@Bean: Yeah I'm force-flowering outdoors, I picked the idea up in Paddi's thread.
He grew some erarly girls out in his greenhouse and put them on a 12/12 regimen. The reason I'm doing this was that I was a bit impatient with my Bublicious plants showing me sex so I made a darkness-tent and put them inthere for 12 and then 12 outside again, got results within 2 weeks and decided to keep em on 12/12 as to not disturb them.

@Sammet: Yeah too bad Stumpy has got to take these hits of badluck.. ya live ya learn right? and it was only one top, i've checked yesterday and so far all is good (knocks on wood)HB#2 perked right on up although all of my Mandala's are still showing me yellowing leaves, starting from the bottom...me thinks I need to find some more/better/different supplemental food-stuffs for ma ladies..

I know I need to keep an eye on them in those last crucial weeks..good thing i've got you guys reminding me and helping me out...I think the reason Stumpy started to rot might have something to do with my inpromptu darkening method: a black plastic garbage-bag...and I pulled the ties at the end to keep the critters at bay...that might have created a nice humid atmosphere inthere and voila: budrot! I'll consider it a part of my ongoing canna-education: Lessons learned.

Yes that pic was the only rot on Stumpy..crosses fingers..I did take another look yesterday and couldn't find anything more so hopefully that was the one and only case of budrot.

Hey Dr D!
It's been kinda humid here and I'd used a ghetto darkening technique called "the black plastic garbage bag" to darken Stumpy since she no longer fit in my darkness shelter..and I drew those drawstrings on the end of those bags tight to keep critters from crawlin' inthere at night..voila, perfect conditions for mold/rot to appear..

I've taken some closer looks to find out what it's going to be, cannot see anything yet therefore i'm susppecting HB#1 is gonna be a girl..

I've taken some serious closer looks here too and i'm seeing little ball-type thingies developing so..i'm thinking HB#2 id gonna be a boy but i'm not sure yet...

Not showing me any sex either..im thinking Safmix is gonna be a girl too..

Stumpy

Inspected her for bud-rot, didn't find any, trichs are turning colour, from clear to milky haven't spotted any amber trichs yet

And unfortunately for me, BLady has suffered from some budrot too:

I've snipped the affected part off...Also checked trichs on her and there's some ambering going on..I'm thinking Blady is going to be chopped this Saturday that will be her 60th day and I'm thinking she's ready..I sneaked a little testerbud from her today, speed-dried in the microwave..Lets see how she smokes..

I end this entry with a bit of sad news...the person I used to call my direct boss/chief/manager has passed away and his funeral is tomorrow..This was a man whom I really liked, he always took care of me with all the issues I might have had so the very least I can do for him is pay my respect.
Sometimes it's very hard to believe people pass on, he was just as old as my dad anyways..till the next update

I'm not sure what to think of that Vaporstar....it does toke but with a weird aftertaste..like i'm tastin' the glue they used to put all the wooden parts together?? and tastes kinda dank too, when i smoke the same weed in my waterpipe/bong without the vaporstar I do not taste that weird glue/dank bassment type taste..
The bong itself works great, especially with such a large bowl man!! Ya can get LoAdEd that way man ..
Got some new conical screens too, I thought these things were gonna be bigger then they actually are, they do not fit too good in those big bowls, so that's why there's two screens in that one picture..the conical one and a normal one on top of that to prevent ma weed from falling through..
Tomorrow is chopday! (for BLady that is)

They're gonna be in my drying tent for about a week I think..After that initial drying period i'll be putting em in the stash-jars and burp those for awhile..I'm hoping I can wait a lil longer this time around and give em a decent cure.LOL

Thnx man, is Mandala back in stock on S-Bay or S-Boo? 'Cause I thought they weren't gonna do wholesale anymore and solely use their own website for sales??, that's just what i picked up here and there over at the boards here..I wouldn't mind getting a few more packs of any Mandala genetic, although right now i'm thinking my Safmix is a White Satin...and I'm liking everything about it so far, speed of growth is fenomenal..it's showing me pistils already and I'm really liking those huge fanleaves..the other two Mandala's the Hashberries, I'm not too sure... i;m suspecting HB#2 to be male but now it's starting to look like HB#1 might be male aswell...the longer they take in showing sex though the higher the likelihood of these two showing female though..at least that's what i've experienced so far..

Exactly!! And I really do not want to stress those two undecided HB's by force-flowering them anyway..Since the weather overhere has turned rather wet..and the plants are in a greenhouse kinda set-up with not so much wind blowing through..although when the wind blows currently it really storms outside...I'm not sure whether I should be worried more but i'll have another look this weekend.

Thnx for the compliments!, eventhough I didn't get as much as I did from my one indoorharvest..But that's because both the plants were affected by mold @ the end of flowering and because well..*scratches head*Maybe because Blady wasn't in a full-on sunny spot she might have missed some sun-inspired development?? Or maybe I just took her too early??She just didn't yield as well as Stumpy. And I know the reason for Stumpy's "poor" yield: I snapped her head off , so I was actually pleasantly surprised by how much bud I got of Stumpy. Since I don't own a scale I cannot give ya exact nrs and Im horrible at guesstimating.
O wow...just been smoking some Stumpy buds..can ya tell i'm high yet?? Although i'm stoning nicely too..
About that HB#2; I'm suspecting it to be male actually.. I'm hoping it isn't because I've got no place to put it separated from the other two..but I'd still like some HB seeds though..Time will tell, I'll prolly be able to sneak in a visit tomorrow and see what's up

About that verdict:
Right now i'm nicely ramblin' on some Stumpy bud high and stoned somehow..
I haven't sampled any Blady just yet..but I'm thinking i'm gonna like em bot..:wink:

I've got a question for all of ya though...I've dried these buds for a total of 8 days and put them in jars..i'm burping 'em every day for 10-30 mins or so..BUT! (and it's a big but) the stems didn't exactly snap when i trimmed and sometimes cut the buds lose..Even after speed drying a couple of buds on top of my modem the stems still do not snap..Which noobie curing mistake am I making here? Please help? Or am I worrying over nothing and everything's just fine..
