hi guys and gals..welcome to my first grow thread last year i posted in Ont grow thread..this year decided make my own..So just started seeds last month
3 Jewel( Afghani,Haze,Blueberry Hybrid), 3 Celestial Temple Sativa X Island Sweet Skunk and 3 Blockhead (freebies from the bay)

another CTS X ISS has popped..and I have planted 3 more seeds which are SAGE f2's from Bucky's Charity Auction...so thats 4 different breeds..which means a nice crop for the summer

Are they in those peat pots you can buy at Wally World, Lowes, etc.? I see those things every year and never tried them but always wanted to. Do the roots just go right through that thing or do you tear it off when you transplant?

thanks for taking a peak luciano28...yea peat pots and yes the roots just shoot right through..I will be transplanting the larger ones into 4inch pots then by June 1 they will be about 1-1.5 ft and will be putting them in the ground..

Awesome, I think Im gonna buy a few sleeves. Using those have to cut the stress down on a young plant being transplanted. Thanks.

thanks luciano28 and BROKENFINGERS...yea I can't wait to smoke some BLOCKHEAD hopefully..Man is it HOT in the greenhouse today..I have the babies in my pops greenhouse(he grows orchids) and he hasn't set the roof to open automatically yet..so on a sunny day like today it ranges from 32-36 Celsius ...i keep turning his fan on too keep the air moving..and make sure the babies have enough water..but they really love it..

started some new beans...SAGE F2's and they have popped...very excited about these..
and the CTSxISS looks real promising..I can smell a female already...seriously one of the CTS stinks already..hehe gotta love that

an update here..the Blockheads look so wicked..wow what a diff between growth structure of the blockheads compared to the CTS X ISS..

and the Jewel's and CTS are at the back the big one on the left i think is a male CTSxISS the one beside i think is a fem and the 2 in the back on the right are the jewels.

Do using those jiffy pots stunt the roots at all i remember an old OverGrow fourm saying not to use them for they stunt root growth
I've always wanted to use them but need tried for this reason

they are peat pots and no don't find that they stunt growth at all

sorry haven't been updating at all lol...been busy..the plants now are 1.5 feet and growing like mad..have been feeding them AN B-52 and they love it but now just water..and on Fri they are going under a 400w HPS for 12/12 to sex the 10 plants I have..I have identified(i think) 4 plants to be fem..1 CTSxISS 1 Blockhead and 2 Jewel..
We will see if I am right..

Right on chef, sounds good. Lets hope all 10 are female. AN seems like they have good products, I am thinking about getting some of their ferts this year to test them out, flowering nutes though. I have always used good ole Miracle Gro all purpose for vegging indoor and out. People say bad stuff about MG but I never had any problems. Im a cheap ass, lol.

I started 5 plants in them after seeing this thread and I had no problems really, the only thing was the roots came out the bottom and bottom sides really fast, like in a week. Next time I try it, I am gonna use the bigger ones(4" I think) so I can take them straight outdoors in those. I had to transplant those little peat pots into a bigger pot for some more indoor growth under my 150w before I take them out, they will be going out at the end of this rainy spell my area is about to experience. They are ready now to go but we are gonna get like 10 days straight of rain so Im gonna wait a bit. Somewhere around the new moon on the 20th

Looks like you got a nice start there, from the looks of it Im about a week or two behind you, rocking some Kush myself...Ill be really interested to see how those Blockhead turnout...

sorry been real busy,,but now I got screwed out of a job for the summer(and have the summer OFF now) so decided to update and even start some new things..
