See the truth is I recently got gnats and didn't bother telling anyone online cuz I just didn't want to! lol but seeing you say something and everyone just help out, reminds me what a sick community we have here and were all just here to help each other out!

lookin good Hazy. The NYCD looks great. That one foxtail pheno looks alien. I'm in the
process of using a quart of Gnatrol as we speak. It works great, stickies are nice for
removing adults but that doesn't solve the prob. I have a ton of perlite in my soil and
that didn't slow them either. I think I paid $30 for a quart and it goes a long way, keep
in the fridge when not using. I like Black Rain's cut them up idea but I'm going to use
diatamachious (spelling - lol) earth. Buying some next time at the nursery. So far I've
beat the mites, haven't seen any for months and am close to beating the gnats. They
have to be the stupidest bug I ever met, they deserve to die, they don't even fly
when they see my finger headed toward them. lol. Death to Gnats!

Always an honor to have the Maj. drop by. I had good luck with no pest strips when I first started, but increased my ventilation and I think the fumes just get sucked right out of my cab. I put two in there a while ago and they didn't even slow down.
I'll try a layer of perlite. Where do you get green sand?
Yo, BR what's up. I guess I should get gnatrol. I tried to cheap out and get mosquito dunkits (same bact. supposedly right?),but I guess I didn't know just what to do. I soaked them in water, and watered with it.
MY yellow stickys are covered in the bugs.
What's going on cali, so what did you do about those pesky varmints?

Lougrew, the G is looking real nice, it just doesn't want to finish, or I'm getting impatient. hehe. Yeah, I flushed them and all the new growth was flat.
Two of them are so dense and solid, the other as you see in the pic is lighter but still its a real nice bud. thanks so much.
NS, glad you made it by. I think I'm going to have to break down and fork over the cash for some gnatrol. I don't want to get too carried away with using spray.
The NYCD is my favorite smoke right now. I smoke it almost every day. And I have clones of 4 plants to run again to give them another check before i decide which 3 to scrap.
Well I'll probably not keep the alien plant.
Actually, I'll grow out the clones of the alien. It's really between two of them. The alien is out and also one that made nice little buds, a little too leafy, it's real stony, more sedating than the other two. I didn't enjoy the down high as much as the energetic high that the other two give. But. I'll give that one another whirl, just to see for sure.

Hey hazy, the clones are looking good after two days in the bubbler! Some are greener than others, but I think well be ok. I let me coco pots dry the fuck out to get rid of my gnats, yes it's not very pleasing on my coco plants but honestly they did fine. My gnats went away within a week, then I used gnatrol just in case. I haven't seen any gnats since, but I am still seeing there larvae in my flower room cuz I can't use gnatrol on those babies

fungus gnats in soil,one inch of playground sand...no more fungus gnats.I had them soo bad in my old soil days that I had to look in my beer before I took a drink to make sure there weren't 4 or 5 in there since I sat it down.After the sand,none...shreds them like razor blades before they emerge from the sand,and it is free,or close to it.

I've just about gotten rid of the gnats. Pesky little bastards.

Every few days I see one or two, so I spray again. It's a pain because I have to move all of my plants around.

Gives me a chance to look at them though.
I found nanners on my SweetWarpxBurmeseKush girls. Cut them out and have seen no more. Nice fat dense buds too.

This one took a lot of trimming to get to these little buds. I smoked a fresh dried sample and it kicks ass.

Those OBs are doing great.
Out of 5 seeds as you know, all germed, one was a runt and was culled.
I took clones of all 4 and they are doing great.
Flipped them Feb 25. Two males and two females.
Here's one that I bagged so I can collect some pollen for later.

I had to take a pic of one of my DreamGoddesses. I have 4 in bloom right now and they're all from the same mom, but this one's loaded with resin from top to bottom. Check it out.

hazy - looking good man - I'm digging the female on the left with the purple petioles (leaf stems, right?) remember she likes her MG - epsom salts are recommended if not using dolomite lime in the soil mix. I don't see any for sure indications of which phenos so we will have to wait and see - so far the sativa pheno seems to be popping up close to 50% of the time...

Hi Hazy, the DreamGoddess looks sooo tasty,very nice. Since they're all clones it seems
strange one would have more resin. A couple of questions, is that Cinnhaze from a pack
of Mod's MeT's, isn't that one of the crosses in there? Did you happen to make any
seeds of the NYCD? Has the G-13 Haze been smoked or is it just getting a good cure?
You mentioned it was pretty good, wondered how it is after a cure. You getting to
the point where your stash is building? Now days I don't think I could smoke more than
one or two percent of what I grow.
Well my gnat prob is almost gone. I see one every now and then. I didn't want to
spring for another quart of Gnatrol so now I'm putting dunks in my main res, hoping that
will finish them off since the gnatrol took care of 99% of them. I'm so close to having
them gone. Like Outame 2, I had to check anything I was drinking in the garden to see
if any gnats had commited suicide before I drank, they don't have much taste though
On a personal note, I've just germinated some of Verite's Orange Diesel and some
Johnny Blaze, oh yea and five of the Double Strawberry Diesel. So many strains and so
little time. These three strains should be fun, I'll cross the Orange & Strawberry and I'll
prob make some Blazing Orange and Strawberry Blaze, yea, that's the ticket, that'll be
fun. lol

Love the dreamgoddes bottom leaves, those are killer, love how they flip over on the edges to reveal super amounts of resin!! Looking good hazy!

Sugabear, That OB on the left is the one I like too. It's a few days ahead of the other, lighter green leaved one. Those leaves just won't darken up. I'm adding a little iron that may be lacking.
They started out looking entirely Indica, but are looking much more Sativa now. We'll see. I bagged a male to get pollen, but I think if I use a male OB1, I'll use the other male, I still have the clone of it, because it looks like such an incredible plant.
BTW, that OB girl with the red petioles is showing signs of being resiny already, and was the easiest to clone. Heady Pete was telling me he was having sloooww cloning results with his. Mine cloned fine, except for that light colored one. First clone died. took four more later and three died. The clone that lived is stuggling.
The one that's easy to clone looks to be the best as well.

Hey NS, The CinnHaze was one of the dads in the MaT. Here's the pack, and a pack of NOT freebie MeTs. Before I knew they were in every order almost for a while.

I made a few MOD (kaliMist x Destroyer) x NYCD. In the future I'll make some other NYCD crosses. Like NYCD x Sweet Tooth
NYCD x G13Haze. I should have kept a male nycd. Actually, I might cross it with my Strawberry Diesel NYCD cross.
1 or 2 % huh? I'm not there yet haha. I've got enough now to let a friend have some.hehe. Here's what I'm smoking now. Clockwise from bottom:
G13Haze (skinny leaf pheno)
Golden Skush (Oh, so good)
Cinnamon Haze (maybe the best of the 3)


Man, the G13 haze is cured and great smoke. Mostly in the head. I rolled a joint of that skinny leaf right after I took that pic. Smoked half of it and I'm good. Very nice for working outside. That's all that's left. Gave a 1/4 to a friend.
I want to type that the Skush is better, but I keep feeling more stoned from the g. I love the skush though and will keep it around for quite a while.
CinnHaze is very fine smoke. I took one down too early(inexperience??), and was not impressed, however the last two CH went almost 100 days, and the wierd one's skinny buds are silver and has a high flying sativa high. Very cerebral. That lucky friend got a fat 1/2 of that.
All said, I'd rate NYCD as my favorite smoke. Got some on the way.

Those sound like great strain names NS, good score on the DSD, btw. That JB should be cool looking, so make sure to let us check it out!

Hey caligreen, I think those edges flipping is what makes this DG look so resiny. The others do it too, but oh so much more noticeable on this girl.
Looking at the bottom side of these leaves through my microscope is like looking into valley of wall to wall trichome heads. You could cross country ski on them.

The empties are on the left, and the ones yet to run lined up to the right. I have 5 of those CBs on the far right germing right now. There's still 5 beans in there waiting for you Chubbynugs, whenever you're ready.

Great grow you've got going here. I just read through the whole thing. I'm growing in a similar setup with a 400 HPS, but I don't have a perpetual grow going yet. Gotta work out a way to set up a separate veg area in my closet with NO light leaks (this was a problem in my first attempt at perpetual grow.)

Looking great...I love that g13X haze ...crazy looking leaves!
