well fam i think this the best batch i ever grew,honestly hands down.i went bouncin around smokin kats out today and all they could say was how good the weed tasted and could i get them some and smells super fruity.needless to say i was pattin myself on the back,and hidin an ear to ear grini couldnt even keep my eyes open by time i rolled back home.i came in and fell in a coma at like 10 pm woke up at like 3:30 am got stoned again off a couple bong hits and man im lovin bein me today!!!!thanx for all the support in here man nothin but love for all you guys...and gals Pixie!!!

bro you exactly described gals! and i believe if you look in my new year new rooms thread,when i first smoked some of her i said the same thing about the taste,cept i think i said it also has like a kushy taste like in the back or the after taste whatever (i suck at describin tastes and smells and such).
wow bro a qp a plant amazing and very inspirational !!! i got, i think it was 84 grams off the first one i put in flower. i only put the one the first time cause i knew just about nothin about the plant,just got it on a trade for somethin else.lucky me its a bad mf!

Yeah Y, I still don't know how I wound up with the pinnacle of marijuana and let her go...it was out of pure paranoia and I'm so isolated (no one knows what I do) that I had no one to gift her to at the time.
For such a large yielding plant my Ogre was a light eater and preferred a little extra cal-mag to keep her happy. I always used the general hydroponic 3 part mix. The Lucas formula always worked well with my SS.
If I remember right, I would harvest right around 55-60 days **unless I was out of smoke then it would be more like WHENEVER**. Something strange happened over a few years time though...I did noticed that my yield got smaller and smaller with Ogre. I'm not sure if it was caused by genetic drift (probably not) or it picked up a disease or something. Even with the yield decreasing over time, she is still to this day the largest yielder I've ever had and I've had some bigguns!
Man thanks for those pics! Those leaves...that structure...leaves no doubt as to the lineage of this plant. It is a dead ringer for the SS that I once grew.

i got some decent tops the firs plant and i topped her and took clones a few times.
but now i have some goin topped and some not,it seems the ones not topped are gonna be like a big ass bud from top to bottom wth a few side branches.
i guess my question is should i top her or not.
yeah i noticed she wanted to finish fast at around day 50 she actualy looked like she could go at any time,already really orange and frosty as all hell.i use cal-mag so im good there.but i use ff nutes all of them the beasty,the cha-ching,the open sesame,as well as the big bloom,grow big,and a lil tiger bloom.
im not really familiar with the gh nutes,are any of what im usin similar to the lucas or do you think its worth the while to go get some?

I found that my SS yeilded more when I didn't top . This usually isn't the case for me but I always got exactly what you said with my un-topped SS...one large cola with few side branches. My SS seemed to be resistant to mold to. The main cola was always masssssive (I mean like SoQuick size) and my humidity was usually high (above 60%) and she never once got budrot or PM even when other strains next to it did (Chronic and BigBud).
Sinse I'm a hydro man, I can't give you any advise on growing her in dirt.
The GH flora series and the lucas formula probably won't apply to you...I may be wrong but I know nothing about growing in dirt.
My first years of growing were in 3 gal pots with a perlite/vermiculite mix, crappy wal-mart nutes and a 150 watt home depot security light. I never had good results with dirt farming. I never really understood hydroponics either so I was stuck with my brown thumb up my ass.
One day back in 98' (I think) I was reading on a cannabis forum and someone named "MiaStoner" posted a thread of his hydro bubbler. For some reason the pictures made everything click with me. I finally understood the concept. Sounds crazy now...how could I have been so dumb, if elementary school kids can understand hydroponics why can't I?
My main hurdle in understanding hydro was "how in the f*ck do the roots stay alive under water"? Well that one post cleared it all up...I went hydro and never looked back.
I'm happy to say that I now pull 8kw grows without breaking a sweat...haven't done one in a lil while though. Kids kind of put a damper on things. I'm planing on 10k on my next run.
Oh anyway...my point was Ogre don't know dirt!!

my Grandma passed last night and shits kinda fucked up righ now.
honestly i feel like a piece of shit cause i cant seem to get the tears to roll.but after losin my dad last year nothin seems to get to me quite like that.
my grandma was a wonderful lady she will be missed dearly.
sorry if im not able to get at all ur threads for a few days...
ya know im super glad i have this hobby i think workin in there is gonna be the only few minutes for me to chill and get the bullshit outta my mind for a while...

I know how you feel about droppin a tear, man. You don't have to cry or show emotion to have sorrow in your heart.
Believe it or not this is what helps me feel better when friends or family pass...
on my next batch of clones I separate the biggest, best girl and set her aside. She get's the name of my passed love one and is taken care of like gold. She get's all of the extra attention. When chop time comes I make sure say some kind works and I only toke on her by myself (she's special and for you only). Sounds dumb but it always makes me feel better.
Luckily I've only had to do this 3 times so far.
Keep your head up, chill for a bit and relax. Get back to us when you feel up to it. We'll be here when you return.

wow thanx guys.grandma was sick like the last few weeks,i was just hopin she would be ok ya know.i know shes feelin better now and not sufferin anymore.she was all fine then she fell hit her head,bleeding on the brain lost grip of who her family was and all the way downhill from there in like 2 weeks.she will be in my prayers and thoughts always.shes the only person ever took me on vacation as a shorty her and my grandpa really looked out for me when i was a youngster.now they are together again after all these years.
