"The Original O'l Farts Club" sounds like a fun and playful name for a group or club, perhaps composed of individuals who share a sense of humor about aging or who appreciate nostalgia. It could be a social club where older adults gather to reminisce, share stories, and enjoy each other's company. Alternatively, it might be a humorous online community or social media group where members bond over jokes, memes, and anecdotes related to getting older. Whatever the context, "The Original O'l Farts Club" suggests a lighthearted and inclusive space where age is celebrated rather than bemoaned.

you sound a little to much like AI

Morning OFC. Another Monday. Tax day here in the Red, White and Blue!!! At least for half of us..did you know less than half of us pay taxes in this country!! Not fair....puts a huge burden on those who do.

I am planting my tomato seeds today! Hopefully put them in the ground around May 20th and June 1st.

Going downstairs and check on things.

Holy smokes!! That is an EXACT copy of the launch system in the 1951 movie "When Worlds Collide" -- I saw it when I was eleven years old.

Good movie. Better book and the sequel book "After worlds collide" is on the bookshelf right over there with the tattered binding.

Finally took a much needed brake today. I went to get bent and bit. (On the bit part, I really need to buy a set of grabbers. Thumbs a sore and shredded.)

Went to the honey hole and caught a couple of crappy for bait. Then to the flood control lake for the big blues. Flatheads are in there too, just non caught today....next time... Wasn't there for to long (thank the fishing gods. the knats were insane..patoowee) The first blue was caught.

The 5 gal bucket is for size ref.. They're between 15 to 20 lbs. No pick of other thumb. Couldn't take a pic with the left hand. Trust me it was even more shredded and still hurts. By this time I've had it with the freaking buffalo knats and packed up.

We have a big low coming in tomorrow night. That should get the BIGGER blues (40lbs +) to come into the shallows. So I can put a hook in their faces. At least that's the theory.

Now that I finally got new batteries for the camera. It's time to fill this hard drive with a gazillion pics. Last comp died and took most of my pics with it. (some know I had allot) I do have a few thumb drives SOMWHERE....lol

Expect pot shots and TREES.

Ahh shit, that last pic instantly transported me back to the late '60s early '70s, fishing in the canals out in the Everglades off of Alligator Alley. Other than the grass and higher vegetation in the distance, it's almost an exact replica. I spend a _lot_ of time doing just that.

Getting "bent and bit"... I absolutely _love_ that turn on words. Mosquitoes in the blades could be identified on radar.

Largemouth bass for fun and chain pickerel for eating where my targets, other than catching a high and drinking a tall boy... or two, maybe even a couple more, my memory is fading these days. o_O

So Lori the nurse popped by and gave me some disposable undies I've got to wear for the surgery - plus I got some red socks - and one of those smocks to wear - which ya bum hangs out of - and some antiseptic body cleansing washcloths -

I'm absolutely loving this play by play! Now that I'm on the other side of things, it's funny to see pics like this... I'll just tell you there's a reason they do that. ;)

While not so stylish, those socks are going to help keep those extremities warm. And Harley just said... you don't want to step on their floor _barefoot_.

We did that in the Washita River during low flow when it formed deep pools connected by shallow rivulets.

You have to do it by feel, because you can't see in the murky water and the trick with catfish is to avoid the sharp spikey fins. Their are also Carp, Buffalo, Gar, snapping turtles and water moccasins in the pools.
Never went noodling but would get the occasional catfish down in the Glades. Could always tell by the slow, steady tug on the line that I was wasting my time with a catfish.;)

Now hand harvesting Florida lobsters down 8n the Keys was a totally different experience, similar to noodling in that you grab 'em with your hand. Dismilar from noodling because those fuckers could bite back and _hurt_ ,if you didn't grab 'em right. o_O

Harley just said I was fucking nuts, she wouldn't _touch_ a minnow. 😂
