Nah i get foodstamps doob. Dont you get foodstamps or some kinda help from the state? If not im sure you can get it. I get like $240 a month i think. Its not really alot and since about half or more my mom uses im usually out before the end of the month.

I know how to grill guys. I was just trying something different by marinating and getting my meat wet{pun intended}. It wasnt sticking i was just doing extra to make sure it dont stick. Instead of oiling the grate i cut a potato in half and clean and lube the grate with that. You can use an onion too. Works good.

Gonna grill that ribeye and maybe some pork but its kinda cold and real windy. Gonna suck but i gotta do it. Ribs look pretty good pops!

Yeah it's a spare room that has my stuff in it and MamaD has some space in there too. The steel is standing on edge leaned against one leg of a harvest table my Pa In Law made for MamaD. It took the place of an old drafting table where I did my landscape design projects.

So yeah, it's where I study things.
Hawk and Pops are right, that pizza looks like something a brick fired pizza place would charge $25 for. And u make ur own dough? Any secret tips on making pizza dough?

And buzz acted in a play with Lou Gossett Jr? What hasnt Buzz experienced in this life? Were you in 'Nam as well? Youre probably too young for that, thankfully.
I found this recipe a few years ago after trying others. The site has a lot of good information and the video of how to stretch a pizza dough is good.

A kitchen scale is the best way to measure ingredients when baking is the task. The recipe above lists weights in grams and by measure. Using grams gives a consistent dough. I use less yeast than the recipe calls for and I don't add sugar. It's a cold rise recipe and after the 72 hour rise in the fridge the dough freezes well. The pizza steel also makes a difference compared to a stone. I have broken three pizza stones for no other reason than being in the oven.

I did not go to Vietnam. I had a draft number of 5 and I dropped out of FSU because I felt like I was wasting my time and dollars. I had no idea what I wanted to be when I grew up. The war was still going on and this was 1972. My cousin who was my same age had a draft number of 63 and he was drafted into the Army before I dropped out of college. A student enrolled full time in college received a 2-S Student Deferment. As long as a student stayed in school with passing grades there was no draft. I volunteered to join the Navy.

No stories during those daze.

like any fine southern gentleman you need a place to study things @buzzmobile and that sounds like a fine room sir
oh you know we are going to bring gifts! ill stop by buckies and get you a t-shirt man, that way we can be all matchy (im going to stop by that place one day and order once of everything from the food and get a sweet souvenir tshirt and hat to match!)
one of the best things about being on the road was the cool places you stop at along the way, we dont have that shit out here in cali for the most part
i really enjoyed that video of the guy making the pizza! i never thought of using your thumbs to make an edge to the pie but he made it look pro
baking is almost like science and the more exact your measurements are the better
when i would make noodles from scratch i found that it does take some practice, you dont want the dough too wet or too dry, and a part of it was the feel of the dough
im not really into baking but you might have inspired me to give it another go

thats like $60/wk hawk, not bad
but if you are eating good steaks and shit i can see how you could burn through that really fast, plus you are helping your mom out with groceries too so there is that

Not much going on. Yeah no money until April 3rd but I have 5 grams of kief. Don't worry about me I'll be okay. Mom will help me out towards the end of the month. Bought me a Grizzly yesterday. So good. I do get food stamps...$160 month. I've got $40 left...none of the stores will let me pay for tobacco with it anymore. Hope everyone is doing good! About to get high and meet mom for coffee in the market parking lot. Then I go for a walk. Shit I gave my address to someone and they never sent any seeds...I hope they don't plan on eating me. I agree with Hawk and Buzz, those ribs look fire. A bbq joint would charge $40 for that many ribs. So those are spareribs not baby backs? Im surprised they got so much color in the foil but i guess u didnt have it too tightly wrapped. Do they get dried out too much if u dont wrap them?
I love the jiffy mix, it's like 60-70c a box and makes a fun cornbread. The honey version is good too, like u said, dont have to spread it with honey while eating.

U seem knowledgeable about history Buzz so im sure a college final is easy for u, even when drunk.
Ill take a look at that dough recipe, a 3 day cold rise is interesting. And ur right, got to have a kitchen scale when baking, even experienced bakers still use scales, it's not something you should really eyeball like in other types of cooking.
Did you serve in the Navy then, Buzz? I think you would have done well if you had been drafted. Maybe been an ideal special forces candidate. Independent, quick thinker, not easily rattled, doesnt mind getting dirty or living outdoors, and a surprising capacity for violence when threatened. I just made that last one up but maybe im not too far from the truth. I know u met a lot of nice folks in your wanderings but they be some scumbags and sociopaths out there too.

Does ur mom get SNAP as well, hawk? She should, then together you can have like $500. Or maybe those were her benefits? $240/mth doesnt go far when ur buying steaks. Maybe u can run into someone like DB willing to sell u their snap benefits for cash/whatever.

So the neighbors gave u the good mezcal, not the cheap jose cuervo stuff? Good tequila is smooth drinking. Why are they moving, they sick of the city and its problems too? Or maybe take advantage of high sales prices and move to a cheaper area?

I guess my mom has too much in the bank to count with my foodstamps.i don't know,she never tells me anything. I just thought I'd break in my new grill.not gonna be doing steaks every day. Naw baba,IM the one that sells foodstuffs! At least I used to.cant do it anymore. The going rate is half.$50 for $100 of foodstamps.it was nice living alone I'd have like $400 in stamps. When I got out of jail I had like $900 or more.

Never had good tequila.Cuervo is nasty.

So the steak and pork came out good.damn charcoal didn't wanna light but I got her going.my mom said it was too rare.she orders filet mignon well done so what you gonna do?lighting sucks

I'm going on a stricter diet no cookies at night my mom was always bringing me two cookies before bed every night no McDonald's every Thursday anymore we're going to whole foods and going to get food there at the Hot and Cold bar. Need to get my weight loss going again going to stop at the market and get a lean sirloin steak and some vegetables to air fry

nice meaty and full of flavor
i got about 10lbs for $30 in the pack and only used half so it sounds like a deal when you put it like that
/plus being socal i bet it would cost more than $40 ($50-60) especially with a couple sides
but corn bread is cheap, it was probabaly a couple bucks but its one of those things you can find at the .99c store i bet; thoe they dont really sell things for .99c anymore; more like $1.25 store
and a can of beans was only a couple bucks too so the value was there
bbq is one of the things i really dont go out for (like breakfast food)
i always feel like i could do it better myself at home for less
so i went to the stoer this morning and got a few lbs of crab legs, the clusters were kind of small but it was only $5.99/lb so im not going to kick up any dust
the dude at the counter was totally cool and let me cherry pick the pieces so you know i got the biggest pieces they had
the funnt thing was when i asked him if he liked crab
he said he has never had crab
i was like kiding him about being on some weird tom brady diet? i mean who has never had crab
what are some sides that go good with crab? i am some scalloped potatoes im making and some more asparagus
/BREAKING NEWS! mom might stop by with her friend later this afternoon; so you know im going to make a pot of rice for them (maybe go all in and make it garlic fried rice) to go with the crab

that steak looks just about right hawk! good color on the inside and outside, plus how did your soak add to the flavor?
the pork looks done perfect and i dont see any pink
maybe your mom is just one of those weird eaters and wants her food cooked a certain way
/throw it in the microwave if she thinks its too pink
what kind of sides did you put together with that?
yeah man, it was the good stuff
i dont even like tequila but had to knock back a couple shots, they were ok as far as neighbors go

a good diet is the key to health doobahz, and no cookies late at night is a good place to start
eat those things during the day
i made the mistake of falling prey to the sirens call of the girl scouts and brought a couple boxes of cookies a while back and now i have them in the house
i like to freeze the thin mints and they are a nice snack exp when i am stoned
those whole foods/ sprouts places have good pre made food and you can get decent deli sandwiches there for like $6
plus wander down the chips isle and grab a bag of fancy chips, plus their deli salads are rockin
i thought you kicked the dip man but hey you do you man

The devil tobacco has me in its grips Poprocks. Been trying to quit for 2 weeks. Would be satisfied using half the amount I currently use but ideally quitting would be best. It's very tough man. Daily struggle like alcohol was.
Speaking of alcohol how you doing @shithawk420 ? You still going? You try AA? I liked it. Too late for me, meeting here is 7pm. Past my bedtime. I'd really like to go though.
Buzz what did you do in the navy? I was on a 378' cutter. Was alright I guess. Sucked but it was alright

Just bought 2 ears of corn and a half pound of sirloin steak....corn is just finishing in the air fryer (10 minutes) and steak has been marinating for 45 minutes in a 30 minute marinade...teriyaki with extra pineapple. Shit is going to be sick. Rice? Side of some sort????? I have minute rice. I don't know. I failed my diet last week and ate bad food...including an Entenmanns danish log thing to the head. It was fucking good though, the cheese one. What's everyone up to? I've got court TV on. Some ex state trooper in Idaho blew away his estranged wife in the bathroom or something. I will need more seeds in the coming weeks, if you people can help or want to help with beans send them to me I'll pm you my address. So far have 2 London Jelly seeds from Tiki Madman. I like Sour Diesel. And sativa's that finish 42°. Northern Lights would be cool.

Best steak I've ever had in my life. It was like filet mignon. It was delicious. I don't feel like getting up to find the marinade name. Remind me. Best steak ever. I like my sirloins. I do a good job. Looks like hawk does a good job on bone-in. Well have a good evening dudes👍 Get high and help people

what!? what kind of airfryer you got? Im totally against putting steak in an airfryer but ill be damn if that dont look good.

oh sorry i missed your question doob. yeah im still sober. boring as hell but i needed to do it. went to AA once and its not for me. if it helps other people more power to them.im a firm believer that when you have gone as far as i have the only one that can help you is yourself. i grit my teeth and decided i cant do this anymore. im not done forever but its nice to know ivegot this far. two beans might not seem like much but if you can get them growing they could get nice and fat

/i cant find exact numbers but it sounds like they are getting both qb for about 4m
pittsburgh looks like they are coming out of the free agency period looking good and we will see what they can do in the draft
