Ok - sorry, I misread the wingcommander article - it was wingcommander rather than cheesefarmer who had received a clone back after the original clone was sent to some growers. When he grew it out he noticed it was different than the original one sent out to growers.
You're still mis-reading the article, he never said it was different when he had it back!

He said it changed over years and years of cloning...

think it was me that misunderstood that part sorry, guy has a way of explaining stuff that is hard to follow i find, same with the posts peteprice put up a couple pages back from ww about the flower bed,he throws in that a mate called Tommy named it cheese but in the other article it reads like he (wing comm) named it,not doubting the guy,he's prob told the same story all along, just he's got a way of explaining shit i find confusing and possibly the person being relayed the story for the articles also

I've only just harvested the wizard cut and that dirty dirty skunk is now taking on that ever familiar cheesey/ hashiness with a slight tinge berry bk ground. but like I said previously I didn't do her justice so can only imagine what this wizard cuts like when grown well.
met my old pal yesterday had a bit sealed/ double sealed to show him for his thoughts and as soon as he opened the seal it fuckin reeked, had to tell him to hurry the fuck up and shut the tub

This.....

Im not sure why people are thinking the Brightside and the original are different......rick grew the the Brightside and had it coming out like cheesefarmers loads of times with all that silver, blown up twisting caylx look......cheesefarmer and brighside new each well.....they got brighside to take the original cut out to homegrown fantasy in 2002....and then were going there to smoke it....quejo didn't even put out his picture of croped cheese till 2004......

By the way ive had cuttings onon the rare occasion that ive held for years and to begin with they were mediocre.... but have gone haywire all of a sudden after being fkd and come back out completely different and genetically ramped up to the max were the clone was now mad potent, stunk and also grew like a freak.....all while being in my possession throughout its entire life time....

I also wouldn't bank on all the clones quejo pased out as being the original clone....he could be shady when he wanted to be....ive know him to pass out his kachina (trainwreck x cheese ) as cheese and some cheese ibl he was trying to make....not someone who I would say is a confirmed point of verification.
I thought cheese farmer was brightside and of the hill…

In that thread on uk420 some dude asked cf about the psychosis and cf didn’t know anything of it. Then a dude named farmer g posted this

Psychosis

And they discussed how they had a mutual friend that was known for mislabeling cheese clones.

I just find it hella interesting that cheesefarmer didn’t even know about the psychosis clone until 2012.

Something just seems off

This looks like the real deal to me....looks different to that clone from the usa in the one picture claiming to be wizard or something......your picture of the snip in the cup looks to be the same as what English rick had....
English ricks Brightside in veg....

True - the one in this pic looks very much like mine. This is a good pic because it shows two shades of green - the lowers on this one are starting to fade to a lighter green, probably because she needed to be fed or the lowers weren't getting enough light, while the tops are more the darker flat Army green that mine shows when she's happy. And it definitely shows that angular branching I've seen on mine.

But, what about the part before that - where he said "a friend of a friend of mine..." came back from Amsterdam with seeds + "this plant was cloned and passed on to 3 or 4 people" - he never says he was given a clone or even had a clone or was even the person who popped the seeds or had passed it to the 3 or 4 people. It was his friend that got the seeds - he never said his friend got the seeds for him.

Also, I think what hit bimblebrains (and me after he pointed it out) is that he described having to set up a grow room after all that went down, supporting an inference that he didn't have a grow room when the seeds were popped and clones were first passed - and, at the top of the excerpt you pasted above - he said he needed clones. Why would he need clones if his friend of a friend had already given him the cheese? It makes more sense that the clone he got came later - after the 3 or 4 people who got the clone from his friend of a friend had worked with it.

Thus the inference that he could have gotten a different plant from the original cheese has been raised.
