Oh I like AI. but not tonight. him and the nuggets stand in the way of my Warriors having that 8th spot in the playoffs. AI is one of the greats but wouldnt say he deserves a ring. If he could have been less than a one man show he could have kept some great players around him and really made a push in the east a couple of years with the sixers.

...true that, but i didnt like him when he was on the east side. (actually never cared enuff to even watch him)

he changed his game ALOT w/ the nuggs tho...

...didnt know u were a warrior fan hehe...yeah there is gonna be some drama w/ that scenario.

Im A Rockets fan for tonight! Utah helped us last night, if houston comes thru tonight then the balls in our court. We loose either of our games against phoenix or seattle we are thru. But damn it makes for some good basketball. Note:the team that sits in the 9th spot will have the most wins ever to not make the playoffs, most likely 49.

MJ must have been weighed down from all them rings Iverson will never have!
I diddnt mention vince carter because I have felt he has been over rated his whole career. That would be like putting t-mac on that list!

you forgot about 6x NBA Champion (1991, 1992, 1993, 1996, 1997 1998)
5x NBA MVP (1988, 1991, 1992, 1996, 1998)
6x NBA Finals MVP (1991-1993, 1996-1998)
1x NBA Defensive Player of the Year (1988)
10x All-NBA First Team Selection (1987-1993, 1996-1998)
1x All-NBA Second Team Selection (1985)
9x NBA All-Defensive First Team Selection (1988-1993, 1996-1998)
1985 NBA Rookie of the Year
1985 NBA All-Rookie Team
14x NBA All-Star (1985-1993, 1996-1998, 2002-2003)
3x NBA All-Star Game MVP (1988, 1996, 1998)
2x NBA Slam Dunk Contest winner (1987, 1988)
NBA's 50th Anniversary All-Time Team
1x NCAA Men's Basketball Champion (1982)
1982 ACC Freshman of the Year
1984 ACC Men's Basketball Player of the Year
1984 USBWA College Player of the Year
1984 Naismith College Player of the Year
1984 John R. Wooden Award
1984 Adolph Rupp Trophy
1991 Sports Illustrated Sportsman of the Year
2000 ESPY Athlete of the Century
1990's ESPY Male Athlete Decade Award
1990's ESPY Pro Basketballer Decade Award
and lets not forget 2 olympic gold medals in 84 and 92.

as opposed to AI with:
Big East Rookie Of The Year - NCAA
Big East Defensive Player Of The Year - NCAA (1996)
NBA Rookie of the Year (1997)
All-Star Rookie Game Most Valuable Player (1997)
All Rookie First Team (1997)
NBA Most Valuable Player (2001)
2-time NBA All-Star Game MVP (2001, 2005)
3-time All NBA First Team Selection
3-time All NBA Second Team Selection
9-time NBA All-Star

or it could be that MJ being 12 years older than AI might of had something to do with it.

peace -fb

pg - Gotta go with Chauncey Billups. He floated around the league for a long while before finding a home in Detroit. Tough. Strong. Smart. Dead-eye 3pt shot, doesnt miss free throws. Heart and soul of the Pistons

sg - Kobe Bryant. Deadly anywhere. I am liking his change in attitude this year. Maybe its a sham, but still the guy is a H.O.Famer. Oh, and 81 POINTS. (happened to be his 666th game. {hums X-Files theme song} )

sf - Shane Battier. Quintessential glue-guy. One of the best defenders in the league. Good 3pt shot. Excellent fundamentals. A locker room captain.

pf - Amare Stoudamire. Constantly attacks the basket. Has really improved his mid-range jumper. Came back from knee surgery with a vengeance. Explosive on offensive, improved his shot-blocking timing. Needs to improve weak-side defense, but he's still young. (and plays for the run-and-gun-Suns, which doesnt help)

C - Dwight Howard. Beastly. Cut like Karl Malone, more explosive then Shawn Kemp in his prime, and dunks like he has a vendetta against the rim. A natural rebounding machine. Will be among the league leaders in blocked shots for the next decade.) Needs to work on his abysmal free throw shooting though.

[bench]
Deron Williams -> Built like a running back. Excellent strength and quickness. Exceptional cross-over and 1on1 moves. Sharp passer, good 1on1 defender.
I truly believe Deron is better than Chris Paul.

Lebron James -> The whole package. Only riding the bench due to my personal opinion that hes cocky. But with all the scrubs Danny Ferry has surrounded him with, I cant blame King James too much.

Marcus Camby -> Mr. Elastic. Ridiculous shot blocker, good rebounder. Had an excellent season and has stayed (somewhat) injury-free.

Brandon Roy -> Calm and composed. Very snaky and adept at going both left or right. Can get anywhere on the floor. A young leader in the making.

Sad we couldnt pull it out but Ellis will be giving us alot to be happy about in years to come! Mississippi Slick. The guy is so great they are gonna be able to put anything behind Mississippi and have a nickname. Before long we are just gonna call him Mississippi, cause he is going to be the pride of Mississippi

^ Agreed.

Monta Ellis is a star. He is incredible at finishing lay-ups off the break, especially, for a 6'4" guard. Deceptively quick and agile. The guy reminds me of a mix between d-wade and kevin martin. Ellis' midrange game is superb. I bet he will be the face of the Warriors after Baron (inevitably) breaks.

my fav is Leandro Barbosa, he's the quickest ever!!

I remember an interview with Allen Iverson, in which they asked him who was the quickest guy in the league (besides himself) and without hesitation he said Leandro.

YO backwood i know what a shame they just couldnt pull it off... damn....

who would have thunk that the first six games really destroyed the warriors whole season... jack you gun-totin fool....

Monta Ellis is HANDS DOWN THE FASTEST QUICKEST PLAYER IN THE LEAGUE!!!
he ran a 4.4 40 with a bad knee hes just down right explosive
