It all goes to show who you know, but on the whole hash is nowhere near as potent as it used to be in the 70's/80's when "commercial" import hash was GOOD.

Well we all know we can blame the UK government's ridiculous tax on cigarettes, as well as greedy gangs too.




If there was no money to be made on cigarettes, as was the case in the 70's, 80's and early 90's, then the smugglers would have to start importing good quality hash again to make any money.

I do count myself lucky. Not since the late 80's/early 90's have i been able to get this nice a hash in the uk. I normally have to go to holland to get anything anywhere near this quality.

As for the price, it depends on the size of the eggs, its sold goes by the gram.

This week i got a new batch, what my supplier calls "lady caramelo's",
you can see why by the size



this stuff melts as well as any bubble hash i've had/seen. Its VERY clean.

This last lot worked out around £5 per gram, but goes for 8 to 10.

Yes i have looked at it under a scope. It's very clean and apart from a few small particles of plant matter has no contamination.

I'm lucky enough to know someone who travels to Morocco at least once a month.

The guy in question actually gets to pick from a number of different qualities from first sieve to 3rd or 4th. Some is even re-sieved. He picks what he thinks is best and then gets it hand pressed it into eggs for smuggling..

Such a shame its so hard to get here in the uk anymore. It's hard to believe that soap-bar hash still gets brought by people, are they nuts or something.

Think i'll stick to my eggs

Hi Wardyleb,

just seen exactly the caramello eggs in the picts, i haven't seen such quality for a while in france. The hash is incredibly sticky, i don't know what quality would it be, but it seems almost pure.
The smoke is really heady, almost no couchlock, very uplifting, which is not common with imported hash.
I'm trying to get some and check under a microscope but seems that there is no more of this stuff around...

The stickiness of the eggs tells a lot....If they are shiny and sticky on the surface they are probably the shit!!
The pure ones you see mrHaze posting are excellent first grade eggs...First class and pure under the scope....If they are in a plastic zip they will develop that shiny smooth surface....from the plastic...And to the touch will stick to your finger....

Thanks wardy, you've confirmed what I thought: that they'd be clean and 1st grade

However, the eggs we were smoking in Holland recently, as well as other Caramello and Nepalese was actually 100% clean - I know Capt said he saw a bit of contamination once, but me and several other people couldn't find any contamination or plant matter whatsoever in them, and we looked at several different samples of them too.

I was actually shocked and amazed how pure they were!

Yours were very cheap too, especially with the current exchange rate compared to the Euro: £5 is only 5.91 Euros at the moment!

& You're lucky to know someone who brings them in for you, but I think you know that anyway, lol

Btw, after he gets them pressed into eggs, does he wrap them, or do they do that as well please?


Now if only I had one to smoke now....lol

Thx for your reply capt crip...Indeed, i've seen and smoked a lot of imported hash, as it is the only way to get something to smoke in france, buds are nowhere to be found... That particular hash was really sticky, just put your finger on it and it sticks like hell. the best imported hash i've smoked were barelly sticky...
I am really amazed by the skills of the hashmakers... It looks so pure, so black, man i would trade it with ice o lator... That would be the real old school hash IMO (i'm young), improving hash taste and quality by some unknown process...
It was about 40 to 80 euro for 6 to 8 g,..

respect for the hashmakers !

Mr haze, some lovely red marroc there, almost looks like red-leb.

When i first started toking in thr late 70's red-leb was at its peak quality wise, and was available all the time. It was so strong, shame we can't get it now.
