Could anyone post some pictures of flowering Mighty Mite? I just got a pack of seeds for oudoors 08' and want to know what to expect. Alternatively does anyone have any experience with growing it (ie: helpful hints) They flower late aug. right? I'm at 44N So I'm hoping for some early finishers.
Much appreciated.

I grew MM/AK47 a few years ago. They flowered early but I waited till mid Sept to chop. It was a short bushy plant but was very good smoke.

Nope not true. Its an extreme photo sensitive.

There are a number of phenotypes, some will flower very early, others will finish around late August and early September.

Good smoke.

I thought that's what I said, basically? Still it was very good, not real high yeilding but not bad.

I got mine back when Heavens Stairway was still in bussness.

I was under the impression that certain phenos of MM would AF?
anyway I want to grow some AFs & PS this summer, I picked up a pack of LR #2 as well. I wanted to get some Lowlife or Mdanzig seeds but are unable to find any. :-(

i will be working on breederbrads mighty mite this season. they all auto flowers. prefer mm before lr for shure. mm is as far as im informed without ruderalis. its stone, taste and looks is better than lr. brads curent line is f11 and the f10s was aweful. pix in my 07 thread somewhere

I completely agree. I didn't realize there was an actual AF of MM. I'm sure its still an extreme photosensitive, just probably flowers under 20 hours or something like that.

I'm curious, you say the F10 was awful, yet you think the F11 will be better?

By the way, try Lowlife for autoflowers. No offense the Mdanzig, but he doesn't have very many strains and he doesn't have any released. Lowlife has a lot of strains and they're are having trouble keeping them on the shelves.

well i thought you liked them, what dont you like about it now?i think it is a great breeding plant, actually im on the f12 generation.this summer f13's will be made, and it will flower under 24 hours of light.more of a age trigger then lighting, males show 4-6 weeks under 24/0,trust me they are superb my friend.

For the record,i cant speak for other mighty mites availible today, but my version is not awful, otherwise it would'nt be goin into the 13th generation.it combines well and brings down flower times in every strain it mates with, allowing for even sativas to finish in northern climes.so if it came from me,then you can expect a great strain,if from somewhere else...i cant comment..esben you have f12...and maybe f10's as well..f11 are all gone+eroc/dpX mm which should really rock

mighty mite is still a very common seedline on vancouver and the gulf islands.just seen some this weekend budding under 24/0,standing about 8-10'',lol.
it was developed on lesquiti island back in the 80's,when airial survaillence began in southern BC.the goal was a short season plant that stayed short and finished before the choppers.not 100%,but it is said that himalayan indicas and ruderalis were used for parents.i believe oregon 90 and 90day wonders are related as well.when mighty mite became popular in the early 90's,the lesquiti boys crossed it with everything under the sun(and lights, hehe).mmsc used to offer like 50 crosses!some are still offered today @third eye seeds in vancouver, but i just dont trust those cracka's.
anyhoo, mighty mite is a valuable breeding tool for outdoor croppers, albeit mediocre on its own.
mm has a herbal/hash,bubblegummy smell,i think a mm x bubblegum would be choice.my buddy has a mm x hawaiian blood, that looks like a football on a stick, and reeks of sweet fruity bubblegum.as brad stated,mm can substantially bring down flowering times when outcrossed with late bloomers.as well u can cross mm with your fave elite indoor cutts, creating an outdoor/indoor compatable.
def one of the buds that put BC on the map.
