After you wade through the BS, there's lots of good info in this current thread:

http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=95524

you might want to take a look there and see if any of your questions are answered. Using a flip flop means two flower rooms. There's probably a way you could get one fan to do the job, assuming it is a big enough fan, but you'd probably spend more in ducting and controls than you would if you just bought another fan.

I have read that thread :)
Two flowering rooms is the plan:)

The fan I have is a Canfan 8"ho 750cfm I Belive if only 2 lights are on at a time I think it will work I just have to worry about light getting into the room that's off....buying a 2nd fan is not a option right now...

The rooms are going to be built in a 20 x 20 garage I have a 6" canfan for intake to the garage then the 8" out after it passes the lights this should keep the garage cool for a/c's to run I'm thinking 16 plants per 1k = 64 that leaves 16 for veg and 16 clone's 3 mom's = 99

Goal is harvest every 2-3 weeks

I just put two 600w cool tubes on a 6" "T" fitting/duct then to a 90* elbow then 5" of hard duct then a 457 cfm Vortex fan then a carbon filter. With the filter on, the cab got up to 98* - and that's with MH bulbs. HPS will be even hotter. With the filter off, I can keep the temps five degrees hotter than ambient temps. In my other cabs, the temps are only 1-2 degrees above ambient. Everything is 6".

While a "Y" connection will be much more efficient than a "T", they still aren't that great from an aerodynamic standpoint. You might need to stop the air flow from the unused light in order to sufficiently cool the one being used. Accomplishing that could be as sophisticated, and expensive, as electric dampers on timers to as simple and cheap as a plastic coffee can lid that you manually move at each cycle change.

Now I've gotta go fine tune my light vents, lol. The only ducts I could find are the sleezey crap from Home dePot. The ducts are only rivited so they leak like a sieve; I'm hoping that duct taping everything and making it leak proof will improve the efficiency enough that it'll work. I wanna flip my damn plants!!!

I just finished 2 vertical flip rooms w/1800 watts in each that`ll help yas out 00420........3-600`s on top of each other with 64 plants on all 4 walls in my version of Heath Robinson`s vertical racks but I made the rooms semi octagonal..........4 levels of 4 plants in a sort of octagon shape and the corners have no plants but panels covered in reflective material..........It`s definitely something you should entertain as an option.............Peace............DHF.........

64 then 64 for the 2nd room is over my 99 limit and leaving me no room for moms/clones ect....

i thought about 600's but i have 8 1000watt ballast 8 new bulbs just setting in my garage why would i go buy new stuff  i just moved from my old spot n starting over and going on my own not growing for multi med user's like in the past other then me & my ol'lady i thought about vert but its really hard to do it in stages like i want to i want a harvest every 2-3 weeks.... :rasta: if i was going to do vert id setup my coli's there the best imo but i dont want the #'s.

i dont think i want to "Y" or "T" i was thinking of running the 2 rooms side by side with the lights hung 2feet from the divided wall so it would run from "outside" of the room too the first set of light's ( about 6 feet ) then 90* to the next room with a 4 foot run then 90* back to the 2nd set of lights and then back outside of the room and out the window this way it push air out of the garage.... i have 2 8,000 btu a/c's too cool the rooms but i have to move the hot air that they put out into the garage as i said i have a 6" intake to the garage as well.....

i know the 8,000btu a/c are borderline small but winter is coming so i should be ok really it need 10,000 but thats not what i have....
