Lat. N43.0

My latitude is N43.0,At 42 Lat when do you guys begin to flower, first week of August?I'm sure I would begin very close to the same time as you.

Reason why I ask is according to this site SUN HOURS
it takes ti'll August 25th to be 5:40AM-8:07PM=14hrs 27mins thats with Begin/End civil twilight .
I was also told by an experince grower SilverBack that I would most likely begin to flower at the first week of August.Could someone please let me know for sure so I get the right strain.

Goucho, you got the point man and you'll be successful.

Hey SSA, I shouldn't have said the first week of august as the time for flowers to start to appear at your lat. Is is probably the second week of Aug.

i did some checking around. It seems like at Sept. 1 your lat has about 13 hrs of daylight. Outdoor cannibas will start flowering at 13.5- 14 hrs so you can figure a bit. Im guessing mid august. Any 8 week strain should finish 56 days after mid august, (mid Oct) and a 10 week strain would be 70 days after the middle of August. ( the end of Oct.) As long as you stick with 8 week strains, you should finish fine. The 7 week,(45-50 days), finishers should come in around early oct.

Thats the way I read it anyway. sb

I'm close to your Lat SirSmokeAlot Real close. And most plant's will start the first few weeks of August. Alot of it depends on the strain. I have had plant's that are very light sensitive start flowering in mid july and also have had a few that didn't start flowering till almost september.

It's hard to say, Ive had some strains showing signs of bud from last week of July till 3rd week in august for some.

Well my strains are Full Moon,Maxicana from Sativa Seed Bank which are from Nirvana. You can see them on Dr.C.

EdiT-These strains aren't dominate indica but its outside flowering days 56-64 days.Begin to flower at Aug.15th and finish Oct. 15th or before.
FullMoon is indica/sativa , Maxicana is Sativa -i might just go Fullmoon or another indica/sativa instead of pure sativa.-even though they have same flowering days
Does Civil Twilight matter or is it just sunrise/sunset?
August 15,Begin civil twilight 5:27 a.m. - End 8:24 p.m.
August 31,Begin civil twilight 5:46 AM ends 7:57 PM <-- civil twilight."

here would've been a better question, people at N43 lat. if you have, when did a 56-64 flowering days strain begin/finish?The strain's origin is Holland and Holland's lat. is 52° and they claim it finishes half/end of october. But since im at a lat of 43 it should finish maybe a week or two before their finishing time. But then again I dont know how light senstive this strain will be,if the the twilight light will have an effect on the strain. But out of going threw 40+ pages on google and using a language translation site for sites that were in Spanish,German,French i never found anything saying that the strain is light sensitive.Only found the two people had problems that the strain had problems in cold weather but I couldn't find what lat they were from, but the strain's origin is Holland and Holland is at a higher lat. by 9° from me so I blieve I should be fine with strain Full Moon from Sativa Seeds
