Humboldt Sour Diesss - 800watt mh/hps

Hey everyone, this is my first post here on icmag although ive been lurkin around here for sometime now. This is my 3rd grow, goin on my first year growing, and i've slowly been upgrading the setup. I started with mad floros and bad genes and ended up with a crop less than quality. Had some problems with thripes during the summer months, but now finally got it dialed in under two 400watt lamps.

Lets see.. these beans came from a few zips of sour diesel that came outa humboldt, found 6 sour diesel seeds and 1 blockhead. Blockhead turned out to be a dude, and one of the diesels was a broham also.. so i am down to 4 sour diesels and then like 6 other babies in veg.. ill get to those later down the road.. unfortunately im lazy and gettin to this a little late, im about 3 days short of 6 weeks in veg and will be flippin to 12/12 on friday, but stick around cus its going to get stanky in heree ;x

800watt mh veg, 800 watt hps flowering
..also they are all going into 5 gallon buckets on friday

chrazey - thanks man, yeah i got hooked on buying glass for a while.. ;x .. yeah its not that bad of a veg cus i know itll be worth it for the yield, the clones im takin on friday will be going even longer prob.. thinkin 60 days for some.

yeah stick around guys this shit is the best smelling/tasting buds i've ever come across, and ive seen some nice ed.. can't wait to see this stuff in flowering hah, friend it came from said it stinks in flowering like no other ; )

i decided to flip to 12/12 on girls #1 & #2 tonight, and tomorrow ill take some pics of the new 8x8 flowering room. gunna be a totally sealed environment with some new lights, a couple 600's or a 1k to add to the two 400's. hopefully be able to get a co2 unit in on this grow, if not this def the clones. gunna frame out some new stealth veg/mother rooms which will be cool too, soo pull up a chair and an L

Well i decided i can't remember if these girls came outa the dirt on 12/15 or 12/17, reguardless i decided it was close enough and flipped them to flowering tonight. #1 was at about 17", and #2 at 15" ..hoping they double in the stretch or close to it atleast.

#3 & #4 will be staying in veg for another 3 weeks or so. 5 bagseed and 1 purple urkle are also in veg, clones from #1 & #2 to come tomorrow or friday, updates on all that later.

Little Veg/Clone Update

Alright.. well i got some shit done today, cleaned out the 8x8 flowering room.. got the lights, humidifier, fans etc all in there.. ill try and get some pics tomorrow right before the lights come on.

also moved my old veg room into a smaller space now that less is in there, took somethin like 13 clones off the 2 in flower and the one still in veg.. heres some pics

more veg cab... its a small closet/cab but has a ton of headroom, so i lined the walls with 80watt floro hoods, stuck a fan in the corner and bAm!

this veg room is just temporary.. itll actually end up being my mother closet, stuff a couple mommas in there in a month or so. once the clones take root ill be cleaning out another space for them. safe smoking, pz out

hello to those peekin in..

So i decided to go ahead and take a few more cuttings this morning from girl #1 in flowering to lollipop her a bit more.. besides the more diesel plants the better ;x

Heres some shots of the clone tray, real simple, works really well ..just an icecube tray in water w/ vermiculite as the medium, should have enough roots for soil by next thurs/fri ;p








The clones have corrected themselves quite a bit since the last pics, standing nice and tall now

FLOWERING: 2 Days

Alright well its been a couple days since i snapped some shots of the two girls in flowering. Lady #1 has been stretchin a bit, gettin around 20", Lady #2 is takin the stretch a bit slower, at about 17" now. Trimmed them out a bit as you can see in comparison to the earlier pics, lollipoppin now a bit.

Alright well the plan is to fill out this 8x8 flowering room pretty good with all these cuttings ive taken. Given their size already im really hoping that they will be close to 20" after a month of veg, if not more. If all works according to plan, the 2 diesels still vegging will enter the flower room in 2 weeks. A month from that, close to Feb. 14th, the 15 diesel cuttings should be ready to go into the flower room, along with 1 purple urkle and 2 bagseed (i have 5 going now, im going to pick the best 2). Everything will be in 5 gal buckets under 1800watts. I decided im just gunna pick up a 1k instead of two 600's. Exciting times ahead fursure ;x Can't wait to get this perpetual grow in full swing, should be a lot of weight per month.

got to love 10 foot ceilings....and yes the farms are worth it...alot of growers think recirculation dwc is better....not me the waterfarms blow away any other way i have grown...i can match the yield of a waterfarm in a bubbler tub with alot of maintenance...in the waterfarms no effert and maintenance is low and yield is really high...what can i say i truly believe in the system

TheBEAK - hey man surething, your babies look great as well. yeah def go for the bigger pots when you can, im never looking back ;x ..im a big fan of multiple transplants as well, give the roots plenty of time to keep spreading without ever runnin into walls, girls seem to like it.

alright had to pop in quick and share some news ;0 Just got some eds from my friend outa humboldt, some Sweet Tooth. Smells like fucking sourpatch watermelons... mmmm absolutely amazing. Also got some seed with it, the same Sweet Tooth.. so i just threw that into a cup of water, should crack here soon and be in the dirt soon ;o so excited, this bud is fucking amazing. Mommas will be the SD, Purp Urk, and now Sweet Tooth ;x Thanks maign.

Well #1 is now 24" tall, still stretching. The rest are all right around 19", except for the runt which is around 12". Veg and clone update to come later this week. 5 Sweet Tooth seeds are in a cup of water, update on those later too. safe smoking

thanks josh-skunker, they are gettin big! 5 beans germinated, all popped thru the soil, 4/5 were females ... not to bad eh? Them girls look lush and healthy but dont you think youre goin a bit long on the veg for just two 400s during flowering? Id suggest keepin them shorter. The light intensity from 400 watts isnt enough to travel alot more then a foot or so below the canopy of buds. Doesnt matter if you have ten 400's , you still gotta keep em short for optimum results IMO. Just my 2 cents from my own experiences.

thanks for the input b00sted, ive done short before, big is better. i have more watts coming. 1k fursure and most likely a 600. they like the dual 400s, and i get good light penetration. the bottoms get trimmed out anyways, so all the light that makes it thru is making it thru to everything it needs to.

looking good man...my kitty loves my grow room as well makes her think she is in the jungle me thinks...she all prowls around the plants like she is a lioness on the hunt...she dont eat the plants like my dog does or she would not be allowed in the room..great looking grow man...i have found in this hobby that no light is to big...i have upraded from (70watts 6 months)400 watts for 3 months...then 2 400 for 1 year...then one 600 for 2 years now up to 1600 watts for the past year and a half...i want more...i dont think i will ever be through with my grow room...take it easy man...peace
