Hi all Just a quick question ...I want to know if 6X 600 HPS lights in a room with dimentions of ...2.0m X 2.0M X2.2M... Is that much light ?Or not enough ?

I kinda have figured it out to be around 76 Watts per sq/ft

Thanx Inadvance for any help ...

just my two cents dude, thats going to take some cooling down,i think 36 watts per square foot is about right.I'm not saying you should'nt but that space will get extremly hot unless you get cool tubes so you probebly might be ok.Iff you did it i think you would get monster buds though.I only have one 600 over a 1m by 1m area and get good results, good luck man

I have a 280mm inlet and a 280mm outlet with a scrubber on the outlet ...

I turned my babies yesterday to 12 12 .I am hoping for some good yields ...
My temps are around 40C

dude 40c is like 100 degrees that seems far to hot,you should be in the 70's range and about ten degrees cooler at night.I first used 1000watt hps but plant spent more time trying to keep cool than grow.Dont want to start an arguement or owt but 280mm inlet and outlet seems small for six lamps...?

I thought so 40 was a bit warm but it seems to be working really well ... check out my Gallery BingoBango ...No chance of an argument here man Peace :rasta:

your plants look hot...with that much wattage in such a small space, you may want to look into an ac. Don't know where you live but if it's the northern hemisphere, it's just going to get hotter yet this year

get some cooltubes and your probably gonna get your temps down
40C is to much, your plants will grow,no dought, but not as well as in lower temps.
Also have a big enough fan on your outlet. You could if you have the space use 2 of you 600W in a veg room, the 4*600W in the bloom room. 600W @ 1m*1m is a bit on the big side, but it would do,and you would get your temps down, have nice big vegged plants for you flower room as soon as you chop down you ready plants

Hey all I am heading into Winter so the out side temps are dropping quickly ...
Through out our summer we had day after day of 110 F
I was turning lights off to suit the conditions outside , I didnt mention before but my room is fully insulated with 6" thick insulation bats so it's sound and temp proof ( 5 sides of insulation "ie" 4 walls & roof is double thickness 12"
Timber lined and Malar sheeting )

:rasta:

6 6oo air cooled in a 150sq. foot room would still need a ac/window unit i was at the grow store lastweek wit the same question

GET THOES TEMPS DOWN!!! turn off 2 lights and c if your temps go down... try flip floping in a zip zag pattern 3 lights at a time... 3/3/3/3 3 itll get the temps down and the different angles will make some fat girls while saving your power bill.
