I've often wondered about the Swiss strains, anyone got any experience with Heaven, Gran Flora, Alpine Rocket, Double Gum, Alp King, Walliser Queen, Red Valais or Erdbeer?

I know a lot of the buds sold in Switzerland are awful and very low potency, despite looking and smelling great, often wondered if this is due to bad genetics or the way it's grown. A friend travelled in Switzerland a couple of years ago and found he could buy buds all over the place but finding buds that actually got you high was a much harder proposition.

I know a lot of the buds sold in Switzerland are awful and very low potency

from http://cannabisculture.com/articles/2497.html

The winning strain (HEAVEN) was grown by Kautz Felix, and was tested at a THC level of 20.93%, the highest of the batch. Almost all the other entrants tested at over 16%. The second and third place buds were grown by Challendes Marcel and Bio Cannabis Ticinese. The buds weren't identified by strain, only by the grower.

None of the bud entered in the competition was mediocre, and the top strains were certainly comparable to the best bud I've smoked in BC. The winning strain had a strong narcotic kick to it, combined with a clear cerebral high difficult to obtain even under optimum indoor conditions. When combined with jet-lag and two full days of tradeshow transactions, one joint of Felix's bud had our whole booth agog, unable to speak for a few timeless moments

Erdbeer (Swiss Strawberry) is also great medicine, with devastating indica stone (i tried Fraise Sativa from Canna Helvetica,Pure Swiss Strawberry from Greenhornet and Rox from Paradise, all were great, but greenhornet version seems to be most uniform.

all photos displays Fraise (aka Erdbeer) from Cannabis helvetica

me and my friends think we might have to give up our heaven mom we've had since 2003. it just stopped yielding anywhere near what it used to so we've pollenated it with your heaven erdpurt and im personally gonna cross it to those pure erdbeers i have...my heaven always came in between oct 3rd and oct 14th here in norcal
heres the B3N7 erdpurt female and then a pic of the horny male.

those plants are small because i flowered them small. just trying to get a gauge on what the beans do here, then i'll get serious..im pleased with the germ rates and the fast growth of all the beans ive popped from you.
heres a shot of my paki landrace...i have a pollen chucking project going with this too (and yes everyone on my share list gets a handful).....

Wow, that's a beautiful plant you have there mate! Not really my kind of bud, however as it seems to be pretty leafy. Some of the latter shots towards the end looked to have a decent density/yield. Is that the same strain?

Either way, top job. Looks amazing. What's the lineage?

mine? mine are leafy this run because im doing them in a greenhouse. i had an issue for about the 1st week or so of flower with a neighbors security light flashing them for 10 minutes 3 times an hour then the cold dark temps did me in...all gonna be great smoke tho..i vape 90% of what i intake and the leafyness of the bud has no bearing on quality...im gonna try to wow you guys with some summer pics later this year.

Anyone ever grow PT indoors? I'm too late to get any for this year's outdoor grow, but I'd like to get some seeds anyway and grow out some keepers for next year - is it possible? It looks quite Flo-like to me in structure, so I'm assuming it's do-able...?

I grew PT indoor many times (selection, hobby breeding) and she is very easy to grow, clone and also for mother keeping.

hipersemillas.com.. is based out of spain and is the english site for samenwahl.at.. they dont list that they carry the swiss breeders lines but i emailed and ordered that way... i ordered 2 of everything from felix (was going after heaven..his best) just because i could...lol..plus the fact i have those pure erdbeers to cross with......package arrived 9 days after they received payment (im in Cali) w/ some thai skunk freebies.....i recommend them as an easy to order/ ships to US seedbank when seedbay doesn't stock what you want........
