Your experiences with nirvana seeds...

I'm growing Super Girl and have a small grow log in the works. I bought some fem seeds, put one seed in soil, it popped turned female and off we go. I pinched the shit out of it, rolled the dice, made it a mom and cloned it. I now have 20 of them in 1 gal bags at 3.5 weeks of flower. Super esay to clone and have had zero problems. Looks like they will finish pretty well, but only time will tell.

I've growing their beans for years now. No real complaints, except for Hindu Kush 0-10. These were recent too, but everything else has been fine. WW, NL, Blue Mystic, Top44, Purple Power, Papya etc. However, now that not I'm a beginner I buy from specific seedbanks. I've kept them in the fridge in can with rice in the can. I've had these beens in there for 4 and 5 years. I bought the Hindu Kush this year along with Master Kush and 4way. The Master Kush was 4 or 4 with 2 fems and 4 way 2 OUT OF OUT 2 fem. I like getting lucky. Funny thing back in 02-03 when I was starting up I recalled them sending me out some replacements. This time when I said the Hindu didn't germ no new beans. Oh well if I really want them I'll probably go to a seedbank and get them. All in all I'm still cloning the WW, Blue Mystic, Papya, and Purple Power.

i grew out a pack of B-52 from nirvana.

(well 8 of the 10 seeds i germed)


all 8 cracked (yay for 100%germ rate)


I was unlucky and lost the other 2 seeds, and ended up only getting 3 females out of the 8 i grew out.

After chopping the males down, and finishing the grow, I noticed two distinct phenotypes.

1) Sativa Dominant - taller, mainly one large cola, with some side shoots (really good phenotype for SOG) It took a bit longer to mature, the other phenotype which was a indica dominant, could have been taken down at least a week in advance if not 2.

The smell of the sativa phenotype was very fruity in a way, since I don't have personal experience with other fruity type strains, I can't really compare it to anything.

The high from it is a nice head high, makes you kinda think a lot more; smoking too much at once of this can start to couchlock and tire you. (so smoke in moderation!)

2) Indica Dominant - about a foot shorter than the Sativa phenotype, lots of indica traits, the top cola was basically a miniature Christmas tree with THC on it instead of ornaments. I wouldn't recommend this phenotype for SOG or any type of commercial application as it was a low yielder. (roughly 15 -20 grams from the one plant total dried, where as the Sativa Dom. phenotype produced ~50grams dried. (6 - 10 of these in a SOG under a 400W could easily produce 300+ grams if treated with care)

the smell and smoke of this was EXTREMELY different than the sativa phenotype.

the smell was rancid to say the least, kinda smelled like straight up swamp ass. (I honestly can't think of anything else it smells like at the moment)

The smoke was a bit different also, not actually tasting like swamp ass (or what you would think swamp ass would taste like) good high though, very much a indica high, will put you to sleep if your even remotely tired. (or smoke a good amount of it)



Overall - this strain was a very hardy and beginner strain IMO, they may say its an intermediate difficulty strain to grow, but NOTHING was able to stop these suckers from continuing to grow.

I ended up getting lazy for 2 weeks and never changed the water, just kept adding nutes as needed, and topping off the water. they ended up getting locked a bit I would say, but after a full res change, they came back real strong.

with some real love and care they would come out amazing I would predict.

Wish I had pictures to show you, but I have pretty much smoked the ~180g I ended up getting from this crop (under a 400W; but remember I only had 3 females, the space they were in could've easily held 3 more)

yeah there looking good so far ... after the burn and the over watering and the ph problems ... lol ive put them through everything and they are doing great!
