The long maturation period could also be due to the fact you abused her quite a bit from the start, haha...
You can't really tell when it's ready to harvest by the colour of the pistils alone. You need to get a jewelers magnifyer or something with about 20x at least magnification, and check the colour of the trichomes...

Yeah, magnification or not you can see she's not nearly ready.
I'm really impressed at how well she recovered though, thats rediculous. She's looking wonderful.
Even though i'm sure your mouth is already watering, you have got to wait at least 2 more weeks.

I hope so, my goal is 5g's for this one. I think i can get way more out of my next couple grow. but anyway.....

Turns out my camera's macro mode is better than i thought. Here is proof that shes not ready to go yet.

yea, i would say 7g. can you get a picture with a lighter next to the bud, that would help alot in seeing bud size.

I cant take a pic with the lighter cause my hand doesnt fit in there with the lighter. I dont want to take it out of the box either cause that would mean id have to redo my "cool chamger" again. But its about an inch taller than a lighter and about twice bigger if not more in width.

Hobby Lobby has glass candle tubes. They cost between 3 and 6 dollars but don't be surprised if they are 50% off. They have a medium sized one that should fit a 42 watt CFL just fine.
1) it is glass and will transmit much more light
2) most of the light will strike the glass perpendicular to the glass surface and so less will be lost due to reflection (put a 50 watt HPS inside a "cool tube" FTW!)
3) I've seen some other people here do it with 75 or 150 watt HPS lights.
Just build a reflector to go outside the glass, or just line the whole upper area with whatever reflector you are using. With only 5" width to work with, you will need to measure carefully in the store or keep your receipt. (or get a bigger speaker cabinet- try pawn shops)

This is a great plan! But the problem is that the 42w barely fits already. I dont think another bulb or more light is a good plan for such a small space. The cool tube is a good plan also, dont get me worng but this current bulb already touches the back of the speaker. thats why the fan is in the middle of the rear wall and not at the top. dont forget how small this box really is. Its tiny. Im not so much looking to make a HUGE plant. Im learning as i go and having alot of fun with it. Looks like this bud will be good enough for me. Thanks for everything guys.

my beside box gets hot as shit from cfls, and the pc fans just arent cutting it with carbon filters on them.
