Yeah, you're right, I actually tend to agree with like 98% of what you post, but I also tend to only come to this section of the site when in less than great frames of mind and flinging shit doesn't always land where intended. Mea culpa man, I like your contrarianism,

I think its time globally to stop fighting Left vs Right and change it to commoners vs elites? Obviously there is a wide spectrum of debate on social, economic, and how to govern issues. Capitalism and Communism are just ideas and each have pros and cons. But at the end of the day, those on top don't give 2 shits about the rest of us, it doesn't matter what politics we subscribe to one bit, we are all trash to them, to be used to uphold their power, wealth, and lifestyles. We need to envision a radical change, something that everyone can get on board with, something that threatens this status quo and breaks the illusion of powerlessness that prevails over all of us? Any ideas?

I think Marxist worldview was more relevant in simpler times, while we still have classism and now global classism the means of production and types of production are so variable.
I believe individuals should have an opportunity to get ahead. Hard workers, risk takers, and deep thinkers should be allowed to accumulate wealth. Though most corporations do exploit a worker pool to bolster profits for the C suite and shareholders.
What I do not condone however; is generating wealth at the cost of others health and/or the environment. And growing wealth pool in a criminal or evil way (war machine, etc)
Sure it is difficult to determine where any lines should be drawn and what is ethical or not overall. But I think most of us can agree that the wheels are spinning off the machine that is our economy/society. The wealthy are never satisfied and want more...more...more and it is sucking all the wealth away from the working class. Perhaps I should be more hopeful as the younger generations, if not gridlocked by desperation, does show promise of making positive contributions to our global problems, especially in fields of engineering, energy, healthcare, and remediation.
Not every business is corrupt, plenty of good contractors, restaurants, mechanics shops, etc that pay a decent wage and genuinely want to do right by their employees. Then there are plenty of bad industries that want to keep as much of the profits for themselves and exploit people.
This is stepping away from the topic of war. But no one should be fighting for these clowns. Since war is so entwined with profiteering we know that most wars are not conducted solely for the purpose on the surface. Peoples children need not sacrifice themselves physically, emotionally, or physiologically so that some arms dealer can make hay. Fuck that. Its complicated as people have the natural tendency to want to defend themselves.
What if war came again to US soil? Part of me knows we deserve it. Should I, or my children, take up arms to defend the country from a foreign threat? Part of me feels like maybe not, we cant keep living like this. Bad leaders need to be called out as they are beholden to much larger evil forces in the globe. We need to stop supporting this with our tax dollars, etc.
While I want great change, and want a fairer system, I cant say that I would want to do away with capitalism completely. I think everyone who wants to contribute in a myriad of ways should be fairly compensated in society. Those who bring on innovation and take risks and/or work really hard should be rewarded for their efforts financially. Those who gain wealth through corrupt means should be punished for it. With greater regulation the accumulation of wealth would not be as easy. And for groups to form cooperatives to produce goods and/or consumables like food would be both encouraged and celebrated.

Ya this is just bananas. Hating on Jews just for being Jewish is wrong. Being critical of a country for their statements and actions should not equate to hatred against an entire group of people. One is a sort of racism, the other is just critical thinking. Its frustrating how Israel uses antisemitism as this shield and forces so many parties to enforce a thought control narrative to their liking. At least it is kind of backfiring as it is so easy to see this propaganda campaign in action.

I'm not sure solely identifying as a certain race makes you a supremacists. If you believe your race is superior to others than that is a problem. These things have evolved over time and where things are now hardly represent what they were thousands of years ago. I guess it's culture and religion but most of that is essentially indoctrination?
