SheMale Status

SheMale Status

Chubby a quick note...it is a SheMale...mostly a She with a few male flowers. Some small branches are completly male though and I have tried to eliminate them as I find them...... DD

Ahhhhshit DOOB??????

Herms suck man, figures from asian pot....
Dont really look like she/they are big on resins??
Too bad i was hoping to see much better herbs from gyp?
Well maybe someone can select a pure girl, that resins more!
Can you tell us how she smells, hopefully spicy not just sweet?

There is a lesson here i would hope to see from these!!!
The trichome structures have NOTHING to do with how good
a quality resin may be in them and its NOT how many trichomes
weed has its how the resins effect us and there all very different!!!
Had plenty a plants produce small to nill trichomes but BLEW ME AWAY
so good luck folks and seek that quality resin in the old strains......

Matt thanks again for your input. Lou...glad to see you back.
These are very spicy as well as sweet. We are very big on power outages here and had quite a few as these were vegging and flowering. I re-set my timers immidiately after but am not sure if that didn't have something to do with the hermie thing, it did not affect the other strains. The resins are developing and building on the larger buds, let's just say they are looking very nice. I haven't tried them yet. I hope you are right Lou...only time will tell what I get for my lengthly efforts here. I am getting anxious to get the cross, Sweet Blue X Luang, seeds in the towels...thanks everyone for your views and posts....DD

Flower Day 120 Pulling the Plug

Flower Day 120 Pulling the Plug

Yep...I'm pulling the plug on these 120 day flowering girls. I am not harvesting all of the buds but most and turning the lights back to 18 on and 6 off for my SweetBlue crosses/F2s grow. The trics on the Luange are cloudy. I'll be adding bunches more images as this harvest continues. Thanks for your views, posts, and patience with me...DD

Hey DD,

Good work taking them to 120 days. Power outages suck! I'd bet that they had something to do with it. The cross should be spectacular.

Chok Dee!

looking good doobie, cant wait to hear the smoke report and watch those sweet blue luangs. on a scale of 1 to 10 what would you say the difficulty was working with the luang?

Thanks ThaiPhoon...Bird...I'm still laughing at the scale 1 to 10 thing...maybe it wasn't supposed to be funny...but...it was to me...at least I can laugh at a 1/3 year grow! on a 1-10....a 2 if 10 is being very difficult...they grew very robustly...did not respond negative to ferts. as I thought they would.....must have been very disease, mite, resistant...only a little sign of mites now at the finish. My only problem was the stretch and I just wasn't prepared for it, I only have 48 inches vertically.. I switched the lights at 21 days on October 15th...yes...October 15th 2007..and have topped them several times. I was prepared for the 100 plus days but now the timming is going to screw up my spring plans and these have to go. The colas are rather heavy...not just the seeded ones. There are a lot of airy buds. If anyone thinks of anything else they'd like to know please ask..I'll get a smoke report as soon as I can.....DD

Lou...give me a little credit???.ha...ha....120 days goes by so fast when your waiting to start your next grow...no!.....and yes they are small...actually... tiny, minute, miniscule.. if you were to compare them to a "field" of huge buds I saw in a "F the Cops" thread a while back...he...he...I still haven't got over that thread! Remember everyone, I'm in it for the images... of unique cannabis...and the therapy growing provides me with for my many physical and mental disabilities. This was a lengthly grow....but special to me! The cross ..I hope will make it more worth the effort. Gypsy I hope this doesn't kill the sales of such a nice landrace strain. It was quite the effort you, Gypsy, put forward in bringing these to us. DD

very pretty plant DD...I give u lots of credit for waitin as long as u did!!! I bet it'll be some crazy soaring smoke...I had a weird NL sativa pheno once that didnt produce much resin either, but WOW!!!the high was great..clear as a bell in the head and very soaring with a lot of energy!!!BTW, that plant was from Gypsy!!!Congrats on the harvest...cant wait for the smoke report..Peace bro

Sorry your grow didn't go better for you. Tropical sativas just simply do not do well unless in a proper environmental simulation...tweeked just right.

Imvho, the 48 inch vertical space restriction caused your problems. Imagine a 6 foot guy trying to fit into the trunk of a Mini-Cooper...from Los Angeles to New York, bound to make the joints a bit tender...thus an environmental stress limiting the full range of motion...much like the Luang felt in the 48 inches of grow space available and most likely why that stress caused it to react this way.

It is admirable that you attempted such a feat, but I must say, your results don't surprise me...given the tropical sativa nature of the Luang Probang being subjected to the limited grow space you have available.

K+ for attempting to tame a wild beast! :canabis:

DG..many thanks for your input...I'm very aware of my poor growing conditions preventing me from even an average grow. I try and list all my conditions in my grow reports to be fair....But..I did tame the beast..at least enough for my meager goals..I acheived a lot therapy from these gals. I only wish I could have represented the strain better. I'll have some more images and smoke reports soon..Highlighter...if I knew some of that Monk stuff I'd start chanting...Zeus..thanks for the pretty plant comment..I think so as well..and the smoke is yet to be determine..I think I'll break out a bowl in the morning..then maybe start chanting....DD

its cool doobie, laughter is the best medicine. i laugh at stuff all the time, wether i should or shouldnt. hmm, so the stretch is the only complication eh? thats nice to hear. only 4 feet of height to work with? man i forgot that part, i got 3 as of right now and when its down 2 a foot left i start going nuts so i can just imagine how it was for you. hopefully the sweet luangs will keep the sativa high and bud structure but the SB stature and growth time. could always hit the most sat dom out of the cross with SB pollen too  im just kicking around ideas my mind never stops... so now that youve made it 120 days with a tall asian shemale whats next on your doobie aside from the cross you made?
