I would rather stop smoking than stop growing.theres nothing better than seein someone whos sick and down on there luck getting a free bag of herb makes my day. the only reason Im scared of getting caught is that I wouldnt be able to grow for awhile.

I'm with a few others, if I could smoke again than I'd keep growing to get the stock pile. If I was finished all together I'd most definetly stop. Unless perhaps I had a super safe place to grow for profit, than I'd continue doing it.

after the first successful grow, its in the blood now, whether i smoked or not, wouldnt matter at this point, i would still give it away and sell a lil here and there, but wouldnt stop growin as long as i could help it.

growing pot is the easiest/best job iv had. my kin are poor. pot keeps that moniker off me

my lungs will make me quit smoking soon, but death is the only thing that will make me stop growing.

I've had no problem with quitting for 1-2 years at a time, during which i start on a big exercise and health-food routine.....

but usually there is a reason.....whether severe migranes, nausea, a back injury from a car wreck, or severe depression, all of which benefit from cannabis therapy.....

once you get bit by the growing bug, it is difficult to stop because of the inherent joy you get from raising a plant from a tiny baby to a dry harvest......i really think maybe we all were farmers in a past life, and there is some genetic trigger that compels us to grow.....

i guess the quest for the perfect plant is never-ending......keep dope alive!!!!

One thing that really makes it hard to stop growing is cloning - when you've found some good phenos then it's very very hard to see them go.
Hell I even have trouble letting the bad phenos go since all of them offer something unique.

No, as much as I enjoy growing, I wouldn't do it just for the joy of it.

If growing was legal, then I answer yes.

I'd still grow, even if only to maintain my genetic library and keep it accessible to the local med user community... I didn't smoke when I started; it was a favor to a boyfriend who didn't deserve it, but now I can't imagine life without my plants and the fellow hobbyists and colleagues who I now count among my friends.

I don't smoke that much and grow for med patients, my sick daughter and a son who is dying. I will quit when they pull the shovel out of my cold, dead hands or stick me in a small prison cell without a HPS or CFL.

Im with pops my wife is sick and my dad is dying terminal cancer, they would have to kill me or put me away before I gave growing up.Its not just something I love its a necessity and most of it is for my family.

Yes I would. If someone would buy me a greenhouse, pay for the seeds, clones, soil, electric, etc. And pay me a decent hourly wage that I could live on and bank some. (in a country where it was legal and secure). I would definitely pull a 9 to 5 as a grower. I love to grow. It gives me a feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction. I have smoked less than an 1/8th since the new year. I give the majority of my herb away. The best thing about growing your own is putting a smile on someone else's face. That makes it all worthwhile it to me.

Definitely. I think I'm more addicted to growing than I could ever be to smoking. I hope I never have to give up my hobby.

I would ... I also love the growing side. Always loved the gardening aspect. Probably cause we used to garden with my father for a good 10hrs + per week when I was growing up..

if i couldn't smoke i would still DEFINITELY grow. and i have. even when they caught me in my field of greens outside and threw me in jail, i wouldn't shut down my other indoor grow ops. my partners were freaked but i convinced them that my troubles had nothing to do with them (and they didn't)!

so even while i was in jail, on probation SOL and not smoking i continued to grow. in fact!!! i was even more hardcore about growing because i have a real real problem with authority telling me that i can't do things that i KNOW are righteous!!!!!!

i will stop growing when i'm six feet under, and even then i will provide some decent fertilizer for growing
