Fully Baked's Outdoor Adventure

I'm feelin lazy today. Nursing a hangover, so I only got 2 more plots up. 24 in the great outdoors now with 2 more plots to go. 4 at one and my big girl at the other.

I decided I wasn't going to amend the soil at all, just let them do their thing. For my big girl, I'll probably dig a nice hole and fill it up but that's all. I decided digging 28 holes is entirely too much work. Especially if it ends up being wasted on some plants with balls...

Good luck for everyone else planting.. It feels damn good to get them outside and get that felony out of my closet. I know they love it out there much more than their little shit lights.

Hey fellows

I haven't been out to the plots since they were planted. But I do have a little something else going in the meantime to hopefully keep some interested...

BB and NH scrog. I've never done a scrog before, so I'm kinda winging it by the seat of my p[L]ants. This is sitting under 69 watts of CFL's for now. I'll up the wattage come flower time...

(BB on the left and NH on the right. The NH just happened to show her sexy female preflowers a day ago)

None of these are clones... Gonna be pulling some males when the preflowers show up.

Clones still have yet to go out ... :joint:

Here's a shot of 7 that were just rooted.

And theres 10 more clones on the way as of now...

Here's mama...

Thanks for checking it out everyone, best of luck all the way around!

I went out and checked on one plot real quick. Had 4 plants there, one was bitten in two below the cotyledon's so I'm minus 1 plant already.

The others had packed on another 3 nodes, but lost most of the bottom fan leaves due to cold. There were some white streaks on the leaves that hadn't fallen off yet. Aside from a few of those, the top 3 nodes were nice and green and healthy. None there had started flowering, so I think I'm in the clear for now.

They made it through the roughest part of the year and are gonna start shooting up soon.

Best of luck to everyone outside and inside,

Just flipped my scrog to 12/12, and took a BB clone. Still waiting on another 7 clones to root. Then they, along with their other 10 sisters, will all be going outside.

Here's my big mama. She will be going outside tonight :spank:

Thanks everyone for checkin in...

She's gone now... Brings a tear to my eye

Had a hell of a time figuring out how to get a big ass plant like that outside without being seen. So here's a tip for any of you that need to do some stealth moving.

I couldn't fit her in any of my duffel bags, so I decided to try this. I put a cage around her and stuffed all the branches on the inside of the cage. Kinda like this...

Now to wrap with garbage bags...

I added a few more and duct taped them together, and she made it out there in broad daylight without being hurt whatsoever.

Gonna be digging her hole later today or tomorrow.

Peace, love, and mary,

A little update here. Not much going on in my neck of the woods. Still rooting clones and letting the rain take care of the rest. Here's a couple shots I took this morning for any of you out there. :joint:

This is my first attempt at a scrog. Flipped the lights to 12/12 last night.

WITH THE GLOW...

THE LITTLE ONES WAITING FOR ROOTS...

THE LITTLE ONES THAT JUST ROOTED...

I'll eventually get some outdoor shots, but I haven't seen any of the plots since they were planted (Aside from a quick walk past of one). A no maintenance type deal, so whenever I do get out there with a camera I'll get some up. Until then you'll have to deal with the scrog pics lol :headbange

Peace,

Just got back, all sweaty and smelly now. Good news and bad news, as expected.

Well start of with the bad news here...
- Some nasty little critter thinks its funny to go around and dig up my wonderful MJ plants. Not even taking a bite, but simply digging out whole plants. grrr I ended up losing 4 total. 1 is critical wounded and has been bonsai-ed by, I can only assume, the same little critter.

- I couldn't even find 2 of my plots. I didn't take any of my notes out there with me, so I was just going from memory. I'm sure I'll find them, just need my trusty notebook...

- A lot of the vegetation is outgrowing my plants, and they are simply stretching for light. I tried to clear away some of this overgrowth, but those damn weeds sure do grow fast.

And now the good news!!
- For those two plots I didn't find, I found twice as many. (4 for those of you that are real baked right now) :rasta:

-At those 4 plots, I have 3 confirmed females, and the rest are unknown. I saw two that look like males, but we'll see where they end up in a few weeks when I go back out to sex em all.

- I top dressed all the plants I found with blood meal. Hopefully they like that. I've never messed with top dressing anything, always liquid feed. So we will see how this ends up...

Here's a pic of each plot. Maybe I'll post pics with the plants circled later. For now let's play where's mary (only she isn't wearing blue jeans, a sweet hat, and a red and white shirt)

PLOT 1 (4 in this one)

PLOT 2 (2 in this one)

PLOT 5 (4 in this one)

PLOT 6 (3 in this one)

Just got back from the plots. No pics this time but some verbage none the less. The only times I've gone out to visit them, I've posted here afterwards. Now, with my minimal effort I have 7 healthy girls, 1 unknown, and 1 very sickly unknown that probably won't make it. All the girls are between 2 and 4 feet and look extremely healthy.

I've only had 1 dig up since the blood meal was put out at the plots, and that plant was already almost a goner from the previous dig. Needless to say, I'm excited :jump: .

I also started 2 more plots with a total of 9 plants from the clones I took pics of back on the 8th of June. 1 Clone looks terribly and I fully expect it to die. The other 8 look strong and are taking off. Clones are all around 2 feet with time release osmocote fertilizers and peat moss covering them up. Hopefully the peat keeps the soil underneath fairly moist for the little ones.

Totals come out to 15 or 16 healthy, confirmed females. I have a strange feeling I'm gonna hit that elbow benchmark :violin:

Also had to pull 3 more males, and took the nicest two to clone and hopefully get some beaners latter this season. They were looking real wilted when I cut them to take the clones, so we will see if they take in my cloner...

Since then, I've been real busy though... I can't stay away from my lights and perfectly controlled grow inside. So I went ahead and build one of these...

The girl flowering was the big one in the scrog. The clones on the left were cut off my blueberry girl that use to be in the scrog. I ditched the whole screen idea, it was a pain, so tied the rest of the branches down.

Here's some eye candy.

animals like to dig up fresh dirt. not to mention adding blood meal to the dirt will make even more animals come because they think there is food. my advice would be to fence them up. i had always dealt with dig ups because i was too lazy to fence them up. this year i bit the bullet, bought some green plastic fencing and have yet to loose one plant or have one dug up.

Fencing is not an option. The amount of land is entirely too small and fencing would just lead to rippers.

Only 5 dig ups is a perfectly acceptable loss to me when I have 15 others growing beautifully.

Put another two clones outside. Will be going out again in the next few days for the final round of sexing and shooting them up with some bloom ferts. Updates when I get to that...

But for now, my lone girl is still doing alright. A little hot in the cab still as I'm tweaking it around a bit. 6 weeks to the day of flowering, still shooting out all white hairs like crazy... Buds fattening, leaves yellowing, flushin time...

To big buds...
