Yeah I have seen that before on my plants too, mosaic patterns can be caused by viruses, and sometimes its just a natural variegation. May have just got a little error in the transcription/ replication during cell division and growth. Keep an eye on it.

If in doubt prune it out, is what the Plant Pathology Dr.'s say to do.

Getting frosty and bulking up! I like the purple! Lots of flower bract leaves if you want to make hash. Do you do plan to do any hash runs with the trim and leaves? Could just trim it long and smoke it.

I usually make olive oil with the trim, as I mostly vape nowadays, and hash is not the same with a vaporiser in my opinion.

I guess olive oil is used in cooking then. Will have to look that up. I just have to figure out how to get the dosage right!

I take olive oil directly with a tablespoon. It is homemade and organically grown so you can drink it pretty much. It also works well topically.

If I remember correctly last summer I used 70g of bud (no trim) for 1L of olive oil. Last month I made butter and used 30g of bud (no trim) for 375g of butter. I ended up with 250g of infused butter because some of it gets lost in the water.

How much weed you use for edibles is not that important, because everytime you make a batch of oil or butter or whatever, there needs to be a period of testing. Just because each time it's gonna come out very different. So in the case of oil I will have half a tablespoon to try it out, and if I didn't get very high I will try the next day with a full tablespoon. Rinse and repeat until I find my preferred dose. I make a mental note of how much oil is a nice relaxing time, and how much is a "fun"dose. With the butter, once I find my dose I will make portions and vacuum seal them.

Thats so handy. Thanks for the tips I have lots of olive oil stocked up for emergencies. I can look it up in the cooking forum, but what temp. are you using and how long do you simmer it? Do you heat it in the oven before simmering in olive oil?

I rarely smoke hash, but I might use olive oil. I would keep it in the fridge I guess or possibly freeze for long term.

Lots of good results with PCK from what I have seen. Indoor can be stressful on the plants, hope you find some good phenos of Pakistani Chitral Kush, goingrey!

Where did this line originate? Who was the one to introduce it to the community?

In a recent Breeders Syndicate 2.0 episode they mention a book by the breeder of PCK, about breeding PCK, but I can't find it online...

I do decarb it in a vacuum sealed bag, in boiling water, for around 40 min. Then I heat the oil in a double boiler and keep it between 93-98°C for 4 hours. You don't need to keep it in the fridge, oil is a great conservant. Just in a cool dark place. Ask me whatever you want about it through PM, so the thread stays on topic.

Correct me if I'm misremembering what I read in Spanish forums a while back - Cannabiogen got the PCK directly from Pakistan. A quick Google search confirms Isidoro Rodríguez did indeed work for Cannabiogen.
Yep mentioned in this thread also..
Hello LoveRises,

Our Paki population was brought by Cannabiogen' breeder years ago from Chitral region. It's not derived from dutch/american chitral lines and i highly doubt it is straightly related to new kush elite american cuts. For what i've seen, american elite are indica dominant plants, but dont know much about their genetic background.

Many different purple strains share similar kind of aromas and tastes, maybe some common 'purple' terpenes are very frequent in this kind of pigmentations.

Best wishes!

Sounds like having an occasional intersex/hermi plant would be expected with a heavily inbred population. Just have to keep an eye out and remove them. Sucks it was the male. Stress promotes intersex tendency.

Cool sounds like a great line! Glad some folks like Isidoro Rodriguez went out there to get these landraces when they did!

Those are quite nice! Producing well and liking the purple hues going on! Lots of resin I see! Thanks for the update!

Getting close maybe 2 weeks from finish? When do you plan to take them? : smoke:

Thats great they performing well and are light feeders, usually plants go hungry and yellow this time of year!

Thanks guys, yes they are quite pretty but I can't take credit for that :ROFLMAO: It's the genetics I guess.

@el mani Las tuyas son las de Cannabiogen entonces no? Ya veremos cómo difieren de éstas.

@pipeline Yes, I think around 2 weeks maybe a couple days more as most of them still have many white pistils. I will be checking the resin glands.

@The Zientist Yes this is my first time with them. The soil is ammended with slow release nutrients from the brand Biotabs.

Thats pretty cool are you using the entire biotabs system with biotabs or just parts of it?

I have been using the full line for a couple of years, except for the microbes and mychorrizae (sp) from Great White. I bought it to ease the learning curve from growing with "organic" bottled nutrients for many years, to building a real organic soil. This brand gives you a fool proof package, so to say. I'd say it works well for that, as a stepping stone for people new to building a real living soil. This will likely be my last grow with this brand though, because it is quite expensive in comparison to buying regular agricultural ingredients. As happens with most products in the cannabis world I guess :ninja:
