Aaaarrrrggg !!!!

I have approx. 12 ozs of Red Hair Skunk (All Bud) that got seeded from a hermie nearby. I want to try and extract the resins to salvage the loss. If I am going to make BHO, do I need to remove all seeds and stems or can I grind them up with the herb and continue with my extraction.

I will be using a DIY stainless steel extractor and butane. Any objections to using Ronson Butane?

If I cannot grind up the seeds to use the BHO method should I just go with my Bubble Bags?

Pirate - don't use Ronson, it contains heavy metals and other nasty shit...spray some on a mirror and look at the residue it leaves behind...not something we want to smoke or vape for sure. I'd use King, Colibri, Lucienne, or Vector, they pass the mirror test. Good luck and I'm sure you'll love BHO

edit: Sorry I saw Ronson and immediately wrote my reply...A little advice...I've gotten rock hard amber oil from mid-grade with a handful of seeds in it so I wouldn't worry too much about removing the seeds unless you wanna save 'em for future use. Also, don't grind the buds up at 1st, run a batch of whole nugs then do a second run and break them up...quality won't be as good as the 1st run but I think it's worth the extra can of 'tane

I did a little reading after made the post and found all the suggestions for other types of Butane. I did spray a little on a mirror to convince myself and sure enough.........Residue.

I'll take your advice about the double runs. (as well as anyone else's ideas).

Another question if I may.

I have a piece of stainless tube that is 2 inches inside diameter and about 10 inches long with a sealed end I can drill for butane access and a screw cap on the other end where i can install a filter. Is this to fat? I read somewhere that 1.5 inches is the max. True or false. 2 inches OK ? I can't see how 1/2 inch more is gonna make that big of a difference. I have plenty of stash to fill the tube.
