The short girls are packing on the weight so i would think 5 week on these and then 6 weeks for the others

eheeh ok is hard to right translate a way to tell
the out season should start at the end of march, first days of april but the last year we had some iced night at the begin of may...
for eastern i hope to move in a new home and move my lil plastic greenhouse and try them there. think to make some f2

I was lying in bed last night..thinking about this male..

sad isn't it..

but he just has me captivated.
I only picked the Fat pheno out @F3-4.
and this is the first time I have grown them out..
and I have never seen a "mini AF" male as large as this...


He has reached 2 ft high..around 20 ins wide..


He has a stem as fat as a finger..he oozes weight and vitality.
With that in mind..I have named him after my Brother.

Any crosses coming off him..will be the Fat B*stard crosses...

What would be the major outcome on the off spring of this male?
does his height really determine much in the next off spring also how much infulance does the male have then against selecting just from the female genes?

Right..bearing in mind anything I say is my personal opinion..so I don't want anybody yelling at me.
All I can say is..I have used this method for over 30 years..and it works for me.

Say I make a Fat B*stard Russian...

@F1..I would expect to see...

#1...a percentage resemble the Russian pheno..around 12-14 inches tall..similar build..

#2...a percentage resemble the Fat B*stard..around 2 ft tall..similar build..

#3...and a perecentage that will come right in-between..around 18-20 inches..
classic shape..slightly thinner than the FB male.

If I want a cross that needs to be a Mixture of the parents..
equal attributes from Both parents..I would select the #3 pheno..
that is the true Cross.
The Meld

I would then find a Matching pair..cross them together..IBL from there to preserve/strengthen the attributes I wanted.

If I wanted a cross where I needed the Russian height to dominate...
and the Fat B*stard attributes were secondary..
I would select the #1 cross..find a matching pair..IBL from there.

If I wanted the Fat B*stard size to dominate..and the WR attributes were secondary..I would go for the #2..and repeat.

Those crosses are mixed/melded..if a seed shows an identifiable bias towards one parent..then it is dominant towards it.
How strongly it resembles the donor parent...denotes its genetic predisposition to reproduce the traits of the original parent.

Very busy these days, as I am now balancing greenhouse production and a new girl!!!!

Living life right now, trying to squeeze everything in each and every day! I'll try and break off and read back a bit.... Its about time for our season to start, and I'm ecstatic.... Going to be some interesting plants coming out this season...

I enjoyed reading that last post, good one to come back on.... That won't always happen that way, but it'd be nice.... Some times there is no incomplete dominance, so there is less melding of parents.... Wish we could actually observe these populations by the thousands.... How interesting would that be! You'd see so many different plants!

The b indy is almost to flowering stage... No sex signs as of several days ago, but she was going alternate with her nodes.... Almost there... Right on the mark, 2 ft, bushy as a monster.... the mutant and Supercropped non-mutant are roughly the same size now.... Last I heard she was starting to cry from a nute deficiency which I could see approaching.... Its being taken care of though... Organicly... Updates when I can manage it....

have you ever seen anyone isolate as many phenos frames colours and individual traits out of one cross as I have out of the Maz/LR's..
my method Works...even in it's most simplistic form.

When you start your crosses..
I shall be studying your breeding method...
CLOSELY..
in minute detail..
squinting over your shoulder...
and if I see anything I think gives better results..

I will just Steal your idea.

I may be an Old dog..with Old tricks..
but if you can Prove to me your method works Better..
I will be doing it...

ATM..Im not certain if either male or female donates the most genetics..
I have read a lot of contradictory views on it..BUT..nowt I am happy with.

I will try to capture a few reverse male/fem on these crosses..so we can see for ourselves.
My Opinion ATM is that it makes no difference...
but..it is something I want to know...so I might as well know first hand.

Mate the original lowryder as far as i was aware was created by the jointDoctor who also brought out Lowryder 2

I did post details of this pages back which i will find now as i cant find it on the net again lol

You know I got my original maz/lr crosses @ F1.
I didn't know if 1 breeder had bred the Original LR..
and another breeder crossed a mazar into it.

Or if the same breeder created both parts of it..now I know...
and I was right in my assumptions.
