philly,
when lookin at your close ups of that bud, i'm sure i've had this type bud before. it passed through via commercial means end of last summer/early fall, i remember the purple hues mixed in with the green, and i specificly remember sayin ooo look purple. it was the best of the commercial that i've smoked from my connect that gets this rock hard nugget bud. it's always different though, unpredictable. it always stones you for sure though, just some batches are stronger then others.
high was strong on that one man, i can recall being in a car as the passenger. and feeling like my face and head was on fire..burning, i truely felt like i was baking.. kinda trance like state watching the road, skin felt flushed w/heat warmth radiating feeling all around my upper body. lol. i would not want to be the driver!.. couldn't really say much during the peak of it. a little bit uncomfortable for me. flavor was a bit harsh tho from what i remember, a little burning on the throat and coughing. remmeber feeling like a hot spot in my throat like burning and the high amplified it with the radiating heat. everything he gets is always harsh though. probably not flushed or something. it was one of the strongest commercial though for sure, not sure if i enjoyed the high or not. you know i like the more floaty uplifting dreamy smooth smoke highs. but it definately wasn't a light weight. an ass kicker for sure. just a different type of buzz. it will due when i don't have what i like! i'm not going out on a limb here when i say i bet grown with loving care it's 10x better then what i had, which 7 out of 10 would be happy to have for sure.

good observation and yes their are multiple phenos of this dank floating around but the taste is outstanding truly like a refined purple wine, sad that alot of herb suffers from not being properly flushed. Very Very tasty herb the stone is moderate but no where near devastating more of pleasant high/Daytime herb

Nice pix INC, Zombo, SmokerE and PP. I just tried one of the purple strains. It was a nice soft high and had a mild flavor of grape bubble gum. This will be the first year in nearly a decade that I'll have smoke on 420 LOL.

there are def. diff versions i guess, the one i was talking about that i was baking on last summer..most likely wasn't this one you guys are smoking recently (not sure if it's the same as phillys either). there was no pleasant taste at all, just fire throat and a cough.the high was nothing like what i'm used to on the pif. i just don't like a buzz where people are talking to me and i'm just at a loss for words, and don't want to talk back. just feeling dumb and blahh..zzz..it's not even a good dreamy feeling, just like a almost depressed state of mind, and staring into nothing just feeling down, don't want to talk, just blah n feelin' crappy.
i've had a very deep dark purple sample maybe a couple months ago, from a differerent source. that was more of an uppy buzz. it was mild just like vintner says, and after the 3rd session with it, lucky if the buzz lasted for 30-40 minutes before a clear head. (i smoke it in hitters) but the first 15 minutes was a nice. it had a really strange taste.. i guess someone might say grapey flavor, strange almost perfumey tasting, want to say like inhaling sour hairspray thats just been squirted in the air along with at the same time a regular herb taste (no hairspray on the bud tho, 100% positive it was just a weird flavor, i guess thats purple, not sure if i like it too much) no other way to describe the taste. but the high just wasn't there. first go with it, i felt it immediately. and it came on strong and lasted decent. first exposure to that profile i guess. my buddy who i shared it with was very talkative on it, kinda like coke-weed a little rushy and yappy, our convo kinda went all over the place in 3 minutes musta talked and talked and i had no idea how we got to what we were talking about. it was cold outside though, so jumpy convo high is kinda messed up, lol. gives you a quick blast stone within a minute, but then later he went to hit some more of it at home, told me it gave him a headache and went back to his throat burning commercial, lol. it was one of the purples for sure. but the one above isn't as deep of a purple as the mild sample i had, the mild one was dark. very very dark purple, no green in it really just either purple or DARK purple.
over the summer was a different type for sure, it was ROCK hard with more green and some purple hues. more of a baker feeling indica then a happy trippy daytime. so if you guys are feeling happy mild daytime, that definately wasn't the same thing i smoked.
i wonder if this beaster everyone refers too is that burning coughing strain.
all buds should come with a certificate of authenticity!
