PHL8T ME in the outdoors 2008 grow

I've been lurking around IC mag for a few years now and thought it was time to start my own thread.

The laundry list of strains this year are KC33xMaster Kush, Snow White, Double Gum, 100% indica, and a few crosses of my own from last year.
Feel free to stop by and comment.

I'm around 45 N Lat so many of my vars. are indica dominant. I usually am done clipping by the end of Sept. Last year we were blessed with good weather into about the half of Oct. Total yeild was just over 5 lbs. I'm shooting for 8 this year. I started aprox. 120 plants, and have lost a few to deer and rabbits, but they are all outdoors, and are getting established very nicely!

Stay safe all! :rasta:

The plants in 1 gal pots will be transplanted to soil in July.

Very pretty, Indica x kush x Northern Lights, last years X

Ginormous Mosnter Bud on the left, my own breed-16 "long colas-thick as my arm!!

KC33xMaster Kush

Babies for 2008, just out of the dirt
Big leaf 2007

F.S. NEW Purple Power 2007.

Some new pics....

Along with leaves from 3 acres, and grass clippings. All the droppings, composted and turned (well limed of course) Makes for great plant hole mix!!! Not to mention compost!!

Another trick that has worked in the past. 3.5-5 gal pots with 1" holes drilled in bottom. Set about an inch deep in the mucky soil and it minimizes watering. You may need a little lime though around the pot as swampy soil tend to be brackish, or slightly acid. Also, drill a hole above the soil the pot is burried in to let excess rain water out.

A few new pics.

A few new pics.

Minor setbacks, lost three to deer-saw the tracks- and stormy weather. I'm not bitchin' about the rain though, it was needed.

Anyway, hers a couple of pics. What a difference a week or two makes!!!! :headbange
KC33 x Master Kush---grew 6" in about 8 days!!

I had two Lowrider seeds left. One male one fem. I'm making seeds to start in the end of july to cross with Snow White and HK, might try crossing with FS-Purple power

In the fields I mulch with grass clippings, conserves water and keeps weeds down.

A couple different Vars. in pots. Shiva and purple Northern Lights.

I'm having troble uploading photos.....damn dial-up. Will try again Wed.

So far I have pulled about 5 males, I'm saving two-mostly or 100% indica for breeding with doublegum, snaow white, and a couple of my own crosses from last year.

Also, the Lowrider Female is just about done. I'll let her go another week to finnish the seeds. Then I'll sprout about 10 and breed with my males, and mabey a couple of the fem's.

Next year should be interesting, mabey I'll get some bigger, and hopefully later, autoflowers!! :joint:

The lowrider femal got pulled today. One hand sized bud just chock-full of seeds. Once dry I will germ, timing should be good for end of flowering with a few pure indicas, and a couple other late flowering strains I have. Next year should be interesting!!! :muahaha:

Many of the females are starting to flower, A Bahai Blackhead, some x's from last year as well. Some of the ladies are 6' tall now!! :jump:

Heres a couple of pics; ignore the date, they were taken today, tha camera batt. went dead on me.

It has been a while. Time for an update. I have a couple of plants that have exploded into bloom, heres a 50/50 indica/sativa mix from last year. At this rate of bud growth these two big colas should be 4-5 inches thick!!LOL :jump:

close up of flowers

:woohoo:

The ladies in pots in the swamp are all over 6 foot tal now and starting to show sex, they should be done around end of Sept. which is ideal for this climate.

Also, it hurts but I had to pull a few males.....you give em the love, and time, and they grow balls on ya'! If they weren't in-ground next to 10 females Id leave them, but I just hate picking seeds.

I am starting about 5 lowrider seeds this weekend, they are dry and ready to go. I have several breeding projects in mind........ :muahaha:

Thanks FP. Like BC, I use a chicken shit tea, and also mix compost, almost 70% in planting holes with some added peat-moss to hold moisture. Compost is at least 2 yrs old. That chicken shit is potent, so a little goes a long way.
I usually put about 10 or so silver dollar sized poops in a 3 gal pail and let steep for a day or whenever I get to watering. About a half gal per plant for the ones in pots, the ones in ground get about a gallon until they start to flower.

Here's a couple more new pics. :gaga:

Heavy indica. For this baby I mounded up sand and compost (about 50/50) in a rather wet/ swampy area. Never ferted yet but will start hitting with some bloom ferts.

I love this plant, it's showing female now. It's a HK cross from last year, looks like it kept that pole/one main bud character. Last years buds from its parents were stupifying!! :kos:

Playin' hooky from work today. Good time to update pics.

Flowering big time, should be done mid Sept.

My little jungle. Just started showing female.

Hang loose my brothas'

Stay safe friends. As plants begin to bush out and flower, the authorities start to put planes and choppers in the air, as the plants are much more visible.
