my girls 3wks... and rooting takes 7-14 days. "The Lane"


Speaking of flushing I was thinking I might use CLEAREX as directed this time instead of the H2O+SWEET 50ml/G for the flush. OPINIONS/THOUGHTS???

The SDxBX3/PK/GDP table is looking sugar coated, too! Due to come down late September... week 4 Day 5


I am trying to figure out what to do for the next dirty dozen.... I have 12 BKs, 14 SDxBX3s, & 6 MTFs rooting. Oh, and I have a 1g coco mom of each that I want to “move on”… Maybe 12 SDxBX3s on a table, and I’ll transplant each 1g coco mom into a 5g and run them in the lane (hand watered, of course). Tough descisions I have to make!

I threw a MTF in a 5g pot w/soil and sent her outside to flower 5/6 weeks ago. I HATE GROWING IN DIRT, AND I HATE GROWING OUTSIDE. CATEPILLARS DESTROYED MY BUDS!

Yo greyskull, fuck caterpillars!!! I have some seriously DANK outdoor plants right now, in their 4th week just starting to fill and those bastards are thrashing them. I am in there morning and evening picking them off.....Very fucking sad cuz I swear outdoor buds are sooo prime if they are untouched.....

Anyways everything indoor is looking sweet bro, love that BK!!! The PK you have does not look like the SR-71 PK which I always compare other PK's I see too.....The fans are usually huuge and the stem of the fans is usually really long so all the fans are really stretched out of the way of the main stalk. Your blades look very very sativaish, the SR-71 PK is probably some what of a stretcher and has some sati in her cuz that flavor aint from no indica I want to say. The GDP looks dank too, that one looks almost like some others I have seen but who can honestly tell for sure. Well I'll be around hope everything is working out for you man, keep it up! PEACE

All the indoor stuff looks great though. Can't wait to see what you decide on for the next round. You have great genetics so it should be interesting no matter which of your plants you pick.

Also, if I may, do you have any sort of filter on your return line? Do you use a pump to circulate you rez?

Yo rootfingers! I don't use any filters on the rez returns - they just dump back in. I do have (2) large GH airstones in each rez. It adds fresh O2 and circulates the solution. My rez temps stay between 72&74... and bubbly!

Aloha hazy! Glad you checked in. Thanks for the kind words.
In vegg (24hr light) I hand water my girls while they are in 16oz cups awaiting transplant; once in 8" pots I flood them every 12 hours.

My flower tables get flooded 3x during "lights on"- 15 minutes per flood. The first flood starts 1 hr after lights go on (8pm); second flood is 5hrs later (1am); final flood starts an hour before lights out (6am). I don't flood/feed when the lihts are off.

I am pretty stoked on my cuts, no doubt!

i have been lucky enough to run these strains in the past as well, your gonna like the smoke from all of them. i actually chose to drop the gdp when i had it side by side with purple kush, but you might like how it yields for you.

what up suckerrepellent! Dude they both smell sooooooooooo good. The GDP has developed a nice deep fruit aroma, while the PK is reminiscent of Fruity Pebbles... and both are fast growers. I don't know if either will yeild enough to warrant dedicated table runs, but I may keep them genetics for the head.

GROW UPDATES:
MTF week 8 day 4. Been flooding the girlies with 40g H2O+1000ml SWEET(Citrus) for 4 days loading them up with sugars. Tonight I am gonna drain their rez and refill with 40g H2O+750ml CLEAREX. Plan is to run the rez for 3 days (thru 9/2) and chop 9/3.





Previously my flush regiment was simply 40g H2O+1000ml SWEET (Berry) for 7 days before the chop. It has worked okay but want to try something different - maybe I'll have better results. Have read that the coco can be flushed in 3-4 days using H2O only - can anyone confirm or deny? IF ANYONE HAS ANY THOUGHTS/OPINIONS ON CLEAREX & MY FLUSH PLEASE POST 'EM!

*update* I decided at the last minute to just let the rez of water & sweet stay - my leaves are starting to yellow up nice and the buds are looking about ripe. Hopefully the Citrus Sweet plays nice with the MTF

I've got my next run planned out... the table will start holding (not flooding) a 5g coco pot each of Bubba, SDxBX3, & MTF; adding 12 little Bubba Kushes about a week later*. Unfortunately I won't be vegging the little BK as much as I would like (to 20"), but the 3 5g plants are 20"+ rigt now and I am hoping they help compensate yeild-wise for the lack of grow time I can allot the little BKs. Gotta keep them tables moving - people need their medicine!
*once the BKs are added the 5gs wil be dropped into "the lane". The 5gs will be hand watered.*

The BK are in the tray-o-cups on the left; the SDxBX3 on the right.


In the meantime I will be vegging out the SDxBX3's while they wait for the next table to open. THESE LADIES WILL GET PLENTY OF GOOD HARDY 24hr/DAY VEG TIME... and they need it! This is my slowest vegger, by far; but that's okay cause this group will slide right in behind the SDxBX3/GDP/PK group (update on that group below) nice and big and bushy. That's the plan, anyways!

The SDxBX3/GDP/PK table is progressing nicely. Week 5 Day 4. I AM GOING TO LET THIS GROUP GO A FULL 9WKS/63DAYS. Will post a few pics of the table after my battery recharges! Definately doing well... I love how the GDP & PK smell. BUT THE SDxBX3 IS THE BEST & MOST RESINOUS BY FAR!

Happy Happy Joy Joy Happy Happy Joy........Ren and Stimpy`d be proud of yo rez Bro.... ....Dewd.......I`ve not flushed nutes outta my coco grows any sooner than the last 3-5 days of their life but I use lower nutrient concentrations than most so it doesn`t take as long I suppose........Honestly , I`ve never been a proponent of flushing period cuz I go for the max weight achievable on every run and if I deprive em of anything that would help em swell up all the way to the bitter end then I`m not doin my job.........Don`t get me wrong....All my rez`s get topped off with R/O water after every feed and by the time they finish my ppm`s are in the low 2-300`s but the drying and curing process takes all the residual salts and shit out with the chlorophyll over the next several week process in my lil corner of tha world.......That`s what`s worked for me for over 12 yrs. and I ain`t changin shit........Greyskull .....Your stable of bitches makes me envious Bro.....You keep up the good work.........Peace.......DHF...... .........
