DC x Big Bud ( DK outdoor version)


Im also looking forward to given BlockBerry and Berry IBL a go in one of the next runs in the room

Chopping my DC seed project this Saturday. I took a sample bud from each of the females a week ago and 75% of the seeds tiger stripped while the others were a pale brown color so I'm sure almost all will be ready. I'm not a breeder and not much of selection was made but I hope I find some nice lady's in the mix.

The Male I used had a very destinct smell of limes. Saved a few vials of pollen from him also to put on some outdoor lady's this year.






Then the females I used are of course another DC









And a DJ shorts Blueberry







And a PTK




And lastly a Skunk #1 (sensi's)





I grew them all in 32 oz countainers under CFL's so there not very large thats why I don't have whole plant shots. I hope to get 200 seeds from each female.

I have grown a few DC hybrids outdoors over the years. To me they are perfect for my area. Nice large shunky buds all the time. like said many times before some are good some are great and some are phenominal in potency.

THE DC GOT ME THINKING ,,
, I have seen TH pics on the deep chunk and it seems sativa to me i have even seen some dc plants looking so sativa ,,,,, and then i see a lot of indica DC ,, what are the genes behind these beautyfull plant _!_!_!

I plan to take the F2 Bubba chunks I have and hope to find a good looking bubba male to backcross to the Bubba cut. Then I was thinking should backcross in to the DC aswell. Could improve the flavors some. Potential is now there to breed a uniform Bubba Kush from seeds..........many are working on it.

My advice would be to sort threw as many DC as you can, as they are not all created equal.. DC x F13........ sounds like a great place to start.

Raco, nice CC. Is it Tom's x or did you reproduce his cross? That one always intrigued me since I really like the PTK high and taste though it's not the strongest.

I grew 1 Nigerian x DC outdoors last yr. She was HUGE, chunky and yummy! Good potency and I know it didn't come from the Nigerian as it was sadly weak in it's pure form. It had great mold resistance which was amazing for the density of the nuggies. I have 5 BK X DC vegging that will be getting grown out outdoors this yr.

The male that I used to pollinate the female bullrider x dc and also the vietchunk female...I think the outcome of the BR x DC and VC should be interesting. Having 2 different sativa's making up 50% of the background and 2 different DC the other 50%...



The female bullrider x dc had her roots burned by the high temps here. She is doing well now, but very small...Still the bottom 2 sets of bud have been pollenated. The VC that I topped has the BR x DC pollen on the bottom buds...I may go put some more BR x DC pollen on the VC...
