What does everyone do for a job?

What does everyone do for a job?

If you have a legitimate job what field is it in and do you enjoy it? I'm just in a weird mood today and analyzing my life and school, etc and was curious to see what others do.

Are you happy with your job? Can you smoke during work?

I am a programmer, and I don't smoke AT work but I smoke before. I also work from home a lot and during that time I smoke non-stop hah :joint:

I enjoy the work and wish I could directly integrate it with my true passion which is growing weed!!! i.e. would love to work on a software application or dynamic site that was weed/growing related.

edit: wanted to mention I'm actually at work right now, with a half of a batch of weed brownies sitting in my mini fridge that I've been eating all day. Sometimes I wonder why I complain about my job...

I work nights driving a sweeper truck. I'm one step above a garbage man, i think, but i'm by myself and theirs no drug testing involved so i always bring a "stick" to work.
You wouldnt believe the shit i see at night. I actually like my job :joint:

I work in a warehouse.

Its not bad but everyday I wake up struggling with it.

I want to do some meaningful work that is going to benefit myself or others. id even like to do some environmental work. we'll have to see but I doubt I'll be in the warehouse much longer.

I work for an engineering consulting firm, using AutoCAD usually to design stuff usually for the telecom industry. I sit at my desk and pretend to look busy, drawing things, and listening to music. When I'm bored, I walk around the office talking to hot nerdy girls.

I just finished up school in March, started the job on Wednesday with my label being an Architect? I'm pretty happy, though I do have quite a bit to pay back due to student loans.

I'm still in shock that I never have to work a shit job again, amazed that I actually got through all the schooling, I still think I'm dreaming.

I don't smoke on the job, I'm a light toker so It would be pretty obvious I think If I was blazing at work.

I'm a psychologist and psychotherapist. Perhaps it's obvious, but I NEVER smoke before or during work. I think it would be disrespectful to my clients, and I take my job very seriously. AFTER work, though, is MY time, and that's a different story... :joint:

I have known some folks, though, mostly fellow students when I was still in grad. school, that would get high right before sessions. I always thought it was a bit nuts, asking for trouble, and definitely not very considerate or professional.

Personally, I like waiting until the evening, after the kids are in bed, for a few hours of adult leisure time, which I thoroughly enjoy. It allows me to feel that I've had a good and productive day, and that I've "earned" my nice crystally bowl of home-grown (BIG THANKS OG and IC-MAG for the skills!)

I also find it privately amusing that none of my clients would EVER guess that their therapist is a STONER! Many of them have all sorts of different attitudes about herb, but I think that for the most part, they assume I am a total square because I have a Ph.D. and dress the part. Oh well...

I work in IT and Finance... Yea both... its a nice change from the usual 9-5... Most of the time i spend supporting and training doctors and nurse practioners how to use the computer software...

thats probably 75% of what i do now, the other 25% is spent in Finance; medicare related stuff, actually sort of interesting or rather ever changing... It's sort of weird having a governtment user ID's at work now that i think about it, but then again its just medicare.... And they KNOW i smoke, becuase I put it on the damn application, long before i knew what a "cori" check was and that it only included felonys :(...

At the same time I am one of the IT persons so they know this obviously doesn't effect my work, I think one of my direct supervisors likes it because i often think/say thinks baked that others dont see, and most of the time i am right.

As for smoking, i smoke before work, and during sometimes, but not actually "at work" but rather I will go for a quick ride around or walk to the park...
ALthough, i was actually thinking if i got an ozone generator for my office i could almost smoke in there...although at the same time, i smoke for medical reasons apart from solely recreational... anyways back to my afternoon dedicated to dr. hofmann
