thx for the tip lilman but I don't think it's the same. Slips states it as an indica. This one is much more sativa.

Hey SF, here's a post I found about Amnesia haze in a thread from the Soma forum.
I've read this in a few other posts as well so It's probably somewhat right.

by the way...arjan from ghsc in his video on youtube about arjan haze#3 says that it is from laos....and it is a midget sativa...heard of it...here it is in feminized form from my last purchase while in the dam
the others are ww, wr, and el nino...all feminized since don't want to breed for now.....just want buds and trim...lol

Here's a new report. again an unknown strain.
Appearance: There were really only popcorn buds in a whole bag of 350g (not mine). I didn't see a single decent sized bud in there. They are nice and frosty though but not really compact. Looks reasonably good.
Smell: The smell is a little bit skunky but has a fresher hint to it then I'm used of most skunks. It smells pretty strong too.
Taste: The taste is skunky.
Potency: 6.5/10
High: This ganja has a nice high. Very balanced, I really coudn't say if I'm high or stoned. It doesn't come on too fast and hits you gently instead of smacking you in the face. Which is nice for daytime smoking. Though this strain is at least as enjoyable in the evening.
Overall Score: 7/10 This weed is really nice for smoking during the summer.

It's about time we had some extensive smoke reports about Core's strains!
I was gifted 3 strains Crash Test , Pollen Chuck and Mongrul. I do not have a report for the mongrul yet because of the fact I had 7/7 males. Still Have 3 seeds left so maybe sooner or later I'll try them out.
I'm really happy I got these strains and consider myself very lucky. I had never had such quality genes in my previous grows, mostly because of the fact I only grew nirvana en bagseed before that lol.
Well let's start off with the Crash Test which is my personal favourite of the bunch. It's a cross between Soma's Amnesia Haze and Peewee, which is a cross of Purple Bastard & White Widow. I'm pretty sure the Amnesia is not the same version as the ones I'm used to smoking (Soma changed the recipe a few times) but I like it really much nevertheless.
Out of 5 seeds I got 3 nice phenotypes. Trying to be original I named them A, B and C. B hasn't been harvested yet so you'll get that report later.
Crash Test A
This pheno was a bit indica leaning though it still had some sativa features. Very dense buds and a strong odour in flower and in veg. Very beautiful plant and really frosty.
Appearance: The buds itself have a very nice caly to leaf ratio and are as I said pretty dense with some browninsh and orange hues. Big brown and orange hairs and nicely swollen calyxes. The resin production is excellent and pretty concentrated on the flowers. The trichomes are pretty large as well compared to other strains. Looks great!
Smell: The smell is really interesting. There's a fruity part which reminds me of mangos and pineapples. There's also this hint of ammonia in the ripe buds. These two features I think come mostly from the Amnesia. Then there's also a widow like kind of thing to it whic his hard to describe. The smell really develops during flower and cure.
Taste: The taste is mostly like the smell. A bit fruity and amnesia like with widow undertones. Very tasty and the amount of trichomes really makes it strong tasting.
Smoke: The smoke at first is a little hard on the throat when exhaling. But only right after drying. This really fades away with curing. It's not a light smoke it feels pretty concentrated.
Potency: The potency of the buds at 70 days is very nice. But left to 80 days I think it could be pretty devestating 7.5/10.
High: To say the least. This one really smacks you in the face. After a few tokes you allready feel it rushing up to your head with great speed. The effects are pretty hazy, definetely not clear and somewhat balanced. It's a little bit couchlocky though really psychedelic and can make your heart beat pretty fast sometimes. IMO this is one of the best strains for smoking and eating during psychedelic sessions. There was one downpart which I menitioned earlier in core thread which was the duration of the high. After a cure and a bit more flowering time I didn't notice this any more and find that it at least an average duration. About 1.5 to 2hours.
Overall Score: 8.5/10 Well I really really like this strain and especially this pheno. It's good yielding, not hard to grow, tastes fantastic and has a great high. Great job Core, this strain is completely to my likings and will remain in my closet for a while.
The pictures were taken right after drying so the buds aren't cured yet in the pics. I forgot about taking pics after cure but will do it next time.

This pheno was lower yielding though looked even more frosty then the A pheno. But because of a little screw up the plant wasn't healty enough to really beat the A pheno in potency I think. This one hasn't been cured yet so the report now will only be on the uncured product.
Appearance: The buds are a little less compact then pheno A but still okay. The amount of resin is great but I'm sure it can be better. The hairs on this one are a little redder then pheno A.
Smell: The smell on this pheno did not have any fruity aspects to it. The main thing was this haze like smell together with something musky which reminds me of some afghani. I like this smell and with some cure I'm sure it will even be a lot better.
Taste: The taste is also hazy and a bit musky.
Smoke: Pretty much the same as pheno A. Even a little less harsh on the throat.
Potency: 7/10 I expected a bit more on this plant but I'm sure this was due to a grower error and will improve next time.
High: The high again is pretty much the same as pheno A. It's a little bit headier and seems like it could take a lil longer.
Overall score: 7.5/10 Well this strain would have gotten 8.5/10 if it would have been grown as properly as pheno A. Also it is not cured so the high taste and smoke aren't optimal yet.
Pollen Chuck A
The Pollen Chuck is a cross between Sour Diesel and Peewee. I was keen to trying this since I had never smoked anything dieselish before. Again this is a report on the uncured product.
Appearance: The buds on this plant were big but a lot fluffier then let's say the crash test. A bud about the same size came out only a little more then half in weight compared to CT. The frost is very good and surpised me because it didn't look as good on the plant as is does dried.
Smell: The smell of the pollen chuck I find somewhat hard to describe as it doesn't smell like anything which I can compare it to. In flower the smell was really fresh and lemony and dried it gets a more sour, allmost soapy smell.
Taste: The taste is pretty herbal but nothing too special really I find.
Smoke: This smoke is lighter then the CT and less harsh.
Potency: 7/10 The potency is nice, but not really comparable to the CT.
High: This one has an interesting high. It comes on reasonably slow compared to CT which is a good thing for smoking during the day. It's a bit more mellow too and really nice to relax with.
Overall Score: 7/10 This is a nice smoke though it is not what I expected it to be. If I'm able to find a better pheno this could easely go up to 8.

Hey man I'm lovin the beats and the smoke reports, keep them coming for sure! I'm takin a trip across the pond in august and want to hit up some coffee shops while I'm over there. I dont really wanna do the Amsterdam thing as that seems pretty played out and you seem to have a good knowledge of the shops in other areas so I was wondering what one shop you would say is the most worth visiting? I'm a sativa lover like yourself and I love your description of the Amnesia Haze from Pasja, so I think that shop might be the one, just wondering if you have any input? Thanks bro, happy smoking and keep those reports coming, the buds look beautiful!

hi Scotch! Well to be honest I can't really say much about amsterdam since I've never been there. Haven't heard to much good from my mates over there though. I think it's a lovely city to go to besides the coffeeshops. And I'm sure there must at least one reasonable shop in the dam.
I myself have more experience with some cities closer to the border with belgium since that a lot closer for me. I've been to Geleen, Rosendaal, Eindhoven, Breda, Bergen-op-Zoom, Tilburg and Maastricht. And I can definetly say I always enjoy my stay the best in Tilburg. Much more laid back.
I find it quite a peaceful town compared to some others on that list and have found that local authorities are a bit more relaxed as well.(not sure this is true though, just from my experience). The major even wants a really big ganja field to supply the whole town of tilburg. He allready has this plan for several years but it's not really possible because of some legality matter.
Tilburg is not a big as the dam though so it is a bit different to go to though. There's a good concentration of shops in the town centre which are mostly not more then a 5 to 10 minute stroll away from each other.
My shop of choice was the pasja not particularly because it's such a good shop but because it was the easiest to go to if you were just passin by. They don't have the biggest menu and it doesn't change that often but you could allways be sure of great quality and reasonable prices. Other great shops are Maximilliaan, Toermalijn and Africa. There's 13 shops total I think and they all stock some great things.
All coffeeshops in Tilburg are currently ignoring the new coffeeshop smoking ban in order to protest which I find a good thing to. No smoking tobacco in coffeeshops? Allmost everyone mixes there weed with tobacco in holland and belgium so thats really bad for the shops.
I'm to baked to come up with more info right now (just got out of bed and lit a fat one) so just ask if you want to know anything else.

hmm good question. I speak dutch,french and english so I don't really have any trouble getting around holland. Where I come from most people don't really have to much trouble communicating in english. Considering I only live about 100km from the dutch border I think it won't be too much of a problem there too. If there would be one language besides dutch they'd understand best I'm pretty sure it's english (or sometimes german). Hell look at arjan from ghs

Got a report which has been lying around for some time. There were more but I forgot to take pictures and it's been to long to really recall the details.
Appearance: The buds look okay. They're not super tight and don't have the greatest calyx to leaf ratio but it's all reasonable.
Smell: The smell is pretty skunky and pungent with a little fresh herbal hint to it.
Taste: Mostly skunky
Potency: 6.5/10
High: Good allround high. Nothing really special to it but nothing bad either.
Overall score: 6/10 Well this is good weed. But it just has nothing special to it. I enjoyed smoking it though.

Good question Nmettler! I totally forgot mentioning that in the start of the thread.
I allmost allways smoke my herbs in joints. Allthough I know this is not the best method I find it the most enjoyable to do. It takes some time to do instead of just a few hits from a bong or pipe. Much more chill imo.
I roll my joints with about 0.35-0.45g of herb and a tiny bit of tobacco. About 25% of the mixture. I don't smoke cigarettes though.
In my region allmost everyone smokes their joints with tobacco, accept for a few growers and older tokers. But I'm allways disgusted about the large amounts of tobacco some people use. A whole sigarette for one 0.3g spliff?!
I'd like to smoke without tobacco but I'm just not used to it and find it difficult to change my habit. I'll start vaporizing in a year or so and hopefully never smoke any tobacco again.
I'll drop a few pics of me rolling a spliff next time I drop by.
