big herb your 100 on that i'm from bx and stay in the heights, i went out to amsterdam and was dying to come back to smoke some of that fire haze. i wish someone knew what exact strain that was, for real i'll smoke some sour, bubba kush, martian mean green, all kind of shit, but can't compare to that true heights haze.

this is my hazey piffy, it's finished 80 days, its nyc uptown bagseed, she's been with me for a while and have yet to see anyone else with this disctinct haze pheno/heirloom. everyone who has smoked it so far has called it the dro, the piff, haze, etc. 1-2 hits is all i need for a while. here she is right before harvest, and a drying older nugget from a previous harvest, she is hanging right now, 6th day, going to let her go a few more days before the jar, maybe 10, i already had a sample 6 days drying, not even a full hit, and i was lit. felt like i won the lottery inside, and a numb smile on my face i could not remove for a pretty long time, on just half a pull! can't wait for the cure. theres no way to really explain the high, until you smoke it. like someone slapped the crap out of your face, and its ringing in tingles, and your body is floating/soraing through a spiral vortex or something, and it is very pleasurable as you dream away, very creeper before you know it u stop and think damn im fucked up. it can be social and talkie in the beginning, and it can be couch lock if you sit down and dream and let your body numb up and dreamy away. it absolutely reeks when broken. skunky rotten fruit (mix of grapefruit/pineapple) some kinda chemical citrus and something that is very unique vicks menthol, or something. there is no pine tree smell in this one at all.

you can check out my gallery if you want to see her from beginning to end, she was grown in a very harsh experimental environment, under fluro, with no ventilation, no air movement to see how much she could endure. started 5.5 inches, ended 80 days 12/12 later 27-28 inches. i know people have the piff most likely don't have the internet, but maybe one day someone will show up with her sister, lol. btw, she is getting very light during the dry, light green, blade leaves are turning goldish. more pics soon after next clean up.

tnx man, not as much as the ones who use all the nutes during flower thats for sure! she had NO nutes by the way, just whatever was in the soil, which was sucked up in 40 days or so + the fluro environment, i don't have a scale, maybe a cereal bowl full? 2 big fist fulls? another time it was harvested in a better enviro a little bigger then that was about an ounce or so. the initial seed run she was way taller, over 42 inches, and yielded like 1.5 oz+ and filled very large ceramic mason jar (w/rubber seal - maybe 8-9 inches tall, 4.5 inches wide) filled to the top , and a little bit still wouldn't fit in.

it's plenty and it lasts me forever, no tolerance build up for me. i'm sure it would yield a ton more in the proper enviro w/stronger lights, but you know, believe me its just as good w/fluro. maybe just less of it. sativa leaning plants seems to do better with less light. if you look at her when she was young, she was more indica, fan leaves that can cover your face.

yeah alot of dudes, especially puerto ricans from the city, call all haze the piff. most of the time it's another haze, good, potent, but not the piff. i had the real piff a few times, it was very potent, and they must use alot of nutes or heavy duty ferts, cuz that shit gave me anxiety, my knees rocking, the chills...and i was outside in july. i was high a loooong time too. 1st time i heard off i got the piff, i said what the fuck is the piff...now i know and i dont want anymore....

yeah. that's it dude,lol that's why i won't smoke more then 1-2 hits of her at a go, i've done more a few times, my hands tremble shaking+body freezing cold all over my body and sweating at the same time, etc. but not a PANIC or fear/anxiety feeling (its a good racy i guess), just as i described, its a little unpleasant, but bearable. the high is soaring euphoric in the beginning, heart beating, feel like a super star, little pacing+talkie talkie if people are around, i mean talking really fast, haha, but no fear or panic. then it peaks into a face numbing minds eye dreaming kinda lost in space, if you get to this stage, you can watch a movie (after a half hour or more from smoking a couple hits, if she lets up on you, otherwise you'll be rewinding the tivo every 5 mins, what just happened?) while you can't feel your body, maybe you feel like your outside of your body floating on the ceiling looking at yourself on the couch, while thoughts rush through your head, past memories (20 years ago),etc. past feelings, sensations. spiritual. your vision may be a little distorted, like the room is filled with smoke, some blinking effects, audio hallucinations like nitrous oxide (wah wah wah) music echos, maybe you feel your leg, maybe you don't. smoking too much slows time. everything in slow motions, you turn your head to focus on shit very slowly,etc. if you smoked too much you really can't be social, people will know your fucked up. too much of her the initial rush is just way too much for me. so i just do 1 hitters. but i've very happy with this girl. i'm curious how the other strains compare, lol.

another problem is she's super creeper, i mean, the smoke is smooth, cool minty, little fruity, but it does not burn your throat or anything, no cough, very easy to over do it, and it takes a little while to build up over 10 minutes, its not an instant punch to the face on exhale. if you smoke too much thinking its weak, by 15-20 mins in you might be in this panic "omg im fucked up over my head" state, lol. one to two hits, stop, and wait. and she rises slowly from there over 10-15 mins.

Exactly Big Ups to Sam the Skunkman, been reading that thread on Original Haze from the start. I really have to believe that alot of the Superior Hazes ie Haze Crosses inevidibly come from Sam the Skunkmans Original Haze ie Heirloom Haze and then crossed with everything under the sun, it really justifies why although different phenos similar Piffy Hazes Have been uptown for over 15-20yrs. Someone or Crew has been able to mass produce these lovely Haze Crosses for years and Amsterdam or the seed company's have nothing like it. I have heard many different facts/stories straight from the horses mouth and from other reliable sources along with online tales, But I will either go with two scenarios-It is grown in Brooklyn in old Warehouses by the Hacidics and then transferred over Uptown. The other story is that it is grown in Fla in greenhouses and brought into NYC. Either way or if it is completely different scenario this is not Average Haze bottom line, This is the Haze of the hazes.

philly - yeah i agree, i've been getting my commercial uptown from a hispanic friend for years and years and years, he reups from somewhere there, and won't tell me where, but i never really pressed him on it. you have to be spanish to get from those connectionss anything thats worth anything anyway. i would just get bunk if i went ;( most of the time, if not all of the time there were no seeds, but every once and a while you find one very immature looking seed in a bag, they are tiny, and very light. almost whitish, acorn shaped. these seeds do (and did) sometimes germinate. and there she is. of all bags i've ever had, i collected maybe 18-20 seeds. and its been a long time, lol. i've put her though everything, no air, heat, ozone spraying on her every 20 minutes. flipping the light on and off at odd times during 12/12. no hermie, no seeds, just lots of fluffy calyx and super long pistils, so i dunno. freak plant, most likely, haze, most likely, piff, not sure, but it smells like, and effects just like the shit you get from the city. its my piff lol.
