Thats a good idea....im not sure if that clone ojd is holding is easily available now.....and im not sure how selfing it turns out as ive not tried those yet. ...from what I've seen of it it does very well in outcrosses and passes the diesil traits heavily....and then a small percentage of the seeds come out as high quality elites just as good as some of the clones going around in the early diesel days..
Keep us updated with how you get on with some of your work and some of the results you come up with....good luck...will be cool to see all those diesel plants flowering out.

Yeah man I will definitely keep updates going on here. I'd love to give out some beans too if people would wanna help me run through some S1's when the time comes. I have seen the S1's Meltingpot did with the Underdog and they were killer. Worked out amazing in all his fem hybrids he made also. I imagine there will be some killer plants to be found for sure. Should be a blast. I'm not sure which one OJD has. He mentioned it came to UK via DNA I believe. I am gonna talk to a buddy and see if he remembers which one they had back then. Its really hard to say much from the reversal pictures and veg pics. Diesels can vary on the morphology quite a bit room to room and even run to run sometimes. Do you know if there is any old flowering pictures of that Original Diesel? I have seen the S1's flowered out and they look badass. Definitely a Diesel plant for sure. I got a DNL BC1 F2 from JJ in flower right now too. He made these like 8 or 9 years ago I believe he said. I was very grateful he shared some of them with me. I have been super curious about the DNL and RFK. Its an interesting plant too. So far she has a lot of resemblance to the DNL cut JJ and Money Mike were showing on the DNL thread around 2013. I'm at day 36 of flower with her now. Only 3 seeds popped, 2 males and 1 female. I kept cuts of the female and the taller lankier male that looks damn near identical to this female in veg. I'm really hoping it comes out like the original DNL momma. I've always been intrigued by the Diesel gene pool and I know its not certain, but the DNL and RFK were rumored to be in there. Either way the bud has a pretty funky smell to it. Will be cool to see how she comes out. I will throw some pictures up of her too here soon.

I mean me at the end of the day you’ve held the cut for a while and you talked about it on the East Coast sour diesel thread. I mean all you have to do is just do a little bit of digging and you definitely posted those reversal pics pretty far back like 2013 or something. If you really don’t have 1 pic like on a phone or camera all those years it’s just interesting and people just see you pop up anytime original diesel just posted on a thread think people are just wanted to see a picture of it not A veg pic and a reversal pic talking about S1. Hopefully you’ll post one in the future I guess lol

Your talking pure breeze , Reversal pics and all pics were from last year.
2013 was first Time I tried Reversing the clone, none of those pics have been reposted as I don't have them to repost

It would be awesome if you could show some grow reports or real pictures of a flowering plant. Your literally here just trying to promote your seed company.

FYI nobody should really be able to "verify" that its the real Daywrecker besides Swell and Vondo. You know? The dudes who actually popped the seeds? Send them a cut and lets really find out lol

I got pics. Here is one of the Original Diesels. This is the one I am pretty sure is the same as Meltys Underdog cut. She is a bad bitch. I think it’s the same one Nature Farmer runs also. There is less legit OD cuts than Sour cuts. Whichever she is she’s bad.
You can see the variegated ECSD/Hunter Mountain cut. I got the mom to stop variegating completely so the next run will be better for her.

I wouldn't say I'm rewriting history. I'm taking information thats already out there and documenting it in the thread along with some grows. The history was quite shaky as is, so its not surprising at all that new information is coming to light. A lot of what I have gathered comes from people like Sour Silicate, Swell, the Weasel, etc. Even the people directly involved that popped the seeds and sold the weed have still been piecing this together and learning new information. Its an ever evolving story. Sticking to the old "story" like its gospel and being threatened by any new information is not really a good way to go about it. I really could care less if anyone disagrees with me. I'm doing this for my own reasons, and people disagree thats just life. It should not cause bullshit drama to share this information and some grow reports with all these plants. People may not like it, they may have a different story they are sticking too cause its important to them for various reasons. There is really no reason for people to get upset about it like they are though.

The major problem with those famous cuts and their origin stories is just that, they are only stories to embellish a boring or incriminating reality, I have not a sigle example of a mythical strain or clone whose origin is 100% crystal clear because having a cool story attached to it is much more marketable. It is time we as connaisseurs don't be fooled any more by those stupid marketing tactics, there is today tools to analyze plant DNA but not enough growers are ready to be open about their lies and deceptions so there is no standards to be sure you have a real OG Kush or Sour Diesel. This grey area allows so many people to make money on names first and quality second, it is time we change our way.

Not everyone keeps pictures- in an illegal climate it’s not necessarily the best idea.
Personally I’ve been growing a long time and the only pics I’ve got are on this site… none are kept by me
