4x7x8 400w MH veg 1kwatt hps flower GD

Initially i was going to start with clones, but after finding out the GDP clones from the club are 25 bucks a piece I decided I'd hit up a good friend of mine who graced me with some excellent genetics from seed. I plan on growing approximately 16 seeds out 6 different strains, and finding a few healthy dank mothers, than once i get a shit load of healthy rooted clones from the mothers i'll fire them up under the 1k in the room i built.

A seperate room will be constructed for the clones to veg, but this will be done in a week or so. I'll be using my 400w MH for the veg room, and the 1k air cooled HPS for the big flower room that i'm currently growing my seedlings in.

I will also be purchasing 2 95 watt compact fluros to put over my home made DIY aerocloner

The box I designed was initially built so i wouldn't have to remove the ceiling fan, but i decided with the 1k for flower i'd like the extra 16 inches for the plants. more pics to come soon.

I decided i wasn't going to bother with a heavy hinged door, and i found this sweet zipper at the hydro shop that you can insert in their light proof black sheeting thats super cheap.. so i thought i'd save some bucks and tack on siding arond the plastic and insert the zipper for easy access too room. more pics to come tonight

I see a few beginning to sprout out of the dirt. I'm using strictly organic Foxfarm ocean blend with the 3 nutrient bottles to match, big bloom, tiger bloom and grow big.
I used the paper towel method between 2 plates over my comcast DVR box, and nearly all have cracked.

Pics to come when they've sprouted out by later tonight..I'll problem end up mothering some of the healthier seeds and flowering some of the others..

I'm hearing good things about the TRC seeds.. anyone grown them out before? I'm hoping to get a nice mother out of one of the karens or heather strains.. JLP should sprout out of the dirt soon also.. Looking forward to seeing the fem nevels haze develop also

Been checking up on this thread for the last week or so. Nice box you built, i like the design with the zipper tarp door. I sorta wish I went that route after getting a Hydrohut mni thats toxic. Best of luck during the grow I will be watching

Well, Initially I was going to go with clones, but after my pocketbook took a hit I decided I'd grow out a handful of different genetics from seeds and find a few good mothers.

I will be building another box with 2x4's and sheet it with the black plastic material to save alot of work this time. I will use the 400 watt MH that is currently in my large box to house the mothers and veg my ladies so i can have convert my big box to its sole purpose of being a flowering room.

Are you using 4x4's for the corners? I plan on building something very similar but using only 2x4's if I can, and black & white poly only for the walls. Are you using plywood for the walls, or only the floor?

Could you post up some more pictures of the room, please?

Hey G money. Good to see the Terms getting some action. They should be very stout indica. Dark wide leafs, potent dense nugs. 2 Main pheno's a sour bubble and a Berkely. Both should be excellent smoke. Her's a picture of what a cousin to termination looks like its called powerhouse. Has similar lineage. It's the sour bubble pheno. Chances are any females will look very similar to this.

Clowntown - Yeah , 4x4s for the corner wrapped in 2x4s and sheeting from homedepot.. sturdy fucker but pretty heavy to move around the box. I'll post some more box shots tommorow, but its basically just sheeting and 2x4s , 4x4 in the corner for the frame... the door was easily solved when i found the sweet zipper at the hydroshop. i'm gonna add a 2nd zipper to to the left side of the front so i can have easier access to the box.

Berk - oo, that looks like money... the term is a stout little fucker so far , shooting up way bigger than the rest. the leaves are super nice and wide, more pics tommorow. I was only gifted the 1 term seed that bagster had left, so i'm reallly crossing my fingers for a female, so i can put her in the mother room. Definately has the looks of a keeper

I have an 8MP Canon 4x zoom powershota630 but my pics dont seem to be as clear as berks and others.. Any tips on taking good plant shots?

Tip #1 hold still as possible. Any movement while the shutter is open will cause blurry pics. A camera tripod would be very beneficial in taking clear pics.

Today I got bored and did some prep work for the clones.. Constructed an aero cloner with

1 Rubbermaid container
1/2" pvc
red ez cloner misters (25)
571 gph submersible water pump from petsmart
some water sealant for pvc.


here's the pics, and from what i gather and after i tested it , i would say 400-500 GPH rating is sufficient... it really mists the hell out of it the way i set it up

And some pics of the seedlings.. 7 have popped yet, and with the aero cloner i built i hope to get 3 or 4 good mothers so i begin cutting clones and get the SOG going under the 1khps.

I'm really really stoked for the TRC Heather , Termination, and TRC Karen.. I'm crossing fingers that i can make some good mothers out of them.. other interesting notables are the norcal trainwreck, and a seed from a bag of purples.. few pics

Nice room thanks for sharing, this looks like it will be a good show, TAGGED are you going to sex them keep moms and do clones those strains are going to be up and down with a lot of sativa.

and I think thats all. my termination is growin nice its on its third node and can already smell a little skunk smell.

some updates.. I'm a little bit concerned with some of the plants... I'm planning on just taking cuts from the healthiest seedlings..


The only thing I did different was instead of using rain water ( ran out ), I have been using tap water... could this be why the leaves look the way they do?
