What about using Bushmaster on these ladies - I don't mean this one in particular - but for future grows? I have one that has been vegging for a couple months that is a few feet tall. Was going to throw it into flower pretty soon. I dont even know sex as of yet. I have too many strains to deal with and the Original T*Haze X Skunk #1 has taken a back seat. I got mine as a freebie from Seedbay.

hey DON good going on the plants, good to see the od harvested alright. I am on day 4 of my thaihazexskunk1 from seed, its under t5 right now in ocean forest soil.
so hopefully it does good!! GOOD LOOKIN lemme know what the smoke and taste is like for sure on these!

That is an EXCELLENT point... i didnt even think of that... I got a little seedling of the T*Haze x Skunk... And i think i just may try a side by side run with the bushmaster

I'd think proper feeding and training would be better than something (Bushmaster) that robs you of trichomes and smell / taste... (Don Cotyle, please don't take this as anything but constructive criticism...)

Same cut (Neville's Haze), one type of training vs. another.

These sativas are especially good examples of when to dramatically adjust your nutrient levels away (lower) than your typical indicas or hybrids. Feeding them at 2.x EC is not recommended at all, in fact anything above 1.0 would seem way high.

Freezeboy, since te OD is dne I've cut my nute regiment in half. No actual bud sights yet, they seem more of the lines of long runners of bushy pistols...all over! Still have 50 some day to go and they were just unleashed into the light.

None taken Clowntown, If it wern't for the dual grow I could have babied them and done more with em. I didn't have much background on them and didn't know they would turn into monsters even with all the toping I did =P. If the THxS1 were the only plants in the closet I'd of used a technique closet to the first photo you posted. I was getting low on smoke, 2 quart jars, and decided to do another 2 stage grow to keep me pain free while the TH finished! I need more room!!!

Here's another update on the THxS1 flowering sites...they are literally allover-everywhere,looks like they are gonna be very nice yeilders!







No true buds yet...well they were tied up in the corner for 70 days =P, now unleashed they're getting all the light they deserve. PPMs are droping slowly but surley...now 1450 from 1660, feeding Lucas formula at half strength 0-4-8 and checking daily to see how the 2 ladys are handleing it...fine so far!

I did a thorough bud trim on some of the Orange Diesel Saturday and got 42 grams wet weight of frosty trim. I dried and hit it with the coffee grinder and ended up with 20 grams dry.

I added this to a Caramel-Walnut browny mix, followed the reciepy, and cut into 1/8ths. Took almost 1 1/2 hours to get off...GOODGOOGLIEMOOGILY!!! i'M GLAD i DIDN'T CUT IT INTO 1/4S LIKE i WAS GOING TO!!!!!!! Dose was just right, heavy,floaty,loooong high. Did em about 4pm and the next mourning when I woke up I was still disoriented

The Orange Diesel turned out nice! I'm just gonna use M@rg's description-smoke report here....I couldn't have said it better myself!

visual - nice swollen pods ,crusted with thc ,looked purple when grown,but that was all leaf.
bud is a nice greenish colour ,even close to the stalk if u can see through the trichs. nice long red hairs. all bud no leaf and very dense . very good bag appeal 8/10

Smell - Break open a bud and u get a kinda orangy sour mix smell,deep,very hard to describe .more sour than orange.it wouldnt fill a room with smell

Taste - this plant tastes similar to the smell but i think its more a chemmy sour taste,in a good way . taste in mouth starts from first drag , exhale taste will last the whole j and more if no drink is available. sour but not dry .i like it

effects - feels like it takes about half a joint before anything is felt ,at first its more a energetic,feel it in the body more than head stone ,like i didnt want to be sitting here,but end of j it moved bak to the head, then was making me more relaxed . eyes fixed on one point and just thinking.

this weed brings thoughts up in ur head ,makes u drift off its a hard stone to describe .very hard hitting in the power department.

The THxS1 is going nuts since it's been given the whole closet and light, bud sites everywhere!!! They're at 85 days now into flowering and getting longer but not filling out yet, triches are forming heavily on the calaxes. I'm gradually cutting lights back till finish, at 10/14 and going to 9/15 next week. Hopeing to finish at 8/16, I've heard they can throw banannas if light isn't controlled. So we'll see whay happens!!

I found a few bud sites turning purple as they begine to fill out, still about 40 days left to go. Dark temps have been kept in the 50-60 range...sure hope the rest turn purple!

How's it going clowntown? I took your advice and have been steadly dropping nitrogen levels via micro. Noticed what looked like the begining of Mg deficency and added Epsom salts. I'm gonna pick up some Cal-Mag for the cubbard!
Hope they all go purple!!!

p.s. i plan on chopping my two thai haze x skunk 1's tomorrow. They can still go another 3 weeks or so, but i dont wan't any pollen flyin on my LUI's, so they are coming down. I am expecting to get 2-3 oz's per plant.

and, just to let you know, ive already taken over a 5/8'S of an ounce off of them for some friends and myself to try. the shit is killer, even with a three day dry and no cure. the taste is just amazing. make you go to sleep weed. no lies. you will soon see my friend.

Sure enough one of the Thunkers. Only found a few way down low on the plant farthest away from the lights and almost even with my fresh air intake fans. I'm 85 days in and have supposedly 35 days left, but will let em go as long as needed.

yea I'm teaseing ya a little, but mainly giveing you something to look forward to, so keep them temps low a month of so from harvest =)

Thanks Lil Wayne, yea I gave em a dose of Epsoms Salt and they are perkin up a bit. Finally starting to fatten up some, I'm getting ready to hit em with Fat Flower 0-50-30 should get some nice leaf tip burn finally on the home streach!

Chopin em a little early...hell I don't blame you a bit, don't need no beans or worse Hermies. I'm gonna let em go all the way 120 or more if need be...wtf?

I'll let ya know if the light cutback helped with the banannas, and the nitrogen drop helped with the streach!
