Really looking for anything that slaps a big sappy grin on my face and drains away the cares of the world, but without much lock. I had an old Katsu x nepalese that was perfect for that, but it's long gone. Too many damn choices...

Bubba kush S1. She’ll be going into a 100 ltr fabric pot with recycled organic soil when she’s big enough, and grown outdoors here in Spain. I’ve been looking forward to growing this one for years so really happy to have her in this year’s selection.

She should reach a decent size by early August when flowering will start. This is her yesterday and still another nine ish weeks before she’ll trigger. I think i got the last pack from seedbay, but if more are available I’ll definitely grab some.

6 weeks, mocha coffee chocolate kush and faint berry background, almost liqueur like smell to it. Man I grew out the Pre98 clone and Katsu many years ago and dont remember being this excited about any of them, god damn I bet those clones were not legit. There is an option of me, failing to grow them properly, but lets quickly dismiss that

Interestingly I can clearly smell similarities with the Pure Kush (OG) that recently finished as well, there is underlying aroma that is straight up identical. Which came first is the everlasting question though.

Here is my bubba today, in a #5T pot (3actual gallons) transitioning to outside nicely.
In the next few days she will be transplanted to an 18gallon tote of organic mix
This plant handled all kinds of grow room stresses and never skipped a beat. It's been that healthy dark green all over since it was nursed up from being a runt. It was the last of my Verdant Green S1's and I am very happy with this girl. I really want to order more of these but I opted for Katsu's release here in north america...... sorry VG..... just too risky ordering from across the pond these days.
Here is my two headed Pre 98 bubba s1 stunner...... she will get big in a 18 gallon tote
I'd say she's ready to take some clones any time now too

I had to replace my bubba due to root damage. I was pissed off as it was a stunning and vigorous one too. Luckily the replacement has blown up nicely and will finish up a decent size.

Ya she is a really nice plant and I've taken clones but they are taking forever to root for me. It's a problem I have with cloning LOL. Despite this plant's very slow and mutated entry into life , she has been so easy to grow and has been nice and healthy and trouble free the entire time once she made it past the seedling stage. She is crazy thick with inner growth and I think I need to do some pruning of her inners she is so thick.
Lots of flowers sites and she did probably stretch a bit eh? I'll have to go back and look over the pics to see the progression. Bugs do not like this plant..... thrips, grasshoppers, mites..... none of them seem interested which is something I have been observing with this plant both in the veg room and now out in the greenhouse where I know all three of those critters have been on some of my plants.
Today is day 22 of 12/12 light dep and I'll be back with more updates as the season goes on

She surprised me a bit with her growth rate as she wasn’t as vigorous as the plant she replaced which was very impressive as a seedling and right up until i had to cull her. She would have been huge by now but never mind, I’m very happy with this girl and she’s still stretching so not full size yet.
