Thanks for the posts everyone, hopefully I'll be able to upload some pics soon, I was hoping to get a side by side comparison every 7 days. That'll be tomorrow. If we still can't upload them here I'll find someplace else to put them so everyone can see them.

The plants are looking great, they responded very well to their feeding yesterday, they're very perky and healthy looking today.

Also, in the past few days I've been extremely productive and there's been a few changes. I think I'll be staying in this apartment so I can start flowering in the next couple weeks. That's not even the best part. I've been running around the past two days from the hardware store to the hydro shop and back to the hardware store. In total I probably spent about $150, but what that got me was...

Four site recirculating drip coco setup, with a six gallon reservoir
GH FloraMicro, FloraBloom, Liquid KoolBloom
Some other misc. odds and ends for the cabinets

Overall I'm pretty excited, as soon as I can get some clones off the plants going right now I'm going to put them into flower. I'm not sure if I'll veg them, if I do it won't be more than a week or so. I'm going to use Rezdog's feeding schedule this time around, see how that works out for me. Hopefully I'll be showing you guys some great things in a few months!

Are you gonna wait for them to show sex before you move them into the coco-drip-apparatus? :headbange

Thanks for the posts guys, let me explain my current plan, it changes just about every day now. Right now, I think I'm going to top these plants very soon and put the tops into 12/12 for them to show sex. Then I'll get rid of the males, and hopefully by that time I'll be able to take a few clones from the remaining female plants.

As soon as those root, depending on how many I have, I might put four clones from one plant into my dripper setup, which would probably end better because they'll all respond the same to feedings, but if I have a few females I'll probably put at least one of each into the coco. It all depends on what I get for females, so that's what I'm shooting for right now, sexing the plants.

What that dripper setup is is basically an automated watering system. Even if you're growing soil, you could set a timer to water it once every few days or whatever, but the way I'm using it is going to be more of a hydro application. There's an amazing amount of info in the Growing in Coco Coir sub-forum and I'm still deciding on the details. I have a pretty fine coco so I'll probably only be watering twice a day at most, but we'll see how the plants respond and how moist the coco is once it's all setup.

Huggiebear - You should put a link to your grow in your signature so people can check it out easier, go to the User Menu up top, and then go to Edit Signature. Put the url for your grow there with a little description or something, you'll get more visitors! I'll check it out right now though.

One of my plants, the one with the least soil in the cup, was looking thirsty before all the other ones today. I watered it and let it sit in a dish of water so it could soak it up for maybe an hour, but it looks extremely over watered now. I think the submerge watering technique has contributed a lot to my grow, it's definitely something I'll be using for a long time.

upgradeshafted - Thanks for stopping by, your SD is looking great, getting close now huh? I just sprouted two the other day, can't wait to get them flowering again.

Two for $40, so much easier than doing ducting with a bunch of turns, takes up a lot less space too. They have the round ones on that site too, but I've heard they're not as light-proof as these ones, and also I find it easier to cut square holes than it is to cut circles.

Well first ya take one outta the Cab

Then you put it in the bucket.....

Then fill bucket to 1/4" above soil line with Nute mix

When the Bubbles stop....wait 1 more min then drain and replace in cab

That should cover it eh... :rasta:
That's from DrBudGreeneGene's "Compact SOG with CFL's" thread, there's a lot of good information in it if you read through, he does things differently than a lot of people but he has great results. I'm going to mix up some food for the plants, then probably top them sometime later, after they've drank their fill.

I just fed them with a new recipe today, instead of PBP and LK, I used 6ml FloraMicro and 9ml of FloraBloom, at 6.0PH. This new recipe has almost twice as much N, so we'll see how they respond. I think I'll top them in about 6 hours and then throw those right into 12/12 to figure out sex asap.

I saw Sour Diesels on Seedbo and didn't pick them up I am so kicking myself after reading all the love for that strain..
How often are you doing that soaking routine?

By the soaking routine I think you mean the submerge watering I do? I'd say it's a split between how the plants are looking and how light the cups are. I watered them all this morning and topped them

I'm not going to show any pictures of the clones I'm sexing until they've sexed, I don't know if what I'm doing is going to work so I'm going to hold off on that. Either way, in a week or two I'll let everyone know and post some pics of how it went.

I didn't top the Blockead, I'm just going to let that one do it's thing and try to treat it nice, hopefully it'll grow a little more vigorously. It's my only chance at having Blockhead so I'm really rooting for it. It looks really healthy, just stunted. We'll see how she goes. :rasta:

Well the veg cab is just about empty right now, all I've got in there are two SD seedlings, one of the MaT plants, the Blockhead, and some shrooms. I put the other four MaT plants into the flower cab a couple days ago, and they're under 24 hours of light for a little while, until I see some new growth, then I'll switch them to 12/12. I'll try and get some pics up today.

PoP3yE - Which watering setup do you mean? The cab was pretty easy to set up. I first cut the holes I needed, one on the bottom of the left side panel, an 8"x8" square for my light trap, and the top of the right side, about 4.5"x9" for my two PC fan exhaust. I then put the cabinet together as per instructions. I then added the light sockets and wiring, the carbon filter, and weatherstripping along the door. That's about it, just took it one step at a time and it came out really well.

Probably about 10 days, but they're under 24/0 right now while their roots get accustomed to the new medium.
