Most efficient way to grow 1 plant under 600/w

greetings, what would u say is the best to do this ? i keep one mother, veg a clone while flower one under 600hps. space 3x4x7(height)

im thinking veg till root bound in 3 gallon flower in 5, simple huh, LOL. perhaps a scrog but i haven't tried scrog before just sog.

do the scrog, thats the best way to maximize anything if thats a main concern. its not hard to do, there are hundreds of tutorials and thread diaries where others have done it.
