Greetings fans of JLP crosses!

This was a good one. Congrats to all the folks that got to try these. Better luck next time to the folks that didn't.

As i reported in an earlier post on this thread, much stress early on netted me mostly males. I did get one beaut of a lady though.
She seemed to lean a bit more toward the Sour D side of things in growth, appearance, smell, taste.
Fairly vigorous in veg growth, quick to frost up, quicker than I expected in finishing. VERY lemony smell early in flower. Frosty like Michigan's U.P. in December.

I ended up letting her run almost 70 days, but honestly I coulda brought her down at 55....and since there are 2 clones yet surviving...next time I WILL pull one at 55 days.
I think if pulled at 55 days, this particular pheno will have a nice mix of clear and cloudy trichs, will retain much of that lemony smell (and hopefully flavor) and will be an absolute bell ringing, up sativery high.
At 70 days her smell and taste was a bit more complex. It still had a lot of that lemon, but was a little more skunky, and with some deeper perfumy tastes and smells...very complex flavors.
A real nice, strong well balanced head high and body stone.
Again, I think this cut will really shine and show it's best when chopped sooner. We'll find out in the next few months, and I'll report back here

Gonna continue to play with this one for a few.

AND I took a little pollen from 2 of the most studly males, and dusted 2 buds...so aside from the cut, I also have a couple dozen beans for future fun.

what is the smell of most of your jlp sdxog plants .my plant smells like earthy with some lemon when smelling but break it up and ther is some coffee smell is that from the og side .i don't smell no diesel in it.but i am going to get the rest of my beans in water with some
of my new seeds of dsd from rez.

dan woody-Mine didn't have much of a distinguishable smell as it seems yours did. Earthy/Lemon/Skunky were the smells I experienced during grow/drying/curing. I cannot put an exact name to any of ythe smells really.

yeah smell is real hard to describe on the sd pheno's but the kush pheno's seems to give me(and a few friends) a little coffee scent sometimes but mostly a kinda lemon/petrol sharp taste and smell soo nice.... lol thanks JLP !! damn just had 2 hits and im baked as f**k

yeah, I got that lemony scent primarily...a lil skunky and earthy. I didn't get any coffee smell in my 1 lady.


A couple more things to add.
I'd say this is a medium yielder, not huge, but well worth it for the flavor and high.
She's a bit of a light touch on the nutes as well.
I'll throw another clone into flower within a couple weeks. This one will get the chop at 55 days.

Sorry for the bad pictures but its all i got till i build a good light box.but this is the beginning of the cure .i do not know if you can see it. but these buds are covered in crystals. and i do leave the leafs on when they are this frosty.
as you can see it has some seeds that i made with a gno3 c99 male.but this plant is a good one for sog.i still have 5 seeds to germ to find more phenos.

I just smoked a pin of some fresh dried bud.and this is some good meds.for a good body and one good head.man and i smoked some kalimist early in the day and this is some good smoke.i Can't Weight.to grow out the cross that gno3 c99 and i have some kalimist crosses made. it the sdogbx1 had some male flowers at the end of flowering.but i might be able to cut that down on crossing it out with a good kalimist good stable from serious seeds. who knows i took clones from her. .just for future grows i do not know if this might be the only female in the pack.i guess i will start to grow out the rest with some rez dsd .this one cross had rez SD mixed in with some
og kush bx1 ,now i want to try SD side now of the plant.hope to find a pheno in a 5 pack.but so far so good.

i thought about it and came back to the smell of this plant it smells like dark roast coffee /chocolate sweet smell.but a cure is what is needed .but i just woke up and i dont remember going to sleep.but i feel good .i will give a detailed smoke/grow report soon.
i will also have one in the smoke report section.thanks for the wonderful cross jlp i needed this.

HazeVentura, love the calex its large and you will love the smoke.did a tester with some
new dried bud before curing and wow. its some of the best indaca i have ever smoked.
plus its got a good head buzz too.man i will keep this plant to grow from now on. i have a good mother plant to take clones from. your in for a treat.

some bud shots with a new space case grinder .its got sprayed with a wild looking sativa the leaf looks like pepper plant.sticky and smelled like lemon cleaner/solvant .
the mother is sourdog from jlp its a indaca that smells like rosted coffee is
bitter now but it just started in on curing..i might give some of thes out to the right person.untested with wild resalts pheno diving.
