I dont have a bubbler so i cant make tea's. But i did buy some molasses and im planning on mixing 1tbs per gallon of water and shaking it up well, and feeding them this throughout my grow. (organic soil grow)

So is it safe to use while they are seedlings? I ahve some 20 days old and some 1 week old.

You can feed your sprouts molasses when they get their first set of true leaves. I do 1 teaspoon/gallon...

Also, you can brew tea without a bubbler assuming you have good water (chlorine/chloramine free) by adding the goods then shaking the jug (the jug with the screw on cap- trust me) and letting it sit for a day or so, no longer...

How much do i shake it up? Just shake it until my arms get tired? then let it sit? I think im going to make some kelp tea w/ molasses.
Would my 20day old plants be fine with kelp and molasses tea?

And also, this is my first grow, what are true leaves?

Your plants will probably love the brew.
Fist things to emerge are cots, then a single bladed leaf, then usually a three blade leaf, then the regular leaves from then on, be they 5,7,9, or whatever.

Dude I have used molasses almost from the day they got their first feeding, obviously not alot, but just some to sweeten up the water a touch. Your best bet for mixing is to mix it in some hot water first them add it to your feed water, alot easier to get it off the spoon, that does not require you to lick it off

I just mix everything into a 3L juice bottle, shake well and then use wen eva needed ... Some bottles usually sit for a week or more and are still fine to use. Dont really see what can go wrong with them, unless u somehow geiv ur plant a disease from it?

I mix in 2 teaspoons per 3L or molasses and then add everything else like kelp extract/seaweed plant tonic, fish emulsion, liquid blood and bone, oceanic liquid blood and bone, Earth Juice catalyst, microblast, grow/bloom, meta-k (occasionally) ... They love it, absolutely love it!

I start feeding them from bout the 2nd set of 5+ fingered leaves ... Could feed them earlier with a much weaker solution tho, personally dnt see the point as the soil provides plenty of nutrition in the early life stages

Cheers.

Good thread - I was about to ask this exactly question myself. I'd say then, early veg would use maybe one teaspoon per gallon. Double this when the plant is stronger and has a few nodes. How much per gallon does one use during flower, and do you need to lower your nutrient concentrations? BTW - I'd suggest an airstone. They can be had at wal-mart for mad cheap, something like $10. Here is a link for water if it helps ya:

Good luck.
