How to grow more food then you... can't remember the rest (its long) by John Jeavons. Just type in "How to grow more food" John Jeavons.

Elements of the Nature and Properties of Soils Nyle C. Brady, Ray R. Weil

Sorry the rest are in storage at the moment... I dig them out later and list the rest. Most of my books are from college and Sustainable ag related.

Hey Scay Beez, the Secrets of the soil book you are referring to is by Tompkins and Bird right???

Especially interested in the Teaming with microbes, and the Soil Biology Primer...Just ordered them up to start with....Inside the table of contents it seems like Teaming with microbes is a pretty broad spectrum book....You da man.......

sophisto: Yeah the Secrets of the Soil book is Thompkins and Bird. I got a reggae version of sonic bloom one of my friends made.

Check out your local library because that's where I got Teaming with Microbes and Secrets of the Soil as well as others I'm currently reading.

Only actual grow book I own is DJ Shorts Cultivating Exceptional Cannabis and my CannaBible 3 is for the pretty pictures for the most part. ;) DJ Short knows his shit and it was funny when I started reading the book alot of hisgrow tips I already had been employing on my gardens so maybe me and him are long lost grow partners. LOL I really like the section on breeding quality cannabis. ;)

Does he really go in depth and in extensive detail in his book ? Also does he cover various grow methods and breeding methods or does he share his methods specifically???

I was thinking about getting this one a long way back....

I really dug Soma's book but again it was pretty general...the stories about how he accquired his strains were interesting, I also likethe idea of his planter beds....

DJ SHorts book is pretty extensive not huge but definitely touches base on alot of good stuff with breeding and just cultivating in general. Good read for sure. ;)
